Alan approached the man hesitatingly, a strange confusion riding over him. While the man's eyes locked onto Alan, a mix of emotions swirled over him. As he gazed into those familiar eyes, he felt an inexplicable sense of connection.
"You're... " His throat was filled with emotion. He cleared his throat, tried again "You look... Familiar."
He finally gathered the courage, and asked "What's your name?"
"A-alan... "Alan said hesitatingly, he still didn't knew what was with the man.
Without a word, the man pulled Alan into a warm embrace. Tears rolled down his cheeks as he whsipered, "You're coming with me. I'll give you a better life, my son."
Alan was flabbergasted by the man's words. "W-what do you mean by my son?" He asked.
"You look just like my son named Alan who went missing from the hospital bed. And I know for sure that you are my son! Come with me, I'll raise you in utmost luxury."
Alan's life replayed before his eyes. He still remembered his mom and his dad. Could they be... His fake parents? His heart was beating rapidly, and he still didn't know what to do.
Flashback
'Mommy! Where are you going?" The little boy asked his mother with a hint of sadness in his eyes.
"Honey." His mother started. "I'm going to make a lot of money. So that I can give you a better life, and lots of toys and candies."
"When will you come back, mommy?" He asked.
"I don't know. When I will have a lot of money, the first thing I'll do is to come back."
But she never came back. After going to Tokyo to earn money, she got in an affair with a rich man. And she forgot about her son, who was suffering.
Back to present....
"But she never came back." Alan thought to himself. "I think.... She was..... Not my real mother?"
"Alan." The man started. "I know it might be difficult for you to digest this. But it's true, whatever I'm saying is true. By the way, my name's Sam Hills."
