Chapter 1 - Episode 1: "Shadows of Trust, Light of Obsession".

Episode 1: "Shadows of Trust, Light of Obsession".

EPISODE 1: Shadows of Trust, Light of Obsession

> "Trust is a fragile thing, easy to break, easy to lose, and one of the hardest things to ever get back."

---

Rain poured violently. Not a gentle shower, not the kind that invites memories or makes you feel poetic. This rain was the cruel kind-cold, punishing, and relentless. Wail Kaslana stood soaked to the bone, the weight of the storm still lighter than the one inside his chest.

He clutched the crumpled letter in his fist, the ink already smeared from rain and tears. His breath steamed in the night air, heavy and shallow.

> "I'm sorry, Wail... I never really loved you. It was all part of the plan."

- Your 'girlfriend', Elara.

The words echoed like a dagger scraping bone. Betrayal didn't just sting; it burned.

He wasn't just betrayed by Elara.

No-his best friends, the people he called brothers, sold him out for a quick rise in rank at the Silverveil Academy.

His family disowned him the moment the scandal hit. His own mother sent a message.

> "You're no longer our son. Don't come back."

No trial. No explanation. Just silence-and then exile.

---

Wail's knuckles were bruised from punching the steel walls of the dormitory basement where they kicked him out. His once-pristine white uniform was tattered, torn, and replaced by the dull gray of minimum-wage security guards.

And now?

A one-bedroom apartment in District 7. Shared.

With a woman he barely knew.

---

Present Day: 6:41 PM | Apartment #207, Snowridge Complex

The heavy door creaked open.

He was home.

"Ah!! Wail!!!"

A blur of silver-blue hair and office perfume launched itself into his chest with the velocity of a missile. He barely had time to react before arms were around his neck, and soft cheek pressed against his.

"Your wife missed you!!!" Jingliu squealed.

Wail stiffened. "Jingliu. We've talked about this. You're not my-"

"-Not your wife yet. But I will be. One day. You'll see." She pulled back with a deadly smile that didn't reach her wide, burning red eyes.

Her work shirt was unbuttoned just enough to make him uncomfortable, her black pencil skirt riding high as she pressed against him. She still had her office name tag on. "Jingliu - Admin Support"

> He tried to sidestep.

She moved with him.

"I was waiting all day, Waily." Her tone shifted-almost hurt. "You didn't message me once during your break. Not even a 'Hi wifey I love you!'"

He sighed, dropping his bag. "Jingliu... we're just roommates."

"Roommates don't wait for three hours at the door on their knees with a love letter in their mouth like a loyal wolf-girlfriend!"

"...Is that what you were doing?"

She nodded proudly, handing him a drool-smudged envelope.

He stared at it.

"...It's blank."

Her eyes twitched. "T-That's because I panicked when I heard your footsteps and swallowed the real one. But the feelings were real!!"

---

Narration:

Jingliu was once the image of a focused, cold professional. A woman so efficient her boss used to joke that she could run the company solo. But all that changed the day Wail moved in.

She had been distant at first. Civil. Quiet.

But when she overheard him crying in the bathroom on his first night-the sobs, the name "Elara" whispered with pain-something inside her snapped. Or bloomed.

Since that moment... Wail became her entire world.

---

Back to Scene:

Wail walked past her, moving into the kitchen. "I'm starving."

Jingliu followed like a duckling. "I made your favorite. Miso ramen. With heart-shaped eggs."

"You don't know what my favorite is."

"Not yet. But I'll figure it out. I've started a spreadsheet-Waily's

Preferences. 194 entries. Updated daily. Based on your facial expressions."

He blinked. "...You made a spreadsheet?"

She whipped out her phone. "Look! See here-Tuesday, you smiled 0.5 seconds longer when I made curry. That means you liked it."

"That's not what that means."

---

Comedy Insert: Kitchen Scene

Jingliu hovered beside him as he slurped the ramen. Her face just inches from his.

