When Damon arrived at the mansion, the atmosphere is silent because everyone had gone for important meetings. Many times, Damon fails to understand his father's reason of trying to get all members of the Holmes family together.
As he stepped inside the living room, he laid eyes on Ethan's new wife Ava. Even though he will never admit it to him, Damon knew the woman is beautiful.
"Where is Ethan?" She turned around, startled by his question.
"He said he needed to handle some private business."
"Private business huh?" He reached out to his pocket and pull out his phone.
'Keep an eye on Ethan and tell me what he is up to.'
After he is done sending the text, Damon walked over to the other side of the couch and took his seat.
Ava tried focusing on the Netflix show that she is watching, but realized that Damon is staring at her and this made her uncomfortable.
"So tell me, did Damon told you that he has a model girlfriend before he got married to you?" Damon asked.
She did not give him an immediate response as her mind traveled wondering the intention of the question.
"I think whatever he has with his model girlfriend is certainly going to be put to rest now that he is married."
Damon sat upright and this time he cleared his throat his eyes not leaving her for a single moment.
"Did he tell you anything about me?"
Ava begins to wonder where Damon could possibly be driving at with all the questions that he is throwing at her direction.
"Just a little"
"Look, I understand that he might have said a lot of horrible things about me, but the truth of the matter is, I am not really a bad person. Ethan is always trying to get in my way of things and I don't appreciate such an action."
Ava said no words, but merely gave him a nod.
Damon is about to continue speaDamon, when the door opens and Ethan stepped inside the living room. He had a frown on his face seeing his step brother talking to his wife.
"Listen Damon, whatever mind games you are playing, I don't want to be a part of it." Ethan warned and grabbed Ava's hand.
"Why can you not just calm down brother. I was only having a chit chat with your wife. Nothing personal"
Ethan rolled his eyes and pulled Ava with him out of the room.
When they arrive in their personal room, Ethan closed the door behind and looked at Ava.
"What was he saying?" He asked.
"Just asking about my personal life, but I wasn't going to tell him anything." Ava assured.
Ethan took a deep breath and goes to the wardrobe, pulling off his suit and his tie. "My stupid step brother is trying to prey into our lives, I don't want you to give him that opportunity."
Ethan noticed Ava's attention was on his body and he realized he was shirtless. He smirked seeing how much effect he had on her.
"I am guessing you like what you see." Ethan asked, walDamon close to Ava who stepped back a little further.
"Put some clothes on!" She said trying to look away.
Ava gasped as one of her hands is placed on his chest. She could not deny enjoying the sensation and even though she wished for him to stop, she could not say the word.
Ethan pulled her closer to him and as they locked eyes with each other, he stared down at her lips and leaned close.
Ava tried pushing him away, but he is too strong.
"I am your husband remember?"Ethan said and held cupped her face. "You are so beautiful Ava."
"You said this marriage is a transaction, how about you stick to this transaction and leave the intimacy out of it." Ava said.
"Did you read the clause of the contract or did you just signed yourself away?" Ethan's question made Ava to take a quick reflection.
She had actually signed the contract without looking at what she signed.
"One of the clause states that in the course of being married, we have every right to perform our duties as actual couples."
"I cannot have sex with you!" Ava expressed.
Ethan said no word; he let her go realizing she might not be interested. "Maybe you are right; we should not be doing this." He thought and turned back walDamon over to the wardrobe.
"Is it true that you have a model girlfriend?" Ethan is taken aback by the question and so he turned around to look at her.
"Did Damon told you these things?"
"He said you cannot be faithful and he is even surprised that you chose to marry." She said.
Ethan folded his hands in fist. He is tired of his step brother trying to sabotage every single moment that he always share with his own loved ones.
"Look, you don't need to be angry about it. I know his game and I can assure you that I will not fall for his tricks."
Ethan said no word, he walked over to the bathroom and slammed the door behind him.
As the water dropped down his body, Ethan closed his eyes thinking through the things he could possibly do to Damon.
Sometimes he always fail to understand why his father had chosen to wed Priscilla in the first place, when he is fully aware of the actual truth: the woman is a gold digger.
Suddenly, he felt soft arms encircle his body. Ethan turn around to see a naked Ava.
"You don't have to say a word." She said giggling at him.
Ethan drew her close and captured her lips in a thrilling kiss. The moment of intimacy is deepened as the water touched their body.
"I just hope I am not making a huge mistake." Ava whispered into his ear.
"With me, you can be rest assured that you are not making any mistake." He assured and they continued their intimacy.
