United Fear Series
Lilak:
Regret. Regret is repentance. Repentance is remorse. My liabilities, they collapse down t0 my faults. I used to believe those feelings were abnormal, but I was wrong. In the end, no matter the regret, the repentance, or the remorse; I am guilty. And I regret it all.
Bobbi:
How sins are recognized within a person is through their actions, their morals, perhaps even their expressions. That's how we know. If I break it down even more, I question what sins are, how they are recognized. There's a definition of what a sin is, that definition is based on substance. A sin to love a monster. A creature so beautiful, you can't help but cry. A creature so wicked his eyes are drowning in wickedness. The way we know is based on that substance, on that definition.
Innocence, it's the beginning; swirling around in simplistic eyes of the newly born. When a child enters this world, whether there was corruption in the making, what becomes of it is innocence. A baby cries out of instinct to call upon its mother. Then, the baby grows from infancy to childhood where it explores and learns of the flawed reality it is dwelling. From childhood comes adolescence, creating an environment chosen for itself, choosing between the good or bad decisions. Lastly is adulthood, having learned of corruption, packed with sins which always becomes the end. Except for him, his beginning and his ending are the same. Born of innocence, died of sin, the middle filled with wicked.
