Kane was watching Twilight with his sister. She got him to watch it with her, but he quickly grew bored and angry because the movie was the worst.
"What the fuck did you get me watching?" Kane said.
"You don't like it? The movie's good. Why are you angry?" his sister replied.
"This movie is so awful, even the popcorn couldn't save it," Kane said. "How do you even watch a movie like this? This Edward guy is a stalker and corny. This movie should—"
"He's not corny! You're just jealous because he's good-looking."
"Ew. He doesn't look good at all—and I'm leaving. Bye."
"Where are you goin—"
He left before she could finish. He walked outside, took out a cigarette, and lit it. He took a long drag, exhaling slowly.
But he didn't notice the truck speeding toward him—so fast that he didn't even feel it when it hit him.

He woke up in a void. He couldn't see anything.
"Where am I?"
He kept walking, but he didn't feel anything beneath his feet. No ground, no air—just endless nothing.
He walked until he suddenly stopped.
"WHERE THE FUCK AM I?!"
Suddenly, a bright light rushed toward him and stopped just inches away. A presence emerged from it. When it spoke, the voice didn't echo—it reverberated through reality itself.
"What are you doing here?" the being asked.
Kane, surprised, said, "I don't know why I'm here. And… who are you?"
"I am what you lowly humans call God."
"Damn. Why you calling us lowly? I mean, you created us. That's on you."
God was surprised that Kane's soul remained intact in the void.
"Well, you're a special one. I'll send you to another world—to entertain me."
Kane perked up. A second chance? Just like in the anime and novels he loved. But a part of him was irritated.
'What does he think I am, his toy? Just here to entertain him?'
"Yes, you are a toy," God answered, reading his thoughts. "You humans are something I created because I was bored. But you're different—no mortal enters the void with their soul intact. Yet here you are."
"Okay… what world are you sending me to? Do I get wishes or something?"
"I'll send you to another world," God said with a mischievous smile. "You humans call it Twilight, and—"
"WHAT? NOOO!"
God frowned. Kane instantly felt the shift.
"Be grateful, puny human. I was going to give you three wishes. Now you'll only get one."
"I'm sorry!" Kane said quickly, trying to make puppy eyes—but he had no face.
"What are you doing?"
"Trying to look cute so you'll forgive me and give me the three wishes."
God burst into laughter so powerful the whole universe shook.
"HAHAHAHA—!"
Kane blushed in embarrassment.
"Okay, okay—can I at least get two wishes?"
"Fine. I'll grant you two. You made me laugh, and I haven't done that in millennia."
'Damn.' Kane thought.
Kane was both relieved and embarrassed.
"So… can I wish for anything?"
"Anything—except godly powers."
"Got it. Let me think."
He considered the world he was entering. Vampires? No—he didn't want to drink blood forever. Werewolf? Nah—he wanted to keep his clothes on.
'What about a superhuman with no weaknesses… like Yujiro Hanma.' Kane chuckled. 'And for the second wish… maybe a lover? Rosalie's hot. Yeah, that's it.'
"I've decided," Kane said.
"Very well. What do you wish for?"
"I wish… to become strength itself. I wish to be Yujiro Hanma. Let me wield his overwhelming, terrifying power. Let my fists become storms, my presence a force that silences armies. Grant me a body that defies nature, and a spirit that fears nothing. I do not seek mercy—I seek domination. Make me the demon man, unstoppable and supreme."
"Granted."
"And my second wish… make Rosalie my mate. Bind her to me."
"Granted. Now fuck off, puny human—HAHAHAHA!"
Kane didn't even have time to respond before he vanished.
