Once the combat is over, I quickly pick up the loot left by the Rancdart, looking at the objects with curiosity.

"Wow that's some good loot for someone like me just starting out." I started to pick them up but I could barely fit it all in my hands.
Rentoki voice "Ban, why don't you use the storage link?"
"Storage link?" Quickly a screen pops up in front of me another pop up window although different as it has slots.
Voice touma "there you can store your items safely, we usually use it for our tools."
"And you couldn't tell me this before? I've been carrying "posculas" in my pockets since the beginning." I said grumbling but quickly started inserting the items into that pop-up window watching it gobble up the items.
"Well this has been it now we have to get out of here so the crack will close."
I started walking towards the exit as my transformation started to fade until my hands were now normal and the horns started to disappear from my head.
After a while walking towards the exit and just inches away from it Rentoki's voice stopped me.
Rentoki's voice "Just a moment Ban!" .... Our horns sense presences on the other side of the rift, they are approaching apparently they are going to enter.
"Wh-what, shit if they are adventurers they will ask me a lot of questions why I am here alone and there could be legal trouble."
I quickly look for a hiding place taking cover behind a rock in front of the crevice entrance.
Touma voice "why are you hiding us human?"
"Well if they are adventurers they will want answers and if they see me without gear they will possibly report this to the place and I will get in legal trouble, not to mention if they investigate the case of helios, klent and the others who died and know I was present they will think I was the killer and it will be very tedious."
I remain completely silent as people started to appear and I am even more surprised, they were not adventurers they were the adventurers riot security group or better known as "Secud".
"Shit this is bad, I can't let them see me." I take cover behind the rock as the "Secud" members came in and looked around.
Touma's voice "What are you worried about? They're just more humans."
"You don't know! I can have a very big problem if they find out that I entered just a crevice and they will investigate me!". I let my words out in a small cry of irritation, but I shut up completely when I hear one of the Secud members speak.
"The cleaners commented that it was a young man between 19 to 25 years old wears black shirt and dark pants black hair and blue eyes, we need to move and find them if he is not dead already."
I waited for them to move forward and when they quickly moved away I ran at my top speed towards the exit coming out of the crevice.
"Is something wrong adventurer?" asks the one who looked like the head of that security team.
"It's nothing... Possibly it's just my imagination." Confesses the girl with her hair pulled back in a ponytail with loose strands on the sides who was dressed in her elegant outfit that she wore to do her job.

As I exit I look around to make sure there are no people nearby and then quickly leave the place without looking back.
As I walk through the streets I constantly look to the sides hoping no one has seen me.
"And where can I find those tools you told me about?"
Touma's voice "They are scattered among the cracks so it might be hard to find them if it weren't for the fact that they are attached to us so Rentoki and I can feel their energy."
Rentoki's voice "One of them is in a grade A crack, it would be good to go look for it."
With a wave of my hand I open my user window and see my stats.

"I'm still too weak for that, the Rancdart was beating the crap out of me and if it wasn't for my new skill I would have surely died, so I don't think it's still a good idea to go for an A grade crack just yet.
The good thing is that at least I already have a visible grade even if it's like an E grade."
Touma voice "As much as I hate to admit it you are right human, you are still very weak and our tools won't be easy to manipulate it takes a good grade."
I look at my phone to see the location of the nearest "Red Fly" headquarters and start walking towards the direction the GPS is pointing me in.
Rentoki voice "Where are we going ban?
"We're going to the nearest adventurer headquarters to sell the loot we got after that we're going to go into as many E grade cracks as I can to increase my level so I can search for the first tool."
I walk and take some transportation until I get to the adventurers' headquarters seeing how big and clean the place is.
"Wow... all the money they make they sure invest it in cleaning this place, it's so clean I can see my reflection on the floor....".
Suddenly, a young woman with her hair pulled back in two buns, one on each side of her head, and a beaming smile approaches me with a cheerful gesture her elegant blu-colored suit and white gloves.
"Good morning adventurer! Tell me if you need anything I'm Chiriu, and I'm the adventurers helper if you have any questions you can ask anything."
Touma's voice "And this irritating girl what the fuck?".
I see the girl's excitement and find it curious she seems to like her job, But I quickly reposition myself and decide to ask what I came for.
"Excuse me I'm a new Adventurer I entered through the page and I come to sell the loot I got by entering a crevice".
Quickly the girl pointed to a particular area there was some sort of robotic structure like a scale.
"You can sell the loot you got there adventurer, just place the loot in that place on the scale and the machine will calculate what you got and if you want to sell it just press the button to accept the exchange."
I find the girl's smile very pleasant, I thank her and quickly approach the place she had indicated.
"Let's see... O-ff22 Shiny Cubes Exchange." I said reading the sign above the machine that was spitting smoke and white lights out of its tubes I see the scale plate and started to take out my items and place them on the scale:

"Well at least I got something interesting out of the Rancdart and the dummy I found in that crevice".
The machine's screen started throwing calculations and emitting green light on my objects until it displayed a small message.
3 kilitons = 4 glowing cubes.
This surprises me, as a cleaner I could normally collect anda plus one cube but thanks to this haul I got 4 cubes and only on my first day.
"Four four buckets!!!, with that I can pay the rent, my little sister's tuition and buy food and I would have one bucket left to be able to collect...".
Rentoki's voice "are these things so important to you ban?".
"Yes, it will make my life easier.... and I won't have to wear myself out so much working my ass off to pay for things that used to be a pain in the ass."
I press the button that says exchange and my items are sucked into the machine then on the other side of the scale another hose releases the 4 glowing cubes, they are small cubes of a bluish color and their glow is dazzling.
I grab them and smile quickly, this will be a good way to get rid of the tensions.
I open the storage link and store the buckets in it before closing it and heading towards the girl from earlier.
"Thank you very much for your help, and hey by any chance is it mandatory to go into the cracks accompanied? I can't go without a group?".
The girl saw me and I was surprised to see how serious she gets when talking about a topic like that letting me see that it's something very serious.
"No, you can't go to the crevasses without a group, we take safety very seriously adventurer and to avoid as many deaths as possible you must go with at least a group of 5 people of the same level or maximum 20."
I nod watching with a bead of cold sweat running down my forehead, then I pull back and look at my phone watching the cracks open steadily.
Rentoki voice "So what are we going to do Ban? That girl doesn't want to let you go into the cracks alone, that's a hindrance."
I clasp my hands together and stretch my wrists my smile is wide and doesn't fade.
"Well that will be the least of it, I'll join any group that needs casual adventurers for the rifts and sneak into the ones I can by myself if I have to, But nothing will stop me I'm going to level up and look for that tool".
Touma's voice "Hahahaha that's right, that's how I like them to talk."
I started walking towards the streets with confidence in my steps, I'm going to level up and nothing will stop me I'm going to sneak into as many cracks as I can and earn money.
