Everybody was dead. 
The corpses of his loved ones lay mangled, torn, and lifeless across his feet. The loss of his family had left him despaired, broken, a Shadow of his former self.

But...
This wouldn't be the end. He wouldn't let it be. He'd get his revenge. 
By any means necessary.
He'd smother his enemies with their own shadow.

Armed with the knowledge granted to him by a clandestine organization, he would expand his power, learn magic, build connections, and ensure retribution upon his foes. 

He would become The Supreme Shadow.