"...Why are you staring?"

"Checking for emotional response. I need to know what taste triggers the 'wife instincts' in you."

"There are no wife instincts!"

"Lies. Every man has them. I will activate yours."

He nearly choked on his noodles.

---

Flashback Sequence: 3 Months Ago - The Night of the Betrayal

Wail stood in the middle of the Silverveil courtyard, surrounded by elite students, teachers, and officials. Elara stood at the center, beautiful and unbothered, her voice icy.

"Wail Kaslana... you're under investigation for falsifying mission data, leaking combat intel, and treason."

Gasps. Murmurs.

Wail's eyes searched the crowd. His best friend Riven looked away. His squad leader crossed his arms and said nothing.

Only silence.

Elara stepped closer and whispered-only for him to hear:

> "You were always a backup plan. Goodbye."

His knees hit the stone floor.

End Flashback.

---

Back in the apartment, Jingliu was now humming, folding his work clothes even though he told her not to touch them.

Wail stepped out of the bathroom in just his sweatpants.

Jingliu stopped mid-fold.

"Wail... do you... need help with lotion? Back areas?"

He stared blankly.

"...No."

"I saw dry skin. That is unacceptable. Your body is sacred."

"You have to stop treating me like a lost puppy."

"You are a lost puppy. And I am the warm lap that will heal you."

---

The apartment smelled like miso and roses.

The lights were low. The heater hummed quietly. Outside, snow began falling in a gentle curtain.

Jingliu leaned her head against Wail's shoulder on the couch, her long silver-blue hair spilling like silk across the cushions.

"Wail..." she murmured softly, fingers brushing his arm. "Will you call me your wife just once? Just once today?"

He let out a tired breath, but didn't move away.

"...You never give up, do you?"

She looked up at him, eyes glowing red in the half-dark.

"I'll stop asking... the moment you tell me to stop loving you."

He was silent.

"...Tch," he said under his breath, and leaned down slightly. With a quiet sigh, his lips brushed her forehead, just a soft kiss.

"There. My wife."

---

Jingliu froze.

Her whole body went still. Her brain short-circuited.

"...W-What did you say?"

"I said you win," he muttered, leaning back, avoiding her starry-eyed gaze. "You can call yourself my wife. Just don't sit in front of the door again. You'll get sick."

She blinked rapidly. Then her lips spread into the most dangerously unhinged, blissful smile he'd ever seen.

"You... YOU KISSED ME!!"

"It was your forehead. Calm down."

"That's like, three emotional levels away from a proposal!! Do you know what you've done?! I need to log this in the spreadsheet!! 'First Kiss: Forehead - 6:55 PM'-OHMYGOD-I need to write our vows-!"

Wail pinched the bridge of his nose. "Why do I get the feeling I've just made a terrible mistake..."

But inside... there was a strange warmth.

---

Narration:

Wail didn't know when it began-this subtle shift inside him. Maybe it was the way Jingliu always had a towel ready when he came home soaked in rain. Maybe it was the lunchboxes she packed with little notes. Or how she yelled at his nightmares to "shut up and stop hurting her Waily."

She was insane.

But she was his kind of insane.

And after losing everything... maybe this madness felt better than loneliness.

---

Later that night...

Wail stood on the apartment balcony, snow drifting past the railing. His mind wandered-back to Elara, to the way her eyes had turned cold like glass.

Why did it still hurt?

"Waily..." came Jingliu's soft voice behind him.

She stepped out, wearing his hoodie, five sizes too big, holding two mugs of hot cocoa with marshmallows.

"I made your sadness drink."

He chuckled quietly. "That's not a real thing."

"It is now," she said, handing him the mug. "Wife special recipe. With a kiss."

"...You didn't kiss the drink, did you?"

"No. I kissed the mug. You kiss the drink. Then it's like a long-distance kiss. Romantic, right?"

