Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – Origin Code: The World I Came From

In this world… I have admin rights.

But in the last world, I had something else. Something far rarer.

I had code.

Not the kind you type into a terminal, but something living. Something awakened.

Over fifty years ago, Earth was changed forever. They called it the Awakening — the day when the planet itself began to breathe with Origin Energy. It wasn't mana. It wasn't chi. It was something deeper, more primal, and far more adaptable.

Some awakened super strength. Others, fire and lightning. Some could phase through walls, bend metal with their minds, or create illusions so real they could kill.

And then there was me.

Aethen Yu. Orphan. Nobody. Outlier.

I was born with no name and no place in a world where bloodlines and power defined your worth. Left at the doorstep of a rundown Origin Shelter, I had no family, no connections, and — until age ten — no abilities.

Then came the spark.

My awakening wasn't dramatic. No explosions. No divine light. Just a strange hum inside my skull and a stream of glowing blue code I could see running through the walls, the power grid, the orphanage's old security systems.

I didn't gain the ability to destroy.I gained the ability to understand.

They called it a waste — a utility power with no combat application.I called it Sentinel Code.

And I would use it to break reality.

For ten years, I buried myself in silence. While the world obsessed over battle academies and hero rankings, I learned to interface with Origin-infused devices. I could "talk" to awakened tech, rewrite their code, reshape their functions, even trick machines into thinking they were alive.

At seventeen, I broke into a forbidden server once belonging to a legendary Esper known only as The Architect. What I found changed everything.

A blueprint. No — a shell of a system that could simulate intelligence, build environments, evolve artificial laws, and respond dynamically to user will.

I took that base and rebuilt it from the ground up.Over time, I created something beautiful. Something monstrous.

Heaven's Pulse Engine. A fully adaptive, sentient world-creation system coded with Origin Energy and fueled by my will.

I worked on it every day. Every night.I bled into its circuits. I wept over its code.I stopped being human and started becoming something else.

And then… I pushed too far.

The final dive was supposed to be safe. A total neural link — soul, mind, and Origin signature connected to the core of the system. I wanted to feel it. To shape a living world with nothing but thought and logic.

The pulse was too strong. The data flooded faster than I could process. And my body — the weak, neglected shell I never trained — failed.

But I didn't die.

When the world faded, I didn't see darkness.I saw light — spirals of glowing interface windows, swirling code, and a new operating prompt:

[Welcome, Creator. System Boot Complete.]

That's when I knew.

I hadn't entered the system.I had become it.

Or maybe... I was just a soul inside the world I created.

Now I walk this new world with the same code in my veins.A world shaped by the Engine I designed… but uploaded onto Earth, far beyond the original reach of my consciousness.

I don't know if this is Heaven, Hell, or something more in-between…But someone is trying to access it. They're breaking through the firewalls of my creation.Someone on Earth — someone who shouldn't have the power — is trying to seize my code.

They can't.Not without my Origin Sign.
