Chapter 2 - Trouble from Giant rank two snake monster!(I)

While Hong Jun was just about to go and meet that mother of his, to see what she was planning, he saw smoke rising from the northern direction of his territory.

"I hope it's not their work." He thought with some anger rising in his heart.

Seeing how Hong Jun was staring in the Northern direction, secretary Wen panicked slightly.

"Clan Master! Don't tell me you are planning to go and see what has happened over there? You should know that if you delay the madam she will purnish you again! Is it Worth it for some servants?" Secretary Wen spoke his mind.

Listening to this words, he didn't even turn back. "Go and inform her I'll be late. I should go and solve this issue first. Besides, this is my real foundation." He spoke resolutely and looked back at secretary Wen coldly. It made the man tremble.

Hong Jun didn't like this man because he knew clearly his mother left this guy around him to monitor and report back. It was just that after this wedding he had already planned to get rid of him, but his words made him resolute and act at the moment.

"Oh! From now on you don't have to remain in my territory. You can follow her out when she leaves after the wedding, thanks for your hard work over the years " Hong Jun was able to see the subtle reactions and actions of this man over the years.

It could be said that just like his parents, he had some disdain towards him just because Hong Jun lacked spiritual roots.

It was also why Hong Jun never passed over the second level of the Othershore Primodial Demon Body Codex. The technique is only passed on to a few people and he was not one of them, clearly Hong Jun never trusted him.

Walking away, Hong Jun didn't forget to handle Secretary Wen.

"Gu Tian!" He called out.

"Here!"

An old voice sounded and old man walked out from nowhere.

He was among the oldest and strongest subordinates.

"Accompany me to handle some things."with that his figure vanished fast, leaving behind nothing but dust behind him.

He was fart, abnormally fast all thanks to his strong physique. Clearly his speed was not attributed to any movement skills at all.

The old man was different, when he moved, even secretary Wen couldn't see how he did it.

It was just even after being ignored, he smilled slightly as though not bothered.

"So what if you have reached the Acquired stage. Isn't that the limit of you mortals. Wait until I get the chance to cultivate from madam and we will see wether you can be arrogant before me! Besides, you dare to ignore madam's order. Let's see how she deals with you again." He sneered as he looked at the direction Hong Jun and the old man fled to.

Secretary Wen was indeed among the very many people that were born in this territory, and lucky to have inferior grade of spiritual roots.

It was just as they became older, they became more and more arrogant.

It was not just him, almost all those with spiritual roots had thie superiority complex. He didn't think much about it but as he grew up, he realized this group seemed to have some mental issues.

He just couldn't trust them and among his people, anyone with spiritual roots regardless of grade had been discarded.Sectratary Wen was the only one left, and this was probably not for long. Why he had not completely gotten rid of this guy, it had something to do with his mother.

He was like a loyal dog and trying to please her so as to get a chance at cultivation.

It was just that he didn't know Hong Jun had reached an agreement with his mother. After he got married, she would leave and not interfere with his life from now on.

She after all was an immortal cultivator and couldn't accept the fact that of her three children one couldn't cultivate. It would have been fine if he had poor qualifications, but he had no qualifications at all to cultivate.

Such a group of people was a minority in the world of cultivation.

People like secretary Wen were the majority. But even so, Hong Jun had already located and gathered a substantial number of such people.

In the Hong clan, even though only his mothe, elder brother, sister and father are related, all the others are considered Hong clan members.

He didn't know how this came about, but he didn't have a problem with it.

Anyway, he wasn't going to be bothered by such issues. Since he was clan master, he had to make sure his people were safe.

It was why he rushed off after seeing the smoke.

He took this title too seriously, after all in his family everyone had their priorities straight.

His elder brother was a Cultivation genius that had joined a sect. His younger sister was recruited into a sect too. It was just he didn't know much about it, but had a feeling it was not weak.

He had already heard about this world and how massive it was.

Other than that, even legendary ascending was something and he just didn't want to die a mediocre person.

Developing this village clan was his first step and the source of his confidence was the tattoo on his shoulder.

He might have accepted his fate had it not been for it.

The tattoo was if a sleeping creature, and even his parents seemed to be Incapable of seeing it. It was just that he could barely see it's outline and managed to transform the mortal martial arts skills that was aimed at enhancing the body to the Acquired stage.

Now he was not even at this level, but his body was stronger.

Only those he deems loyal have been able to obtain part is this technique. He spread the fake version and even those with spirit roots.coild access it.

Gu Tian was such a person and with this technique his foundation was enhanced as such willing to follow Hong Jun.

At least he could see hope of going further. His strength that had already stopped growing actually increased slightly after just practicing the technique for less than a month. How could he not be unwilling to follow.

As two figures appeared on a remote region that resembled a river village, cries could be heard.

"Old Gu! Let's hurry!" He urged the old man as he rushed fast forward into the village.

He could feel a strong smell of blood and collapsed houses came into view.

Looking around, some broken limbs could be seen.

"Damn! Who did it?" He was angry that he let out an enraged roar.

Only then did he hear the sound of fighting.

"Huh! Clan Master! Over there." Old man Gu Tian's voice sounded.

He also was able to hear the sounds.

Rushing over, his body that had been running paused.

Fear was clearly written on his face, as he looked at the two fires torches.

"What is that?" He felt instinctive fear envelope his entire body.

He was trembling by just standing there.
