Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 - Senju Akira

A young boy no older than five, could be seen in a daze on a training field, late at night. On closer inspection, you could see that he was actually refining his chakra control.

This boy was no other than Senju Akira, twin brother of Senju Tsunade, a direct male descendent of the First Hokage and also a transmigrator. Yes, that's right. He was a transmigrator. In his first life, Akira was an ordinary guy, with an ordinary job and the like. He died when he was only 16, but he didn't really mind much as his parents also died the previous year, and as hard as it is to admit, his life didn't really have any value anymore.

It was a car accident. Nothing unusual about it. But, just as he thought that he could join his parents, he got reincarnated into Naruto, as Tsunade's older twin brother.

Though Akira liked anime and manga, he really only read the Naruto manga once when he was 13, and he couldn't recall all the plots and deaths.

But according to his memory, at this time Hashirama had not died yet, and much less Mito and Tobirama. Though it was speculated in the fandom that his grandfather and grand uncle would pass soon, he really didn't wish they would. If his math was correct, then the war would have already started though, as shown with all the injured shinobi coming in daily. No one in their family ever mentioned it to him or Tsunade either. He guessed that they didn't want the children to know war at such a young age, unlike certain Uchiha.

As for how his life was, Hashirama gave him the same spoiled 'prince' treatment as Tsunade, and boy did he like it. Of course, with his older mind, he didn't earn a gambling habit as Tsunade did. Reincarnated as a baby, he genuinely loved his family, not as anime characters, but as real people. But again, as much as he loved his sister, Akira really didn't understand how a five year old could already have a gambling habit.

Tobirama was kind of like that tsundere brother, though he occasionally (very occasionally) showed his soft side. He often helped Tsunade and Akira in training, and after just one lesson, Akira greatly improved. Or maybe that's just his Senju bloodline kicking in.

Mito was just your average grandmother, kind, doting, caring, though a lot stronger than your average grandmother, no, average ninja.

As for his parents, their names were never explicitly revealed, nor were their personalities, but they were nothing he would he would ever imagine. It was kind of seeing an older version of Minato and Kushina, or maybe Minato and Kushina are the younger version. His mother, named Senju Tsuyoshi, was just like Kushina - fiery, short-tempered, but kind and caring to those she loves. Akira's father, Senju Hanaku, was calm, cool, and highly perceptive - complete opposites.

Right now, after a morning of being pampered by his grandfather, resulting in the God of Shinobi to be scolded by his own child (god bless him), Akira decided that he should put his ridiculous talent to use and train.

Akira would be lying straight to your face if he said he didn't have a cheat. Sure, he didn't have a system of the like but if you considered being a Senju and grandchild of the Hashirama Senju not a cheat, then he'd seriously suggest you to go to a psychiatrist.

Being part of a practically superhuman family sure had it's perks.

In any case, he was refining his chakra as stated before, and he recently found out that his chakra nature was lightning - just like his sister's. Apart from having equally ridiculous strength, his talent in chakra control was undeniable but he obviously still needed to train it.

Akira was focusing in his training so much, that he didn't notice when a certain mischievous, gambling little sister approached from the shadows...

With a childish pout, she thought, 'Nii-chan is always training. He rarely even plays with me anymore! Let's give him a surprise!'

With a smile that was not a smile, and would remind anyone of the devil himself, the little girl crept towards Akira silently.

Unfortunately for her, Akira did not let his training dull his senses, which was shown when she leapt for him, he merely turned to the side to dodge, resulting in Tsunade to crash head-first into the ground.

This resulted into a pouting and angry Tsunade with her cheeks all puffed up and a big red bump on her forehead.

"Is this how you greet your beloved older brother Tsuna? After all these years..." Akira sighed exaggeratedly with overdramatic flair.

"...It's been only an hour since I last saw you idiot." Speechless and done with his theatrics, Tsunade muttered under her breath.

"How rude! Is this how you talk to your seniors Tsuna? Maybe I should teach you some manners..." With another exaggerated sigh, Akira lamented about his cute but ferocious sister.

Tsunade's face turned just the same shade as a bright, ripe tomato, "Shut up! You're only twelve minutes older! Twelve!"

"To be exact, it's twelve minutes and twenty-four seconds." he stated matter-of-factly.

Now Tsunade's face somehow became even redder, "Why do you train so much anyways? All day it's just train, train and train!"