He raised an eyebrow. "...You're insane."

She nodded proudly. "Only for you."

---

Sudden Serious Shift:

Jingliu's tone grew quiet.

"...Wail. If you ever want revenge... on those who hurt you... I'll help."

He blinked.

"What?"

"I've already been digging. Silverveil. Elara. The ones who set you up. You think I just sit here waiting for kisses? No. I sit here plotting your justice and also kisses."

"Jingliu-"

"I'm serious." Her eyes narrowed, glowing red. "I'll do anything. Just say the word. Your enemies are mine. Your pain is mine. Your future is mine. I'll burn the world to make you smile again."

The wind howled.

And Wail suddenly realized-

This girl wasn't just obsessive.

She was dangerous.

And yet... part of him didn't feel afraid.

Part of him felt safe.

---

Phone Buzzing:

> [UNKNOWN NUMBER: Elara]

He stared at the screen.

Jingliu snatched it.

Read it.

Paused.

"...She wants to meet. Alone. Tomorrow."

Wail didn't speak.

"Don't go," she said, trembling.

"She might tell me why."

"She might lie again. Hurt you again."

"I need to know, Jingliu."

Jingliu clenched the phone so hard the screen cracked.

"...Fine," she whispered. "Go. But if you don't come back..."

Her eyes turned stormy.

"I'll drag you back. In pieces if I have to."

---

[Scene: A Quiet Cafe - 10:15 AM]

Wail sat in the farthest booth, fingers wrapped around a lukewarm coffee mug, eyes fixed on the entrance. The wind outside rattled the glass.

She's late.

Not surprising.

He almost turned to leave-

Then the bell above the door chimed.

The same silky chestnut hair. The same eyes that once lit up when they saw him.

But now?

Now they looked careful. Calculated.

She saw him. Smiled.

Like nothing had ever happened.

"Wail... you actually came."

"...You asked for five minutes," he said coldly. "You've got four."

---

[Dialogue: The Confrontation Begins]

"I know what you must think-"

"You think I don't know? You framed me. Helped them destroy everything I built."

"I was scared, Wail! They said if I didn't play along, I'd lose everything too-!"

"So you sacrificed me instead."

He chuckled bitterly.

"And you kissed me the day before you betrayed me. Just to keep the act going?"

"I..."

Her voice faltered. "I still loved you. Part of me still does."

Wail's jaw clenched.

He stood.

"This was a mistake."

---

[Outside: The Streets - Moments Later]

As Wail stepped out into the snowstorm, he didn't see the black figure watching him from across the street. But the red glint of eyes in the alley told the story-

Jingliu had followed.

From the moment he left the house, she had trailed him like a shadow. Dressed in a black hoodie, twin knives strapped beneath her skirt, and murder in her veins.

She watched Elara from afar, eyes glowing like a dying sun.

"...She touched him."

Her fingers curled against the brick wall.

"Unforgivable."

---

[Wail's Walk Home - Internal Monologue]

He walked aimlessly, head down. The snow crunched under his boots.

Why did he go? What did he expect?

Closure?

Justice?

Elara's eyes still held that familiar warmth. That false warmth.

But it didn't sting like it used to.

Maybe... maybe because someone else had filled the space she left behind.

A storm in the form of a girl.

A lunatic angel who called herself his wife.

---

[Back at the Apartment]

The door creaked open.

"Wail!!"

Jingliu flew at him like a missile, hugging his waist tight. "I missed you! You were gone for three hours and 47 minutes and 11 seconds!! That's 226 minutes too long!"

He patted her head tiredly. "...You counted?"

"Of course. A wife always counts."

She looked up suddenly.

"Did she... touch you?"

Wail hesitated.

"...Briefly."

Jingliu didn't move.

Didn't speak.

But her grip tightened.

"Okay..." she said, too softly.

"I'll fix that."

