"It's the spark plugs... and some of the wires are shot..." AJ sighed, wiping his hands with a rag. "It's weird. They were fine yesterday when I checked everyone's cars. This shouldn't have happened."
"How long will it take to fix?" I was frustrated. I expected to be in San Diego by tonight, but now we have this setback. It didn't help that I started feeling dizzy. It hit me this morning when I woke up, but now it was much worse.
"Depends. The pup's car is common enough. We might be able to find the parts, but we'll have to see." He knew I was annoyed and didn't want to hear the news. "If we can't find the parts, you can go ahead. I'll stay with him until the parts come. Or we could head home."