'Because sometime into the future, there'll be a bunch of sh!t going down and a bunny goddess retconned into the story at the last second.' Akira thought dryly, but of course he didn't say it out loud.

Instead, he countered a question with his own, "Why are you here? Should you not be at home being taught a lesson for gambling away ten-thousand Ryo by okaa-san?"

He's certain that his younger twin sister's face is now darker than vermillion now, "Urusai! Would you stop talking about that? Don't dodge the question! Why do you train so much? You don't even make time for me anymore!"

Surprised at her outburst, Akira's eyes softened a bit as he spoke gently, "Sorry Tsuna. I'll won't train for a week, alright?"

Tsunade slowly nodded her head at this, and asked once again, "But why have you been training so much lately."

With a teasing smirk, Akira gasped and replied, "Oh my goodness! Did your really forget? We're entering the academy soon! If we fail the entrance exam, that'll be disgracing the Senju bloodline and the First Hokage!"

Her face returned to a shade of a ripe tomato, stammering, she shouted, "Of course I remember! It's just that, uh, we'll pass no problem! There's no reason to worry at all!"

"Sure. I'm absolutely sure that your lazy bum will pass." Akira drawled, voice dripping with sarcasm.

"BAKAYAROU!" And now Tsunade's face was back to the same shade of dark vermillion as she screeched at Akira.

With a ever-teasing smirk and a joyful laugh, Akira turned tail and ran away into the forest, with a fuming and infuriated Tsunade chasing after him with an iron fist, screaming bloody murder. Their laughter and promises of punishment echoed around the forest, seemingly brightening the otherwise gloomy forest.

As this was happening, nearby, a person disguised in a surprisingly good but nevertheless embarrassing tree outfit was watching, all the while holding a bulky camera and snapping pictures furiously of two five year olds chasing each other around. Who was this? Ah, well, you see it was the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama. Sometimes, he would mutter phrases like:

"...So cute," or "...This one'll go in the album" or the occasional "I wish my brother was like that..."

If one did not know that this person was the apparent 'God of Shinobi', they might think he was a stalker and call whatever authorities they have here. His ridiculous disguise only made it worse. Honestly, no one might recognise it was the Hokage.

While he was clicking away at his camera, a certain brother of his stomped over, although he was too absorbed into his stalkerish behaviour to notice. Said brother then proceeded to pull Hashirama's ear, with an iron grip.

"Ow, ow, ow, ow!"

"Idiot! Did you forget about the meeting you called?"

"Huh? What meeting?"

Tobirama could only facepalm and sigh a long-suffering sigh, "Honestly, I don't even bother anymore."

Then, with one hand still yanking on his brother's ear, he dragged him towards the Hokage's Office. Hashirama blinked twice then shrugged because he really did forget about the meeting once he saw his two adorable grandchildren in the forest.

Meanwhile, with Akira and Tsunade, Tsunade eventually tired out and Akira followed suit soon after. They lay panting and huffing in the same place where they started.

"See Akira, I'm *pant* not lazy *pant* at all..." Then she fell asleep.

With a roll of his eyes, he stood up and lifted Tsunade onto his back, then started trudging his way back home.

When he reached their house, he found a note left by their parents, saying that they're off on a mission and there's dinner on the table. Akira brought Tsunade to her bed, but she wouldn't let go of his arm, even as she slept. Casting a fond look towards her, he carefully exchanged his arm for a soft toy before tiptoeing out of her room.

Their parents often left on missions, but when they were home they would always make time for them. His father would train and spar with him, and always gave helpful advice. His mother would scold him whenever he did something wrong, and she had a short temper, but she always cared and loved for Akira and Tsunade both. Akira wanted to save them as well as Hashirama and Tobirama, but as of now, he couldn't even win a spar against his father who was clearly holding back, let alone save anyone else.

Akira was only five, so he still had time, but he estimated that the First Great Ninja War would start sometime now, and his grandfather's death would follow soon after. Even if he got stronger before Hashirama died, there was no way that Akira would be stronger than him. If Akira wasn't stronger, then how could save him then?

This thought saddened him, but it also fueled his determination to not let his parents die later on, or let Nawaki, his unborn little brother, and Dan Kato, his sister's lover, die either. If he couldn't save the First and Second Hokage, then he would save everyone else, even if it cost him his own life.
