Chapter 1: Dark feelings.
Her world had been calm since she was given birth to, her peace had been there since her star appeared on earth. She believes glory and story are not to be mixed up, where illusions are far appreciated from reality.
Every words she speaks now sounds like noise, an empty tank full of voidness. Every steps she takes are now considered fetish and every breath she makes gives a strong foul smell.
The hatred had been too much since her world had tumbled.
Frances was lost in thought, in thought of her own world. She was an innocent woman treading upon life with ease and patience. She doesn't have any enemy, nor rebellious. So, why on earth would she experience this?
Marcus, whom she had planned to spend her entire life with had also betrayed her. Since the death of her parents, Amelia Chris and Jake Lin, everyone who had loved her begin to show her their true color. Everyone had pretended in one way or the other just to see her downfall.
"Arggrrrrhhhh" she screamed in tears, only her in the room she had been hiding since everyone had begun despising her. "Mum, Dad, if you didn't leave me all alone in this wicked world, I wouldn't have being trampled upon, Charlotte wouldn't have stolen my boyfriend. I had trusted and chosen her as my best friend, but she had to pay me back with betrayal?".
She kept on weeping and lamenting. "She even had to frame me at my workplace, every of my colleague at work has given me names of a thief, bitch and whore, on something I didn't do".
"Every of my efforts at my workplace, she made them turn to vain". she continued weeping. "When I told Marcus that I wasn't the one who did it, he never believed me, he said he could not touch a promiscuous woman, nor believe a fraudster like me. Like how on earth did I dupe him? of his trust in me or of his love for me? I was the one being betrayed".
Loud noise echoed the room, a man she had spent all her life loving for a good 5 years. Though, she had never let him disvirgin her.

Even when he asks for it. She would always tell him "Aren't we getting married? I am not ready for it now". and he always respects her decision. Unknowingly, he had been having an affair with her best friend, Charlotte. Not only was the affair known to his parents but her colleague at work, Martha, whom she shares every of her life stories with, know of her boyfriend cheating on her.
She found out it was a planned work among the two cunning lovers, only getting close to her because of her parent's wealth and riches.
Martha has always been jealous of her, she only knew when everyone pointed her out as the mastermind behind leaking confidential information and the company's money to the outsiders.
"Have always been keeping up with those your fake characters, I don't even understand why you would think people likes you. Mr Marcus choosing your best friend over you wasn't a mistake, it was because he knows she is the right one. Assuming I had met him first, I would have given him my body willingly, loser".
She said, shouting on her without caring if anyone could hear her. Charlotte had paid her to help her insult Frances. She was paid to degrade her with words that would double pierce her heart. What a cruel way!
On that day, Frances was on the floor in her office crying, the company company had sacked her and told her to leave the premises within an hour. Getting to her office, she had met Martha sitting on her chair. She asked her what she was doing and that was when she said her mind, threw and pour the papers on the table on her.
Her senses came back to reality after the weeping, she stood up leaving the company to meet her boyfriend, just to confirm everything she had heard from Martha.
"She had been a pain in the ass, why can't we just get rid of her. I have people who can do it clean for us, or baby do you like her?". Charlotte's seductive voice rang out in the room.
"Not at all, why would I like a girl like her. Where will I put my beautiful princess? And about getting rid of her, sweetie, we don't need it. Since all her properties and wealthy are ours now. Let's just keep celebrating and enjoying our lives. If you want, we can sell her out".
Both of them laughed out loud, not knowing Frances was at the door.
She was about to enter Marcus' room when she heard Charlotte's voice. "Ohh everything is true ". She broke down almost falling to the ground, these are the people she had trusted all her lifetime. She couldn't imagine the pain she was feeling. Where would she start from?8
She ran back to her house, knowing that, if she decide to open the door and go in unto them, she would only embarrassed herself more. She could see that they don't care or have any little pity left for her.
