Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: [Chakra Circulation Method], Apprenticing Under Tsunade?

[I wish to consume 435 wish points to maximize my intellect for 5 minutes.]

Ren took short breaks between each enlightenment, just enough to organize and validate the information from the newly created techniques.

Then, he plunged into the next insight.

One by one, he successfully created:

The Perfect Three-Tomoe Sharingan Cultivation Method

The Chakra Circulation Method — a training technique to accumulate chakra, expand meridians, and develop a central energy reservoir (Middle Dantian)

He also produced secondary versions of both—simplified but powerful enough for others to use.

"Phew! Done at last."

"Now I can focus on putting these techniques into practice and fully unlocking my body's potential."

After spending about half an hour internalizing and stabilizing the new techniques—and running them through his body twice—Ren finally opened his eyes, took a deep breath, and smiled.

"Too bad the clan's medical resources were so limited…"

"If I had access to all of the Leaf's medical scrolls, I probably could've saved even more wish points during this process."

"And if I ever want to develop more powerful techniques—or even those that enhance innate talent or physical constitution—I'll definitely need more knowledge of medicine and anatomy."

He tapped his chin thoughtfully.

"Maybe… I should try to become Tsunade's student?"

Ren weighed the risks and rewards.

The risks were obvious:

He would need to publicly demonstrate high talent in medical ninjutsu.

That meant exposing part of his abilities to the Third Hokage—and especially to Danzo.

And Danzo was the last person you wanted poking around in your life.

But the benefits were even greater:

Political Protection — Becoming Tsunade's disciple would align him with the Hokage's inner circle. Given her fiercely protective nature, it would drastically reduce interference from Danzo and others.

Access to the Leaf Medical Library — An invaluable source of knowledge.

Exclusive Techniques — He could learn directly from Tsunade: her medical ninjutsu, chakra control arts, monster strength technique, and maybe even the Uzumaki sealing arts and Senju clan secrets.

Cross-Clan Relationships — Being Tsunade's student would make it easier to build connections outside the Uchiha.

"Yeah. That settles it."

"I'll talk to my parents and ask them to help push for it."

Having made up his mind, Ren called it a night. After all those enlightenment sessions, his mind was exhausted.

The next morning.

Ren woke up early and headed to the training field in the back of the house.

But today, he didn't hold back.

He officially began practicing Internal Martial Arts—Guoshu.

He started with stance training, then progressed into Five-Animal Boxing.

With his divine-tier bodily control and spiritual clarity, his physical condition skyrocketed.

Within a few sets, Ren noticed a huge improvement in how well he could manipulate his own muscles and bones. His strength and flexibility improved drastically.

The only downside?

He was absolutely starving.

Just as he was about to go grab breakfast, he noticed his father, Uchiha Nobuhiko, standing off to the side—watching him quietly.

"Dad!"

Ren called out with a grin.

"Hmm."

Nobuhiko nodded but frowned slightly.

"What were you just practicing? That's not part of any Uchiha taijutsu I know…"

"Still—it looks solid. Very effective on the body."

"Wait… did you create this yourself?"

He remembered Ren requesting body-training scrolls half a month ago.

Looking back now, it all made sense. Ren must've found the clan's methods lacking and set out to make his own.

"Heh, yep!"

Ren beamed proudly.

This was exactly the moment he'd planned for—to establish his "genius persona" in front of his parents and lay the groundwork for what was to come.

"I think it's way better than the basic body-training routine you taught me years ago."

"Wanna try it?"

Nobuhiko raised an eyebrow.

"Oh?"

He was intrigued now.

"Sure! Teach me."

"If it's really that good—there's a reward in it for you."

He placed a hand on Ren's shoulder and ran a chakra scan.

No injuries. On the contrary, Ren's physique had improved dramatically.

Only then did Nobuhiko withdraw his hand.

"Alright. Show me."

"Okay!"

Ren began teaching his father the basic stance forms and beginner strength-building techniques of internal martial arts.

Nobuhiko, being a Kage-level shinobi, already had superb physical control and chakra sensitivity.

With his experience and the Sharingan's support, he picked it up within two tries.

Soon, he was practicing with force and precision.

By the end, Nobuhiko felt invigorated. Even some of his long-standing internal injuries felt better.

"This method is incredible… thorough body training, great control benefits…"

"And it seems to heal the body in certain ways too. That's rare."

He turned to Ren, eyes gleaming.

"Tell me the truth, kid. You really came up with this yourself?"

It wasn't that he doubted Ren—but the results were just that shocking.

"What else could it be? You think I found it in a ditch?"

Ren replied cheekily.

"You brat…"

Nobuhiko rapped his son on the forehead, just as Ren's stomach growled loudly.

He chuckled.

"Let's go eat."

"Also… you mentioned a reward. What do you want?"

"Father—I want to become Tsunade's student."

"Pffft—!"

Nobuhiko had just taken a sip of porridge and sprayed it everywhere.

Thankfully, he turned to the side. The table was spared.

Unfortunately…

Splat—right into Fugaku's face.

"..."

Fugaku sat frozen, drenched in warm rice porridge.

"Cough, cough, cough!"

Nobuhiko wiped his mouth and turned to Ren in disbelief.

"You want to apprentice under Tsunade Senju?! Where did that come from?"

Before Ren could answer, Fugaku shot to his feet in outrage.

His face was red—ready to shout—but held back, unsure how to challenge both his father and brother at once.

"Dad, you—!"

"Ahem."

Nobuhiko finally noticed his firstborn covered in porridge.

"My bad, Fugaku. Didn't see you there…"

"Go clean up."

Fugaku said nothing. He just stormed off, utterly humiliated.
