Chapter 1 - welcome to the garden

It was a fateful, rainy day—one that would change everything. A life-altering moment was about to unfold for a young girl named Annie. She had just entered high school, filled with hope and a longing for friendship. But what she received instead was betrayal—like a knife in the back.

The day had started out fine. Annie finally gathered the courage to approach the girls in her class. They welcomed her at first, smiling and chatting as if she truly belonged. But what Annie didn't know was that behind those friendly faces, something dark was brewing. They were already planning to do horrible things behind her back.

Unaware of their true intentions, young Annie followed their instructions and entered the dark storage room. Before she could react, they slammed the door shut behind her, trapping her inside. The room was pitch black, and her screams for help echoed off the walls. No one came—until three hours later, when a security guard finally noticed and freed her.

Annie was traumatized. She began to question whether it was ever safe to speak to anyone again without being punished for it. When the teacher gently asked who was responsible, she couldn't bring herself to say their names. All she could whisper was, "I got a letter… someone said they wanted to meet me here." The teachers exchanged puzzled glances, but seeing the fear in her eyes, they chose not to push her any further. This girl had already endured enough.

The girls who had trapped Annie smiled quietly to themselves when they heard she hadn't revealed their names. Deep down, they knew they were the reason this young girl now struggled to trust anyone. And yet, they felt no guilt—only satisfaction.

Annie didn't return to school for an entire week. She was still recovering from the trauma, both physically and emotionally. But while she tried to heal, the girls—Rose, Jenny, and Lily—waited. They knew she would come back eventually, and when she did, they were ready to strike again.

A week later, just as expected, Annie returned to school. And the girls were quick to act.

This time, they didn't lure her into a dark room. Instead, they cornered her in a quiet hallway, grabbing her roughly and demanding money. Annie refused. That answer only fueled their rage. They began to beat her—punches and kicks thrown without mercy.

They didn't stop until the sound of approaching footsteps startled them. A guard was making his rounds. Panicking, the girls fled, leaving Annie bleeding and barely conscious on the floor. The guard, recognizing her immediately, rushed to her side.

Once again, it was the same guard who came to her rescue—this time calling for urgent help. Annie was taken to the hospital, her fragile body bearing the aftermath of cruelty she never deserved

Annie had reached her breaking point. Why me? she thought. Why am I the only one suffering like this? The pain, the isolation, the constant fear—it all became too much. Dark thoughts clouded her mind, and for a moment, she even considered ending her own life.

But then… she remembered her family. The warmth of her parents, the love they gave her unconditionally. That love pulled her back from the edge.

Fueled by a newfound resolve, Annie decided it was time to fight back.

She began by telling her parents everything—every cruel detail, every wound. Horrified, they stood by her and urged her to speak up. Annie then went to the school staff, hoping for justice. But her words fell on deaf ears.

The bullies—Rose, Jenny, and Lily—were no ordinary students. Their families held influence, money, and power. The teachers, aware of the consequences, chose silence over justice.

Annie stood there, heart heavy, realizing that the battle ahead would be far from fair.

But Annie didn't let her hope be shattered. Instead, something ignited within her—a fire that began as a spark and quickly grew into a burning flame.

She had been hurt, silenced, and ignored. But not anymore.

With clenched fists and a heart full of resolve, Annie made a silent vow to herself: I will get stronger. I will not let them break me again. She knew the road ahead wouldn't be easy, but she was no longer the same frightened girl who had once walked into that dark storage room.

The next time they tried to hurt her… she would be ready.
