Sasuke Uchiha stood motionless, arms at his sides, as Dr. Bruce Banner studied him with academic fascination. The glow of the lab's lights reflected in the Rinnegan's concentric circles, casting eerie shadows across the steel walls. This was not Konoha. Not even close. It was colder, more advanced and yet, strangely primitive.

"You don't seem surprised," Sasuke said, voice flat.

Bruce gave a faint smile. "You'd be surprised how often that happens around here. One day you're studying gamma radiation. The next, you're interviewing interdimensional shinobi with glowing eyes and... is that a lightning chakra signature?"

Sasuke didn't reply. He was scanning everything exit routes, surveillance nodes, even the weak spots in the reinforced walls. His ninja instincts hadn't dulled.

"Relax," Bruce said. "You're not a prisoner. This is a containment and observation room. You were unconscious when you appeared. Energy readings were off the charts, so we had to keep you monitored."

Sasuke stepped away from the table, flexing his fingers. The chakra inside him felt fragmented like a puzzle with missing pieces but it was there. Muted by something alien.

"Where is this?" he asked again.

Bruce nodded. "You're on Earth. Specifically, a SHIELD facility on the outskirts of New York. Or what's left of SHIELD. It's complicated."

"Earth," Sasuke repeated. "The system mentioned Midgard."

Bruce's eyes widened slightly. "Okay, so you have heard of Norse mythology. Interesting. That aligns with Thor's accounts."

Sasuke's expression darkened. "Thor?"

"God of Thunder. Tall, blonde, sparkly hammer. Don't worry, you'll meet him eventually. He's a bit dramatic but means well."

Sasuke grunted. His attention was drawn to the faint buzz of energy pulsing beneath his skin. Not chakra. Not entirely.

"Something was added to me," he said. "This isn't just reincarnation. My body... it's been modified."

"You're not wrong," Bruce admitted. "We ran scans when you arrived. Your biology is fundamentally human but there are anomalies. Cellular structures that look almost synthetic. Your chakra system is intact, but you've also absorbed a different kind of energy our readings call it quantum resonance."

"Technology?"

"No," Bruce said thoughtfully. "More like cosmic imprinting. Like your soul was patched with raw energy to keep you alive. Whoever or whatever reincarnated you didn't just drop you here. They rebuilt you."

Sasuke was silent for a moment. His fists clenched. "Why?"

Bruce looked down at his tablet. "That's what we're trying to figure out."

A loud click interrupted them. The door slid open again.

This time, a tall man entered broad-shouldered, dressed in tactical blue and white, a star emblazoned across his chest. A familiar shield rested on his back.

"So, you're the guest?" said Steve Rogers.

Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "And you are?"

"Captain Steve Rogers. Most people call me Captain America."

Sasuke gave him a once-over. "You don't look like a captain."

Steve raised an eyebrow. "You don't look like a teenager who took out half our security grid by breathing."

Bruce coughed. "He's still adjusting."

Steve crossed his arms. "So... what's your story?"

Sasuke hesitated. The truth? Parts of him didn't trust these people. But something about Steve his eyes, his posture, the way he held himself reminded him of Kakashi. Or even Naruto.

"I was a shinobi. A warrior. I died in battle. Then something brought me here. A system. A voice. It said I had unfinished business."

Steve exchanged a glance with Bruce. "Sounds like something we've heard before."

"Do you work for this 'system'?" Sasuke asked.

"No. But we've dealt with multiversal threats. And cosmic ones. If that's who sent you here... we might be in deeper trouble than we thought."

Bruce tapped his tablet. "There's something else. We ran a deep scan of his DNA. His genetic structure is mutating evolving. The energy that brought him here may be enhancing him in unpredictable ways."

Sasuke's gaze hardened. "I didn't ask for this."

"Neither did we," Steve replied. "But now you're here. That means something. We've got protocols for these situations. Quarantine. Monitoring."

Sasuke's fingers twitched again. "You want to put me in a cage?"

"No," Steve said, voice calm but firm. "We want to help you adjust. You may not be a threat now, but if your powers destabilize "

The lights flickered. The walls shook.

"Uh... that's not good," Bruce muttered.

An alert blared through the room. Red lights pulsed.

A voice crackled over the intercom: "Containment breach in Sector D. Unauthorized portal signature detected."

Steve reached for his shield. "Stay here."

Sasuke stepped forward. "I'm coming."

"We don't even know what's out there yet."

"Exactly," Sasuke said, eyes flickering red. "I've faced monsters before. If I'm part of this world now, I need to see what threatens it."

Bruce sighed. "I knew this would happen."

They ran down the corridor, lights flashing, alarms echoing through the halls. SHIELD agents scrambled around them. At the far end, a swirling blue vortex rippled in midair.

From it, figures emerged twisted humanoids with gleaming metal limbs and glowing eyes. Not quite robots. Not quite people.

"Outriders," Steve muttered. "Haven't seen them since the Infinity War."

One leapt forward. Sasuke moved like lightning. In an instant, he was behind it, hand buried in its chest. A burst of electricity fried its core.

Steve blinked. "Remind me not to spar with you."

Sasuke didn't respond. His eyes locked on the portal. Something larger was coming through.

A massive figure stepped out ten feet tall, armored in obsidian, with glowing red veins pulsing across its body. Its eyes met Sasuke's.

"Uchiha," it said in a distorted growl. "The System failed to erase you."

"You know me?" Sasuke asked.

"We are the Architects," it hissed. "You were not meant to survive. The multiverse chose wrong. Now we correct the error."

Sasuke's Rinnegan flared. "Then try."

The battle erupted. Steve hurled his shield, striking one of the Outriders with perfect precision. It bounced off the wall and returned to him as he dived into the fray. Sasuke blurred into motion, a trail of electricity and chakra following him as he met the towering Architect head-on.

Their clash sent shockwaves through the corridor. Sasuke summoned a bolt of black lightning, shaped like a blade, and struck the Architect's arm. It staggered but recovered quickly, retaliating with a blast of red energy that tore through the wall behind them.

Bruce ducked behind a console, yelling, "I'll work on sealing the portal! Just buy me time!"

Sasuke dodged a second blast and disappeared in a flicker of speed. He reappeared above the Architect, spinning in midair. "Chidori: Senbon Shower!"

Dozens of electric needles rained down, piercing the enemy's armor. Sparks flew. One embedded deep into its neck, causing the Architect to roar in pain.

Steve caught Sasuke as he landed. "You're a fast learner."

"You'll see more soon," Sasuke replied, breathing heavily.
