The three friends gazed down to look around the violin on the ground.
The cricket buzzing at night, a reflection with their heavy eyelids.
They might be willing for a rest.
Suddenly, Gary's eyes caught the sticky note on the violin.
"What is it? That looks like a venting text."
Hearing this, Elizabeth headed to the sticky note and swept her wand across it.
"Oh, that text is bloody small. I can't even read."
"Want me to read? It writes that Gary crush on the school president."
"Please stay focused on our task! Shannon."
Gary replied, using his spiritual wielding to spawn the magnifying glass.
As he looked:
"What's that? I hate this life. I hate this school. Also this society. I hate everything. Goodbye, the world that I hate."
After Gary told her, Elizabeth let out a deep sigh.
"Well, I don't see a toxic guy enough? Likes that green hair man."
"Like a glamorous queen?"
Shannon swiftly replied.
That both friends quarrel with each other.
Unlike Gary, he was focused on searching for information.
"Chopstick! As far as I search, I find out that our high school students lost around four heads.
And the sticky note is a wholesome clue."
Finishing his words, he held out his phone for both his friends to look.
After Shannon saw this, he gave an opinion.
"Uhh, who? Might be Senior Woody, I saw he loves playing the violin. Not gonna lie, he is less skilled than a kindergartner."
Elizabeth nodded, agreeing with his reason.
But Gary hadn't decided yet, the only thing he could do was cut out two choices.
It can't be twins if one shows off, where is the other one? Can't end the case. Sometimes it is a trap.
"Umm, guys, I think it might be either senior Emma or Woody."
Elizabeth and Shannon, after hearing his shout, narrowed their eyes.
Truly Disbelief.
"Woody, yes, but Emma? She is a girl with good manners. Even senior Alice said if she didn't exist, Emma would be a model student".
Elizabeth opposed.
"Yea, she is senior Alice's bestie; they go shopping together many times. Why steal the students council's property?"
Shannon supported her word.
"Yea, it's true; even senior Woody wrote a song to insult the high school. His violin-playing style is for real unique."
Gary gave a reason before yawning.
"Ahh… it's too late. Why don't you go back home and hit the bed?"
Hearing this, Elizabeth pulled out her phone.
"Shall we meet here at 7 o'clock?"
"As you say, Beth."
Gary and Shannon spoke together, then everyone separated to go back home.
---
The new morning day arrived, the three friends gathered in the school garden.
They were in a full students uniform with suit, even they had to study this day like the other.
"Umm, what's next?"
Gary started, his hand clenching on the table in front of his chair.
"Yah, anyone have any good ideas? I do think all night long, but worth nothing."
Elizabeth replied with a tired voice, her hand cascading along the golden hair.
"Well, why not activate the neighbor mode?"
Shannon said.
He was just joking, but it enlighten Gary's bulbs.
"What's a wholesome idea. If a senior's notebook isn't enough, this will work out.
Hang in there, Senior Alice! I will be right behind you."
Elizabeth heard this, she pulled out a notebook, leaning towards Shannon's ears, and whispering.
"Do you think Gary obsesses over something?"
"Whatever, that's normal."
After the conversation, they went to collect the data from the students there.
Then, they found a student who was stressed with organizing the event.
Why not stressed? The significant data was lost.
Anyways, it would be a good thing to inquire of that event-organizing student.
They might know several things about the school politics, more or less.
"Uh, excuse me? Do you know where's Woody!"
Shannon asked, his hand sweeping the drug that clung to his black coat.
"Well, he dead!" The event organizer said directly.
Unknown to play the word game.
"Hey! Shannon, did you lose your mind before asking?"
Elizabeth nudged her elbow to Shannon, before continuing.
"Any gossiping thing? Likes someone break up?"
Not even help, Gary heard this, his eyes went empty, and his face went straight.
Couldn't explain the feeling in the speech or action.
Then, somebody answered Elizabeth's nonsensical questions.
"No one breaking up, but there is a traitor rat."
The answer was unexpected, Gary palmed his hand against his temple.
He might be concerned about the Gen Alpha, who was the future of the nation.
But finally, he could get useful data.
The school principal walked in to check how the event was.
And Garry headed towards him, then bowing.
"What's the business? Gary! How is your investigation going."
The president asked with a fond voice.
"So, I have a minor issue."
"What's the issue?"
The question of principal ended, and Gary took a deep breath.
"I wonder where is the lost secret document? I guess the locker but what's it stored."
"Yes, the president."
Shannon and Elizabeth nodded.
It looks like when they saw the man with power, they were just being Gary's drones.
"Yes, it is the locker. But believe it or not? There are trollge students who like to sticker it, or write the nonsense thing.
Also! Try to find the abandoned ones."
After the principal finished explaining, Gary and his drones bowed, then headed towards the school locker.
"Oh my gosh, they are numerous lockers!"
Elizabeth exclaimed before Gary stated.
"Must be that locker."
He turned his pointer to the two out-of-place locker.
It looked like they deteriorated by the lack of maintenance.
The one, stuck with the school political meme.
And the other, nothing wrong except the blessing stickers.
"Look like we found Woody's locker. That's cool!"
Shannon said, his voice laced with grace.
"Yes, but how to open it off"
Elizabeth asked.
"No worry! I'll take this one."
Gary spawned the magnet gloves and dashed to snatch that locker door.
Unfortunately, that door was sticking to the other locker door scrap.
And it didn't help, Gary found the secondary door that was tough until his magnet didn't talk.
"Clapping the hand for your decoration idea!"
Gary said ironically.
"Yeah! Looks like Woody is crazy, or hiding something."
She said, the stress wave closing her eyes.
"Well, want to open it?"
Shannon's words made everyone turn their gaze to him.
He pulled the glass jar that carried the pink liquid.
After receiving Gary's nod, he soon drank it out.
This time, the taste was like an iron that got burning then got freezing then mincing.
As Gary saw he drank the whole, Shannon became a bigger man, with muscular limbs.
"Go, Shannon! Crush it till a mince!"
Elitzabeth chanted out.
Crushed!
That fist, punching the locker door until it shattered.
But as Gary weaving his eyes, he found nothing.
Not only a small piece.
"Well, somebody tricking us!"
Elizabeth exclaimed, her hand covered her gasp."
"If not Woody, then whom?"
Shannon shouted.
It looked like every clue they collected was only a waste.
"Then, the imposter is only o-"
Gary couldn't finish his word, and the metal pipe from nowhere fell.
And It was bonked to the three friends until their vision turned black.
