I stalked down the hallway, my fist clenching and unclenching as I tried to calm my racing pulse. How had she done this? How had that slip of a woman backed me into such a tight corner?
Seraphina's ultimatum echoed in my mind. Either free her from her confinement or she would tell my brothers about our intimate encounter when I was drugged. The thought of Kaelen and Ronan discovering how I'd begged for her touch made my skin crawl with humiliation.
I found my brothers in Kaelen's office. Kaelen was hunched over his desk reviewing documents while Ronan lounged on the leather sofa, flipping through a magazine.
"We need to talk," I announced, closing the door firmly behind me.
Kaelen didn't look up. "If this is about the Northeast border dispute—"
"It's about Seraphina."
That got their attention. Both brothers straightened, their eyes locking onto mine.
"What about her?" Kaelen asked, his voice tight.
