Chapter 1 - CH 1 FUCK YOU WIZARD

The grand chandelier above the dining hall sparkled like a sky full of stars, casting a warm amber glow over the polished oak floors. Below it stood a majestic table — long, carved with intricate floral patterns, and surrounded by velvet-cushioned chairs. It looked like something out of a royal palace, not the home of an eleven-year-old boy.

But this wasn't an ordinary home.

Salix sat at the far end of the massive table, chin resting on his palms, eyes fixed on the bright red cricket ball beside his plate. It gleamed like a ruby, a trophy from yesterday's match — his most prized possession.

He laughed and tossed it into the air, watching it spin before landing perfectly back in his palm.

Beside him, tail wagging furiously, stood his golden retriever, Toffee.

"Don't you dare take it," Salix warned playfully, eyeing Toffee's fixed stare. "I mean it, boy!"

Too late.

With a bark of pure mischief, Toffee lunged, snatched the ball from Salix's hand, and bolted out of the hall — ears flapping like sails in the wind.

"TOFFEE!" Salix shouted, leaping to his feet. "Drop it! That's not a chew toy!"

The chase led him through the garden, past the hedges, and straight toward the cobbled street. But as Toffee dashed around the corner, he collided — full force — with a tall figure cloaked in dark, charcoal-gray robes.

The man staggered but caught himself with a sharp crack of his black walking stick against the ground. Toffee rolled back with a startled yelp, the cricket ball bouncing to a stop beside the man's polished boot.

Salix froze.

The man straightened slowly. He had long, pale blond hair, slicked straight down past his shoulders. His skin was ghostly pale, almost marble-like, and his face was all angles — sharp cheekbones, a pointed nose, and cold, calculating grey eyes that looked down at Salix with thinly veiled disgust.

Salix opened his mouth. "I'm so sorr—"

"Stupid Muggle mutt," the man hissed, cutting him off with venom in his voice.

Salix's breath caught.

Is he… who I think he is?

"Bow! Bow-bhewwww!" Toffee barked furiously at the stranger.

This idiot is going to get me killed. Shut up, Toffee!

"You should teach your filthy animal not to run into things it doesn't understand," the man growled, bending to pick up the cricket ball.

"Toffee, no!" Salix shouted as his dog lunged again, this time grabbing hold of the man's luxury coat and tearing it with his teeth.

Let go, you idiot! He'll kill both of us! Salix thought, yanking at Toffee's collar, trying to pry him off.

The man's hand slid inside his coat.

"Boy i dont have time for your shit" old man said

He pulled out a wand.

"Avada Kedavra."

A flash of green. A burst of sound like a thunderclap.

Salix flinched, nearly blinded. His ears rang. The world tilted.

"AHHH, TOFFEEE!" he screamed, stumbling forward.

The man sneered. "Get lost, boy. Your dog is no more."

Salix blinked through the blinding lights dancing in his vision — green, blue, black — all swirling, hurting his eyes. His heart pounded like a war drum.

"He was just a dog," Salix whispered, his voice trembling with anger he barely held back.

"for that's who it surely was — smirked. "Yes. Just a dog. And you — a filthy little Mudblood."

Salix's fists clenched, but he didn't move. Not yet.

"Don't you dare cross my path again," old spat, turning to leave.

Salix's voice rang out, calm but cutting."Being a Mudblood is still better than being the lapdog of a noseless freak."

A beat of silence.

"You filthy little animal, AVA—"

CRACK!

"AARRGH! MY HEAD, YOU LITTLE BASTARD!" howled.

Before he could finish the curse, Salix had hurled a loose brick — part of a garden wall — straight into the back of his head. The old man crumpled to the ground, his wand clattering just out of reach.

Salix rushed to Toffee.

The golden retriever lay lifeless, tongue slightly out, eyes glazed. His warm body rested limply in Salix's lap.

"No... no, no, no," Salix murmured, tears stinging his eyes. He gently cradled his best friend's head. A single tear rolled down his cheek.

"You're gonna pay for this," he whispered.

Then louder, voice breaking—

"YOU'RE GONNA FUCKING PAY FOR THIS, MALFOYYYY!"

With a cry, Salix leapt forward and slammed a punch into Lucius's face, snapping his head to the side and blooming red across his pale cheek.

He raised his fist for a second blow — but Lucius had already scrambled for his wand.

Smack!

Lucius slapped Salix hard, pointing the wand at his chest.

"How dare you touch me!" he snarled.

"How dare you kill my dog!" Salix snapped back, even as his body trembled.

He knew he didn't stand a chance. A Muggle-born boy against a powerful wizard. But still — he wasn't backing down.

Lucius's lips curled.

"I could kill you too," he said coldly.

And he raised his wand again.

"Not this time," Salix thought, teeth clenched, adrenaline roaring in his ears.

"AVADA KEDAVRA!" Malfoy bellowed, arm snapping forward as his wand lit up with a sickly green flash.

For a moment, the world froze — a burst of blinding light engulfed everything. Silence followed. The street was still.

Lucius Malfoy's cold eyes scanned the smoke, searching for a body.

Then—

"Screeeeek!"The sharp sound of sliding shoes echoed from behind him.

"Screw you, RAPUNZEL!"Salix's voice came like thunder — and so did his fist.

SMACK!He slammed his knuckles into Malfoy's pale jaw harder than before, snapping the man's head sideways. Lucius stumbled, coughing as the force crushed against his throat.

"Khh—khh—"His coughs were dry and rasping, filled with disbelief.

"You really thought I couldn't dodge your curse?" Salix growled, glaring as green sparks crackled near his feet. "You missed. I don't go down that easy."

Lucius snarled, his teeth clenched like a beast cornered.

"You filthy little bastard..." he hissed, rage seething in every word. "You don't get to die quickly. I'll show you real pain."

His eyes burned with hatred as he raised his wand again.

"CRUCIO!"The word ripped from his throat like a curse from hell, echoing through the street as red light exploded toward Salix.