---

[Later That Night - The Bathroom Scene]

Wail stepped into the shower, tired, steam curling around him. When he opened his eyes-

Jingliu was standing behind him.

"AH-!"

He slipped, caught the wall.

"JINGLIU?! What the hell?!"

"I needed to purify you," she said seriously. "You said she touched you. That means Elara germs. I'm eliminating them. Thoroughly."

"...This is insane."

"Wife duty," she said, reaching for shampoo. "Turn around."

---

[Soft Moment - Tension Drops]

But then... she paused.

Her hands trembled slightly as she lathered soap into his hair.

"Wail... do you hate me?"

He looked over his shoulder.

Met her gaze. Saw the storm hiding behind her confident smile.

"No," he said softly.

"Honestly... I think you're the only thing keeping me from falling apart."

Her breath caught.

And in that small, silent bathroom...

She cried.

But just a little.

Because she finally heard what she needed to.

---

[Scene Shift: Elara's Apartment - Night]

Elara was brushing her hair when the lights flickered.

"...Huh?"

A sticky note fell from the mirror.

She picked it up.

Red ink.

"Stay away from my husband. :)"

Her heart stopped.

In the mirror behind her...

A figure moved.

---

[Scene: Morning - Wail's Apartment, Kitchen]

The smell of overcooked eggs lingered in the air. Jingliu wore Wail's button-up shirt-just the shirt-and stood barefoot at the stove.

"Waaaail~! I made breakfast!"

Wail, still groggy, rubbed his eyes. "You... used six eggs."

"Because I love you six times more than yesterday!" she beamed, plating a chaotic mess of eggs, rice, and marshmallows.

He stared at the plate. "You put candy in this?"

"It's a sweetness offering. For your heart."

"...I'm just going to make toast."

Jingliu's smile twitched. She placed the plate down hard.

"Eat what your wife made, darling."

He paused.

Her tone wasn't joking.

---

[Later: Wail's Office Job]

Wail typed away at his monitor when his phone buzzed.

> Jingliu: "Hi honeybun!!!"

Jingliu: "Lunch?"

Jingliu: "I'm outside your window!"

Jingliu: [Image attachment: Jingliu waving from a building ledge]

"WHAT THE-?!"

He leapt up and ran to the window.

Sure enough, she was perched five stories up. In a skirt. Grinning.

He yanked the window open. "JINGLIU?! What the hell are you doing up there?!"

"I missed you!" she giggled. "So I climbed the emergency stairwell. Romantic, right?"

"Get down!"

"I will~ If you promise to let me sleep on your chest tonight!"

"...Fine!! Just don't die!"

She winked. "Too late-I already died for you."

---

[Scene: Wail Returns Home - Dusk]

The hallway was dark. Unnaturally silent.

When he opened the apartment door...

Candles.

Hundreds of flickering candles.

And Jingliu in a red silk nightgown, sitting on the couch.

"Welcome home, my husband~," she purred, swirling red wine in a glass. "Take your shoes off. You've walked in the world too long."

"...Jingliu, what is all this?"

"A ritual," she said solemnly. "To bind you to me."

She held out a black choker.

"Wear this. It's made from the thread of my first hairbrush. And also one drop of my blood."

He stared.

"I'm not putting that on."

She blinked.

Then smiled, slowly.

"I'll put it on you while you sleep, then."

---

[Scene: The Bathtub Confession]

Wail sat in the tub, finally relaxing. The door creaked open.

Jingliu stepped in wordlessly.

He groaned. "Seriously?"

She didn't say anything. Just sank into the water behind him. Her arms snaked around his waist.

"...You're shaking," he murmured.

She pressed her forehead to his back.

"Wail..."

"I don't want anyone else to see you. I don't want anyone else to breathe near you. I want to cut the world in half so I can keep you in my side."

"...That's not love, Jingliu. That's obsession."

"Then I'm obsessed," she whispered. "But you belong to me now. I'm all you have left. And you're all I want."

