It all began during summer break when Max was out, and suddenly, Tara confronted him. She approached Max and asked if he was free the following day. She wanted to hang out with him for a long time, but hadn't dared to ask until now. Finally, she mustered the courage to invite him to spend time together—strictly as friends, of course. Unaware of Tara's feelings for him, Max agreed.
To meet her. The next day, at 11:00 AM sharp, Tara was waiting for Max at the park so they could head to their destination. Max, who was a bit of a clumsy guy, overslept and ended up late. He finally arrived at the park and spotted Tara. They set off together toward the aquarium, Tara's choice, as she loved looking at fish and marine life. After a 30-minute subway ride, they arrived at the aquarium. Tara was overexcited to see all the fish and began taking countless pictures.
Meanwhile, Max wandered around, not particularly interested in the aquarium since it wasn't his type of hangout. He was preoccupied with thoughts of his football team and their upcoming tournament. Tara noticed Max seemed distracted and confronted him about it. Max explained that he was worried about the tournament where they would face the U-16 team from Ajax Academy, one of the top football academies in the world. Tara tried to lift his spirits by reminding him of his skills, emphasizing how he was the best player in their school and a great leader. This boosted Max's confidence a bit, but he still knew the match would be challenging. After their aquarium visit,
They both felt hungry, so Tara suggested going to a nearby café. They ordered their food, ate, and then headed home. Max returned home tired from the day's activities and went straight to bed. After a long, refreshing sleep, he woke up at 6:00 AM, got ready, had breakfast, and called his football teammates for practice. In the next couple of hours, everyone gathered at the football field of St. John High School, ready to train for the upcoming tournament. They started with warm-up exercises such as running, stretching, and passing drills. Once warmed up, they played a practice match, 11 versus 11, with Max leading one team and his best friend Leo leading the other. After
After hours of practice, it was finally time to head home. Max returned home sweaty and exhausted, so he immediately took a cold shower, which rejuvenated him. The day of the tournament arrived, featuring a match between St. John High School and Ajax. Both teams took to the field at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. The captains met for the coin toss, and Ajax would kick off first. As the referee blew the whistle, the match began. Ajax started maintaining possession with quick passes. In just the seventh minute, Ryan from the right wing sent a through ball to the striker, Julian, resulting in an early goal for Ajax, making it 1-0. This put immediate pressure on St. John's players and supporters. After conceding, St. John kicked off again, determined to regain momentum and score. However, Ajax's defense proved to be challenging. Max then received the ball and made an incredible through pass to his striker, Ricardo, who equalized the score in the 20th minute. No one had expected that they would level the score so quickly. The game continued, and with the tournament's knockout format, every match was crucial—lose once, and they were out. As time passed, the score remained tied. In the 89th minute, St. John attempted a shot, but Ajax's goalkeeper made a great save, resulting in a corner kick for St. John. Left-footed forward Ren
Stepped up to take the corner, which turned out to be their last chance to score a winner before penalties became a possibility, which would be a daunting challenge against Ajax. Ren is ready to take the corner kick as he has lifted his hand, which signals his teammates that he is about to take the shot. Ren strikes the ball into an inside curler, and he has found his teammate near the far post, and MAX HAS STRIKED THE BALL INTO THE NET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And St. John's player are celebrating their late winner scored by their captain, and as soon as Ajax kicks off again, the referee whistles full time, and Ajax are out of the tournament and St. John's has advanced to ROUND 2. A sportsmanlike spirit was displayed by both teams as they shook hands after such a great match. Tara visited Max the next day to congratulate him on advancing to round two.
Tara: Hey Max!!!
Max: Oh, hi Tara! Thanks!
Tara: Congratulations on winning against Ajax!
Max: Thanks so much!
Tara: I wish you all the best for your next match, too.

Day 2: Pushing Harder
On the second practice day, the task of playing Real Madrid was more tangible. Tara visited to demonstrate her support. She cheered from the side as they worked hard.
At a water break, Max noticed her and said, "Hey Tara! I need your expertise on our game plan!" She rushed over, eager to assist, "What's the plan?"
We have to pay attention to their right side. If we can trick them there, we might have a shot!" Tara was taken aback by Max's suggestion. Inspired, the team exerted itself during sprints and practiced their plays. By the end of practice, they were exhausted but more cohesive.
