(The Next Day)
Josh, Kate's police boyfriend drove to Kate's house and parked right in front of their house.
He has been trying her number since yesterday but it wasn't going through and he decided to come check on her.
He came down from the car and went straight to the front of the house. Just as he got closer to the house he noticed something was wrong.
He noticed the door was ajar which hasn't happened before and he knew immediately that something is not right.
He pulled out his gun in defense and move cautiously towards the house. He got to the door and entered looking around.
He found the presence of no one as he inspects the place but with the condition he met the room, he knew there was an intruder.
He searched all around the house but found no one and he wondered who could've done this.
He tried Kate's number one more time and yet got the same response which got him more worried.
He remembered Kate telling him about a school project she was going the other day they were together.
'Maybe that's where she is' he thought.
He remembered he once collected one of Kate's friend's number, so he scrolled through his phone and dialed the number.
After a few rings Abby picked the call.
"Hello" Abby answered.
"Hey, Good morning" Josh greeted as he heard her voice and he could tell she just woken up.
"Morning" she replied.
"Do you know who is on the line?" he asked.
"Of course. I'm sorry your call woke up me up" she replied.
"I'm sorry about that" he replied.
"That's alright. Hmm, have you heard from Kate? Or is she there with you?" she asked.
"No she is not. Actually that's the reason I called, I've been trying her line but it's not reachable"
"I thought she was supposed to be with you guys" He said getting more worried.
"She was. In fact we went on the trip together but since yesterday we haven't seen or heard from her?" she replied.
"I don't understand. What exactly is going on?" He asked.
"Actually, yesterday she challenged some very dangerous guys at school and they all went to the woods together"
"Since then we haven't seen her" She replied worriedly.
"What about these guys?" He asked.
"We haven't seen any of them either. We thought maybe she went home on her own" she replied.
"Have you checked her house?" she added.
"I'm in front of her house. She's not here, no one is here" Josh replied.
"Where are you now?" he asked.
"At home" she replied.
"So, you're actually saying she indeed missing?" He said.
"I don't know what to believe, Emily and I are going out very soon to go search for her" she said.
"Send me the details of these guys she challenged and everything you know about them"
"And also keep me apprise of any update" he added.
"Okay, I will" she replied.
"Alright thanks" he replied then ended the call.
After ending the call, he entered back into his vehicle and started hitting the steering angrily.
"What the hell is wrong with you Kate?"
"Why are you so stubborn?"
"Where the hell are you now?"
He thought of his next move then head back to the precinct to make some findings.

Just as the sun was rising from the horizon, Evan could be seen sleeping on the ground in the lonely woods.
He was completely naked. His clothes must have torn during the transformation which he has no memory of.
He heard a sound from afar then he woke up immediately and found himself naked and no sign of his clothes.
He noticed that something has changed in him. He could see from afar clearly without stressing himself.
Everything seems heightened and he could feel himself stronger.
He felt like something was unlocked in him. His hearing was heightened as well and he could heard some voices heading towards his position.
He looked around to find something to cover himself but couldn't find anything.
The footsteps was getting closer so he has no choice but to hide behind a tree. He listened very well to their footsteps and he realized that the footsteps stopped.
"I know you're there Son. It's alright you can come out now" John called out.
"Dad?" Evan said and came out as he recognized the voice to be his father.
"Here, put this on" John said throwing him some clothes. He picked it and started wearing it.
"How did you find me?" Evan asked still surprised at how he found him so easily..
"It's my job to find people, so I track your route" John replied.
"Hurry up, let's head back to the camp" John added and he looked up at him immediately.
"Never, I'm never going back there Dad" Evan said angrily.
"Those people tried to kill me. I know even know why I'm talking to you too"
"You are a mercenary. You are sent to kill Kate and her family and you just went along with that?"
"This is unbelievable. I can't believe you'll agree to such thing"
"Who are you Dad?" Evan said in disbelief.
"There are a lot of things you don't understand. I can explain everything to you" John said.
"I don't want to understand Dad. I don't want to understand the reason why you want to kill an innocent family" Evan replied.
"Innocent? You really think your friend is truly Innocent, huh?"
"She killed three of our kind, werewolves. Werewolves that are ten times stronger than she is"
"She killed them all by herself, do you really think she's innocent?" John asked.
"My question to you is, how well do you know your friend, Kate?" He asked again and Evan couldn't say anything.
"Where is Kate now?" Evan asked.
"We can't find her but she's still alive. She's wounded and we have no idea where she is" John replied.
"Look son, we are not the bad ones here. Just come back with me and I promise, I'll explain everything to you" he added.
"What about those maniac that tries to kill me?" Evan asked.
"I think you already made yourself clear with the news I heard and no one will dare come against you" John replied proudly.
"C'mon boy, let's get going"

The vampire leader, Xander, has been waiting for hours for news about the hunter. The hunter was supposed to be woken up yesterday and he has sent some men to make sure that doesn't happen.
He still hasn't heard from any of them which make him more worried.
If he hasn't heard from them then that means the hunter is awake but he wasn't ready to accept that just yet.
His patience is growing thin and he couldn't wait around any longer so he called on all the vampires around.
The vampires all gather around to hear what Xander has to say.
"There is trouble coming and it's coming pretty fast. If we don't act fast to prevent this then we are all doomed forever"
"You must have heard the rumors about the hunter and right we still haven't heard from our people"
"There's a possibility that the hunter is again among the living ones" he said.
"According to Leon, who locates this family, one of them is in this city and we have to find her immediately"
"I need you all to go out there and bring me this girl. Her name is Kate Williams and I want her today" He concluded.
"That's going to have to be in the night because it's still daytime" one of them said.
"You know we can't expose ourselves in the sun or else we will burn" he added.
"I really don't care. You will do exactly as I say. I want this girl and I want her today before sunset" Xander said.
"Okay but I still think we have the best chanc…" he couldn't complete his statement as Xander vamp-speed to his front then plunge his hand into his heart and pulled out his heart.
This action took others by surprise and was scared.
"I ask you to do something, I expect you to do it without complain"
"It's an order, not a request" he said glaring at each one of them.
"Anybody else have something to say?" he asked but no one dare say anything at that moment.
"Good. Now get to work immediately"