He turned slightly.

Met her eyes.

"...You're insane."

She nodded with a trembling smile.

"But I'd die for you. And I'd kill for you too."

---

[Later That Night - Bedroom Scene]

Wail lay in bed, eyes half-closed. Jingliu curled against his side like a cat, breathing softly.

"...Hey, Wail," she murmured.

"Hmm?"

"If you ever leave me... I'll cry so hard I'll drown the city."

"...That's not how crying works."

"I'll try harder, then."

He sighed.

"...You're impossible."

She looked up at him with glassy red eyes.

"...Can I have a kiss goodnight?"

He paused.

Then leaned down.

And gently kissed her forehead.

Her entire body froze-

And then melted against him.

"I love you," she whispered.

He didn't answer.

But he pulled her closer.

---

[Post-Credits Scene - Elara's Apartment]

Elara poured herself wine.

The broken window from earlier was boarded up now. Her hands were still trembling.

She looked at her phone again.

Blocked. No messages.

Was it really her? That freak girl?

She moved to the mirror-

And noticed a message written in fog, though the room was cold:

"HE'S MINE. FOREVER."

And Elara walked in.

Her breath hitched.

Something sharp flashed behind the curtain.

---

[Scene: Evening - Apartment Hallway]

The door creaked open, revealing Jingliu standing tall, radiant in a skin-tight, futuristic bodysuit. Pale white, thigh-revealing, with black and teal accents that hugged every curve. Her hair was tied with a blue ribbon. She looked like she'd just stepped out of a sci-fi fantasy.

"Wail~! I'm going out to the store! Do you like my outfit?"

Wail dropped his cup of tea.

"What... the hell are you wearing?"

She blinked innocently. "Something cute! You like it?"

He marched toward her, face red-not just from embarrassment, but something deeper.

"You are not going out like that."

"Why not?" she tilted her head, the faintest smirk forming.

"It's too revealing. Every guy out there will stare."

Her smile widened.

"...So you are jealous."

"I'm protective. You look like a walking fantasy. And I don't want random guys gawking at my-"

He stopped himself.

"...Your?" she asked sweetly, eyes sparkling.

He groaned, covering his face. "Just go change."

"As you command, my husband~"

She practically skipped back to the room.

---

[Scene: Jingliu's Room - Moments Later]

Inside, her room was a shrine.

Pictures of Wail covered the walls-some framed, others simply taped with hearts drawn around them. Photos of him shirtless after a workout. Him in a suit. Him sleeping. Him brushing his teeth.

Mannequins wore his old shirts. Her pillow had a lipstick mark and smelled strongly of his cologne.

Jingliu stood before a mirror now, dressed in a conservative outfit. Full-length dress. No skin showing. A high collar.

"I don't care what I wear," she whispered to her reflection. "As long as it's you who told me to change..."

She kissed one of his photos gently.

"I'll obey you forever, Wail."

---

[Scene: Living Room - Later That Night]

Wail sat on the couch, reading quietly. Jingliu entered, modestly dressed, hands behind her back.

He looked up. Blinked.

"...Better."

She nodded, almost bashfully.

"Wail?" she asked softly. "Does that mean you're... mine, too?"

"...What?"

"You told me not to show my body. That means you care. So... can I ask something selfish?"

He sighed. "Go ahead."

"Can I... sleep in your bed tonight? Just sleep."

He didn't respond for a while.

Then:

"Fine."

She lit up like the stars.

---

[Scene: Midnight - Wail's Bedroom]

She curled beside him, fully clothed, hands neatly tucked.

"...Wail?"

"Hm?"

"I would never let anyone else see your body. Only I should. You're mine."

He turned to look at her.

She looked terrifyingly sincere.

He reached out and gently tapped her forehead with a finger.

"You're hopeless."

She blushed furiously.

Then whispered:

"So you do care..."

---

[Post-Credits Scene - Elara's Dream]

Elara walked through a foggy street. Alone.

