Chapter 46 - The Power Of The Powerful Electric Button!

Countless arcs of deep blue light were released from the small button, as if countless chains were being unleashed.

It was as though a large number of flower buds were blooming.

In an instant, the electric current enveloped the Rhino Man.

It rushed into his body.

The Rhino Man immediately convulsed all over, his eyes rolling back, and he let out a scream.

Immediately after, the massive electric current vanished.

The Rhino Man fell to the ground with a loud crash.

Boom!

The earth seemed to tremble with the force of the impact.

Occasionally, a mischievous little arc would still emerge from the Rhino Man's body, crackling and seemingly telling of its achievements.

A faint blue smoke rose from his body.

This was Alex's latest button weapon, the powerful electric shock button.

Looking at its effect, Alex was quite satisfied.

Nearby, Ghost Spider was bracing herself, preparing to withstand the Rhino Man's violent attack.

But unexpectedly, that inconspicuous little button erupted with astonishing power.

Directly onto the Rhino Man.

She swallowed a mouthful of saliva, staring blankly at the Rhino Man, who was emitting smoke and a few strands of electric current.

"This... is another kind of button?"

"This power... is too great."

She looked towards Alex.

Just now, due to the battle, she hadn't paid much attention to Alex.

But now, she suddenly realized that the other person looked familiar.

A flash of insight crossed her mind, and she instantly remembered where she'd seen him before.

Back then, she hadn't been wearing a mask and had looked like a normal person.

Her eyes widened.

She never expected that the person she helped at that time would possess such astonishing combat power—able to easily dodge the Rhino Man's attacks—and such powerful technological means.

Originally, she didn't need to intervene at all back then, as Alex could have handled those few lackeys on his own.

She looked at the fallen Rhino Man and smirked, "Finally, it's resolved."

She clapped the dust off her hands, "Time to call it a day!"

She looked at Alex and said, "I'll take care of this guy."

With that, she stepped on the Rhino Man with her small foot, her voice crisp, "I'll send him to jail!"

Alex nodded.

He wasn't very interested in the Rhino Man.

After all, the reason the Rhino Man was so tough was simply because a layer of tough polymer had been forcibly attached to his skin through radiation and genetic modification chemicals.

Alex wasn't particularly intrigued by such methods.

He had his own plans for strengthening his defense.

Besides, he already had two major projects on his hands: one was Wolverine, and the other would soon be the Super Spider.

Both of those were enough for him to research.

The upper limit of the Spider Ability's power was higher than the Rhino Man's, and its functions were far more comprehensive. There was no need for Alex to waste time researching the Rhino Man—sacrificing the essential for the trivial.

Ghost Spider ran up to Alex and extended her small hand, "Nice to meet you, I'm Ghost Spider."

Alex shook her hand, nodded, and politely said, "Nice to meet you too."

Ghost Spider retracted her hand and scratched her head, "I'll send him to jail first, so he won't cause trouble later."

"Goodbye!" She waved her hand and ran toward the Rhino Man.

Ghost Spider took a deep breath, then grabbed the Rhino Man and exerted force, lifting him up directly.

She carried the Rhino Man and grinned at Alex, "Then I'll be off!"

After saying that, she ran off with the Rhino Man in tow.

Soon, the two of them disappeared into the distance.

Alex looked back at his fence and saw that it was mostly undamaged.

He picked up the discarded mechanical button from the ground and returned to his house.

"It's no wonder it's Marvel—danger can exist anywhere. Even when you're sitting at home, you can't avoid some unexpected misfortune."

Alex shook his head.

His gaze returned to the scrapped neurotoxin button. "In the previous design, I didn't consider the situation where some people have thick skin and the steel needle may not penetrate."

"Next, I need to upgrade the neurotoxin button."

"Even when faced with tough skin or exoskeletons, it should be able to pierce with the poison needle."

"But how should I do it?" he muttered, rubbing the neurotoxin button thoughtfully.

With those thoughts, he headed back down to the basement.

In the silent night, far away...

At a certain point on the border between Canada and the United States, there was an endless expanse of grassland—vast and lonely.

Huge searchlights swept across, patrolling the border, on the lookout for illegal immigrants.

When the lights passed by...

Two figures—one large, one small—crawled through the iron fence and entered the United States from Canada.

Taking advantage of the cover of night, they lurked in the tall grass and quickly ran south.

If you looked closely, you would see...

It was Wolverine and his daughter.

They had returned from Canada to the United States.

However, this time they weren't accompanied by the group of mutant children.

Only Wolverine and the little wolf.

The little wolf still wore her serious little face as she walked with a hunched back, speaking quietly, "Where should we go now?"

"We have no idea where Alex is."

Wolverine still looked as rugged as ever, his sharp gaze exuding the unmistakable aura of the wild.

"Let's first find an old friend of mine and see if we can find out what happened at the farm after we left that day."

The little wolf nodded, "Okay."

Because of Charles' last words before his death, Wolverine had been unable to sleep.

Especially with the current bleak situation of mutants, it made him involuntarily think of Charles' words.

During this time, Alex's name kept flashing through his mind.

That name had seemed to take root in his heart, growing deeper and stronger with each passing day.

Eventually, Wolverine decided to return.

And as Wolverine's biological daughter, the little wolf naturally didn't want him to venture alone.

Though Wolverine tried to stop her several times, the little wolf still followed him.

And so, the two of them embarked on their journey back to the United States.

They were determined to find Alex, the man Charles had spoken of.

In their minds, as long as they found the person who could change the fate of mutants...

They could alter the course of history and push the wheel in a different direction!

Desperate situations could still change.

The little wolf murmured, "Can we find him?"

Wolverine clenched his fist. "We will definitely find him."

"Even if we have to tear open this land, we will find him
