"Hello?" I ask, stupidly. The man tilts his head, hesitates, then says my name, "Novasyn.." I'm confused now, triggered, maybe even upset. "How does he know my name?" I ask to myself mentally, "How does he know who I am when I don't know who he is?" The boy steps closer and says, "We've been waiting so long, we can finally fight back now that you're free." Now I am very confused, to the point I feel like he's speaking a foreign language and I'm a stupid 6 year old. "Excuse me? You don't know me, you must be mistaken." I defend. "You're wrong, your power may be the key to saving the world, and we need your help Novasyn." He tells me. "How do you know of my powers? Of my curse? Of my existence??" I demand. "I should take you to her, she'll explain everything better than I would, I promise I won't hurt you, my name is Sir James," He says. I don't know why, but I felt like I had to trust him. I plan to take his hand, when I remember my curse, and though he's a stranger to me, I don't want to hurt him, for by one touch with another human being, I involuntarily absorb that unfortunate victim's blood on immediate contact, most likely to kill them if I don't let go, and this is very hard to snap out of right away. Instead, I just follow right behind James. He brings me to a different palace, but instead of cracking ivory bricks, it's thorn adorned black stone walls. "Welcome to the Crimson Castle," James announces. He opens the doors and I walk in, and before me is a young woman with deep crimson hair tied in a ponytail, red eyes, pale skin, muted dust Rose torn dress and black wings of a bat. "Princess Scarlette, I found her, I'd like to introduce you, to Novasyn of the Prophecy," James says to her. She smiles and says, "It's really you, after all this time.." I interrupt her, "What am I doing here? What prophecy? Why am I being treated like a goddess and not a weapon??" Scarlette's eyes widen before she sighs and explains, "I should've assumed you'd be unsure of what's going on, let me tell you.