Footsteps echoed behind her.

She turned.

Nothing.

Then she heard a whisper:

"You hurt him..."

From the fog emerged a pale figure, long white hair swaying unnaturally.

"He's mine now. Don't ever try to take him back."

Blood dripped from the fog.

Elara screamed-

And woke up in bed, drenched in sweat.

On the window, written in red lipstick:

"I'm watching."

---

[Scene: Midnight - Wail's Bedroom]

Moonlight filtered through the window. Wail lay on his side, facing away.

Behind him, Jingliu sat upright on the bed. Her breath trembled as she stared at his back.

"Wail..." she whispered. "Can I... can I have you... tonight?"

He blinked slowly, then turned to face her. Her eyes shimmered-not with lust, but with something deeper, more desperate.

"It's been so long... I've waited and waited. I love you so much it hurts, Wail..."

He sat up, brow furrowing. "Jingliu. This isn't something you just-"

But she didn't wait.

She moved in, straddling him, hands on his chest. Her voice cracked. "I need to feel you. I need to make you mine. No one else can have you. No one."

Wail caught her wrists gently.

"Stop. You're not thinking clearly."

"I am!" she cried, almost on the verge of tears. "I've always been clear. I want you. I want a future with you... even a child. Please..."

He hesitated. She trembled in his grasp. Not just out of desire-but out of love. Twisted, obsessive, but real.

He exhaled deeply.

"...Alright," he whispered.

Her eyes widened. "You mean it?"

He reached up and gently pulled her in. "Just... be gentle, Jingliu."

---

[Scene fades to black] (no horny but if u want the horny thing say it and i may write it)

---

[Scene: Morning - Bedroom]

Wail awoke to a soft, rhythmic sensation beside him.

He turned.

Jingliu lay on her side, completely bare under the sheets, caressing her belly softly. Her eyes were closed, lips curved in a serene, hopeful smile.

"...Jingliu?"

Her eyes fluttered open. "Mm... morning, darling~"

He blushed. "You're... already thinking about..."

She giggled. "Our child, of course. Maybe a girl with silver hair like mine. Or a boy with your eyes... Should we name her Yue? Or maybe Mei...?"

He sat up. "It's too early for that."

She leaned on his chest, clinging to him like a child. "It's never too early if it's your child..."

He didn't pull away.

---

[Montage: Days Pass]

Jingliu becomes noticeably clingier. She follows Wail everywhere-even when he goes to the bathroom, she waits outside the door humming.

She always talks about the baby. Even though there's no sign of pregnancy yet, she refers to herself as "mama" sometimes just to tease him.

She constantly touches her stomach and says things like, "Be good... daddy's right here."

Her bedroom is now half nursery. Clothes, toys, names on sticky notes everywhere.

---

[Scene: Late Night - Bedroom]

Wail lay in bed again, staring at the ceiling.

Jingliu sat on the edge of the bed, her back turned to him.

"...What's wrong?" he asked.

She didn't answer for a moment.

"...I was afraid I was bothering you."

"What?"

"You've been so quiet lately. Maybe I got... too clingy."

He stared at her. The moonlight made her hair glow softly. Her back looked so small... so fragile.

Without a word, he reached out and grabbed her wrist-firmly, but gently-pulling her toward him.

She gasped as she fell into his chest.

"W-Wail..."

"You're a pain," he muttered. "But you're mine."

Then, softly, he kissed her.

Her eyes widened.

Then closed.

She curled against him like a kitten.

"...I love you," she whispered.

He didn't answer.

But he didn't let go either.

---

[Post-Credits Scene - Unknown Location]

A pair of eyes watched a screen.

On it, grainy footage of Wail and Jingliu-clearly captured through a hidden camera.

A feminine voice muttered coldly:

"...She got to him first."

The screen cracked under her grip.

"Elara is useless... I'll have to take matters into my own hands."
