Episode 1 - "The Awakening of Death"
Scene 1: The World in Ruins
(Location: Various parts of the Earth - Dusk turning to Night)
The camera slowly moves over ruined landscapes — collapsed skyscrapers, roads cracked and overgrown, and abandoned cars covered in dust.
The air is thick with tension, and strange growls echo in the distance.
In a devastated city, monstrous creatures roam freely — towering, twisted beings with glowing red eyes and mangled bodies.
Groups of hunters with makeshift weapons fight these beasts, but their efforts seem futile.
A giant, horned creature crushes a hunter with a sickening crunch.
A news broadcast flickers on a cracked screen inside a dilapidated shop:
Reporter (voice trembling): "These monsters... they appear without warning... killing everything in their path... The hunters are powerless... Is this the end of humanity?"
A scream cuts off the broadcast, followed by eerie static.
The camera pulls back, showing the scope of destruction, as a dark fog starts spreading through the city.
Scene 2: The Mysterious Temple
(Location: Swarakshas Temple - Midnight)
The temple stands ominously on a hill, surrounded by twisted, dead trees. Its walls are covered with intricate carvings depicting fierce battles between divine beings and demons.
A lone police officer, Officer Arjun, stands guard outside the iron gate, his face pale despite his attempts to stay calm.
Nearby, crows caw violently, as if warning of impending doom.
Arjun whispers to himself:
Arjun: (shaky voice) "Why do they make me guard this cursed place? Nothing but bad omens since I got here..."
He glances at his watch. Midnight. A sudden chill makes him shiver.
The wind picks up, howling like a wounded animal, and the temple bells start to clang, despite no visible movement.
Arjun grips his flashlight tighter.
Suddenly, he hears a loud, echoing crack from above.
Scene 3: The Arrival of the Death Gate
Arjun slowly looks up. The sky above the temple swirls unnaturally, clouds turning pitch black.
A suffocating darkness spreads outward from the temple's spire, crawling like a living entity.
The temperature plummets, and frost forms on the iron gate.
Arjun's breath becomes visible, and his teeth chatter.
A faint whisper fills the air, like countless voices murmuring in agony.
Whisper: (distorted) "Awake... Devour... End... The prophecy... Unleashed..."
Arjun stumbles backward as a glowing red eye appears in the sky, surrounded by writhing shadows.
A black portal starts forming, pulsating with energy, as twisted, clawed hands push against its edges as if trying to break through.
Arjun drops his flashlight. The light flickers before going out completely.
Darkness engulfs everything.
Scene 4: The Descent into Madness
Arjun scrambles to pick up his walkie-talkie, his hands trembling violently.
The whispers grow louder, interspersed with shrill screams as if hundreds of souls are trapped within the portal.
He frantically calls for backup:
Arjun: (voice cracking) "Central! Central! Do you hear me? Something... something's here! The Death Gate... it's real! It's opened! The prophecy is true!"
Vikram (over static): "Arjun, what the hell are you talking about? Stay calm!"
Arjun gasps as shadowy tendrils start crawling down the temple walls, leaving dark, scorched marks.
A distorted, monstrous face emerges from the portal, its red eye glaring down.
Arjun's mind begins to fracture, his breathing rapid and shallow.
He starts to mutter incoherently:
Arjun: "No... no... not like this... I can't die like this... I don't want to die... not in agony... I... I..."
He starts clawing at his face, trying to tear away the creeping shadows that seem to latch onto his skin.
Scene 5: Unbearable Despair
Arjun's sanity crumbles as he hears a voice directly in his mind:
Voice (deep and cruel): "You will be the first to fall... your soul will feed the gate."
Arjun drops to his knees, sobbing, and presses the gun to his temple, his hands shaking.
Vikram (frantic): "Arjun! What's going on? Talk to me!"
Arjun lets out a piercing scream, his pupils dilated, before whispering:
Arjun: "It's over... it's all over... I... I'd rather die than be devoured..."
A gunshot echoes through the night. The walkie-talkie crackles with static as Vikram's voice fades.
The camera slowly pans to Arjun's lifeless body, his face twisted in a mixture of fear and relief.
Scene 6: The Awakening Complete
The portal above the temple fully opens, and the red eye blinks slowly, like it's savoring the chaos.
A deep, guttural laughter fills the air, and more shadow creatures crawl out, their forms twisted and nightmarish.
A cloaked figure stands at the temple entrance, grinning with satisfaction.
Cloaked Figure: (whispering) "The beginning of the end... Death itself has awakened."
The temple bell clangs once more, but now the sound is distorted, like a death knell.
