Elian
Raina strolled alongside me, her scent whispering comfort, her eyes watchful. The garden stretched before us, a serene oasis untouched by the bustling courtyard. Sunlight danced between the leaves, casting tropical patterns on the sprawling lawn. A soft breeze carried the scent of jasmine, mixing with Raina's calming influ-ence.
"Tell me about my Alpha, Raina. Why is it the most respected in the world?" I asked, turning to face her. "The Alpha of the pack holds immense power, Elian." Raina's eyes reflected a deep understanding, a wisdom gained from years of service. "We bow to their strength, their wisdom, their ability to lead us, protect us. Your alpha... she's the most powerful still alive." Raina smiled, a soft, secretive smile.
Raina continued, "She's fought alongside me in battles, seen incredible acts of valor. But what ignites awe among my pack... is her loyalty. Leaders come and go, but Aurelia? She remains steadfast for those she deems worthy. You're fortunate, Elian. You have her devotion."
Raina's gaze lingered on me, her scent warm and reassuring. "She's unique" she murmured, "has a strength unmatched." She paused, studying my face. "You've brought something out in her, Elian. I've never seen her so... protective." She smiled, her voice soft. "But you're an omega, aren't you? Rare, special." Her hand reached out, touching my neck, the mating mark vivid. "An alpha's mate. It must have been... intense."
Raina's hand lingered on my neck, her scent chaotic. I pulled away, my eyes darting to meet hers. "Did she have other... other partners before me?" I stammered, my face flushing a deep red. I looked at the ground, my hands insecurely fiddling with the hem of my shirt. "There was no one before you, Elian" Raina replied, her voice gentle yet firm. She leaned in, her eyes holding me captive.
Raina's eyes softened, her scent a gentle breeze around me. "Aurelia has never taken a mate before you, Elian. Your scent is unique, something primal deep in her, nurtured by centuries of waiting. She's never experienced the... need, the absolute hunger she feels with you. A need that reaches into her essence, her wolf."
Tristan's presence was sudden, his scent a dark cloud in the garden. "Excuse me, beta" he growled, eyes flash-ing gold, standing too close for comfort. Raina's body tensed, her scent shifting to a harder, colder state. She positioned herself between me and Tristan, her voice low and commanding. "Step away, Tristan. This is not your business." Tristan bared his teeth, his scent manic, his gaze hungry and relentless.
Raina's stance widened, her scent hardening to steel. "You dare defy our alpha?" she hissed, her canines extending, protecting me from Tristan's hungry gaze. The air was thick with tension, a clash of dominance. Tristan smirked, his eyes locked with Raina's. "I'm not defying, I'm... negotiating" he countered, his scent laced with the pungent aroma of lust. "Aurelia doesn't mind, does she?"
Raina's lips twisted into a sneer. "The alpha is gone" Tristan said, prowling closer. His eyes were molten as he drank me in. I felt a prickling on my skin, a unwanted warmth stirring. Raina took a purposeful step towards the alpha, her scent poisonous, a silent warning. "I'm apprehending your challenge" she declared. Her body morphed, limbs elongating into sharp claws, bone popping out.
Raina's shift was swift and brutal, a flash of liquid silver. She snarled, baring her canines, claws diagonally raised. Her growl resounded like thunder. "I will not permit your disrespect." Tristan sneered, his lips curling, dropping to all fours, teeth bared. "Your presence stinks, female" he spat, stance wide, his growl echoing hers. Their eyes locked, a battle of pure dominance. His canines glinted, her claws measured.
Panic surged through me as Raina and Tristan began to circle each other, their bodies tense, ready to pounce. I knew I had to act. I turned swiftly and darted into the forest, my heart pounding in my ears. I could hear the vicious growls and snarls behind me, not daring to look back. The forest floor was soft and damp beneath my feet as I ran, ducking branches that tried to snare me.
I curled up in the fork of a towering oak, wrapping my arms around my knees, pressing my forehead into them. Memories flooded back, the dull throb of pain a familiar pulse from the days when I couldn't outrun my past. A glimpse of my younger self, a scrawny, timid, staying away from the pack, too afraid to show my true nature lest they scorn me for being different.
I remained there, hidden, as the first shower of rain fell, the drops splashing around me, burying me in the earthy scent of the forest. I can't run, not really. I can't rely on my physical prowess, and my scent, my alluring omega scent keeps drawing the wrong attention. It's a curse, a burden, that my mind wants to escape.
🐺
Darkness encroached as I woke up, shivering against the cold, my body thrust painfully against the rough bark of the tree. A symphony of night creatures ignited around me, my heart pounding erratically. I risked looking down, my breath catching in my chest as I took in the surroundings. The drop was too high, the ground glistening with tiny, menacing pebbles, and I felt a surge of panic rise within me.
A shadowy figure appeared below, moving silently towards me. Panic surged, my heart hammering as the figure came into view. But the scent... that scent... it was mesmerizing, electric. A wolf emerged, sleek and silver, her claws crimson in the moonlight. My heart stopped. I recognized those eyes, that scent. "Cellaria" I breathed, chills prickling my skin. She stared up at me, her tail wagging, eyes pleading.
Cellaria's growl echoed through the night, the sound vibrating in my chest. She leaped, landing effortlessly on the branch beside me. Her scent was fierce, a mix of predator and protector.
Cellaria nosed my leg, urging me to climb on her back. I hesitantly complied, wrapping my arms around her silver fur. She leapt down, landing gracefully on the forest floor. A chill ran down my spine as her powerful muscles moved beneath me. "We'll be home soon, Elian" Cellaria's voice echoed in my mind as our journey began.
Cellaria's fur was soft and warm beneath my fingertips as she trotted towards the villa. The night air was cool, the moon glowing brightly above. I rested my head on her neck, her scent encircling me, calming. We reached the villa, the guards bowing to Cellaria and ushering us in. Raina and Tristan were still nowhere to be seen. "They're..." Cellaria started, her ears pinned back. "Still fighting..."
Cellaria padded in, her claws clicking on the marble floor. Tired from the journey, I let my head loll against her warm neck. As we reached the alpha's chambers, a burst of warmth met us, a fire crackling in the background. The scent of Rosewood and amber filled the air. "Lower your hood, I want to see you, Elian," Cellaria's voice echoed in my mind. "Thank you for saving me, Cellaria" I murmured. "Always, Elian."
Cellaria's form shifted beneath me, her muscular body elongating, fur giving way to smooth skin, silver fur replaced by sleek raven hair. I slid off, my body melting into her embrace as Aurelia materialized before me, her scent overwhelming, her hands framing my face. "Elian" she breathed, her voice a sensual growl. "I am disappointed in you" she admonished, her pupils dilating, her the icy grays irises burning like fire.
"I'm sorry" I stammered, my eyes glistening. "I was scared. I didn't know what to do." I bit my lip, my body trembling. "I couldn't stay and watch." Aurelia pulled me closer, her scent wrapping around me like a warm, comforting blanket. "I'm here now" she whispered, "You're safe." Her hands trailed down my back, fingers splayed wide, caressing, possessive. "But you must understand, Elian. Obedience is everything."
Aurelia effortlessly lifted me, cradling me in her arms. I nuzzled her chest, comforted by her warmth, her steady heartbeat. She carried me to our bed, lowering me gently. The mattress was soft, engulfing me in a cloud of luxury. I shuffled to the side, making room for her. She planted a gentle kiss on my forehead, her scent encapsulating me, a lullaby.
