INT. CLASSROOM 12B – JULY 15, 2025 – MORNING – HEAVY RAINFALL
Rain hammers the windows. Water streaks blur the outside world.
The ceiling fan whirs faintly, barely cutting through the noise of restless teenagers.
AYUSH (V.O.)You never know when your last normal day will be.That morning seemed ordinary. But something was off—something none of us saw coming. We were already living the prologue of the end.
At the back — six boys, five girls — The Bunker Squad.
Close-up on Ayush's notebook: first page reads —
THE BUNKER SQUAD

AYUSH (V.O.)We called ourselves The Bunker Squad — just a joke, at first.Skipping classes together, making it through school. But soon, that name meant something else. Something real.
INT. SCHOOL CANTEEN – LUNCHTIME – INSIDE CHAOS
Rain pounds on the roof. Inside, the air smells like warm food and sweaty backpacks.
The squad splits across two tables — boys on one side, girls on the other — but talk flows freely.
KARTIK(laughing)Bro, Lucky missed passing by two marks. That's not a fail — that's a betrayal.
LUCKY(shrugs)Teacher just doesn't like me, simple.
DEVKarma for copying Vijay's answers.
Laughter bursts out.
Girls glance over, smiling.
Focus shifts to the girls:
Ananya — sharp, quiet, always watching.
Ayesha — sporty, no-nonsense, fastest runner.
Isha — reserved, sketchbook always ready.
Sanaa — talkative, but listens even more.
Nisha — top of the class but chill with us.
Ayush looks at Ananya. Their eyes meet for a brief second. He looks away.
KARTIK (low voice)You'll have to tell her someday, bro. Before it's too late.
AYUSH (V.O.)Kartik always says it straight.Even when I don't want to hear it.
INT. CLASSROOM – AFTERNOON – SILENCE FALLS
Phones buzz — all at once.
Breaking News alert flashes:
"Unknown virus outbreak in parts of India. Infected show violent, aggressive behavior. Investigation ongoing."
SURAJ(scoffing)Viral prank or marketing stunt.
MANISHBet Netflix makes a doc about this in three months.
Then the loudspeaker crackles.
PRINCIPAL (V.O.)"All students stay in classrooms. This is not a drill. Doors will be locked. Parents are being contacted."
A pause.
The classroom goes silent.
Teachers hurry to lock doors, draw curtains.
Whispers ripple through the room.
AYUSH (V.O.)That's when the joke stopped. That's when it got real.
INT. SCHOOL AUDITORIUM – EVENING – LOCKDOWN
200+ students sit on the floor, walls. Teachers pace nervously.
Power flickers once.
KARTIK stands.
KARTIK(steady, commanding)Panic helps no one.Stick together. Stay calm. We've got this.
Teachers nod. Some students quietly cry.
Ayush scans the room, finds Ananya.
She's calm. Watching. Calculating.
AYUSH (V.O.)She wasn't scared.She was ready.
INT. AUDITORIUM – MOMENTS LATER – CHAOS
A SCREAM.
Doors slam open.
MR. SHARMA, school guard, stumbles in — blood pouring from his shoulder.
Behind him — a limping girl. Pale skin. Dead eyes.
She lunges, biting his neck.
SCREAMS, running, panic.
KARTIK(shouting)Move! Side exit! Ayush! Shivam! Let's go!
Ayush grabs Ananya's hand. No hesitation.
Ayesha, Tanya, Bhargav join — Bhargav clutching a wrench like a weapon.
INT. SCIENCE LAB – NIGHT – BARRICADE
Heavy shelves shoved against the door.
Everyone breathes hard.
LUCKY(low, shaky)This isn't real, right?
AYESHAWe saw it. It's happening.
TANYA(quietly)My uncle's army. He warned me months ago.Said something's spreading. Slowly. They thought it was contained.
DEVYou knew?
TANYANot that it'd reach us. Not this soon.
Silence.
Distant screams echo down the hall.
AYUSH (V.O.)That's when it hit me.We weren't kids anymore. We were survivors.
INT. SCIENCE LAB – NIGHT – FINAL
Some whisper prayers, others sit frozen.
KARTIK watches the door.
AYUSH opens his notebook, writes a name, underlines it:
ANANYA
AYUSH (V.O.)Some get warnings before their world changes.Others just get a day that starts normal…… and ends with the end of childhood.
