Some said they were portals to the fragments of the Void Realm.
Some called them Pocket Dimensions.
Others said they were other Fallen Worlds.
In truth it never mattered what Rifts were. They only represented one thing. Opportunity.
The few great warriors in the Fallen Worlds who ever managed to challenge Rifts and succeed brought great opportunities to their Worlds. Those Warriors ascended into Beings of The Middle World. The ones of the Middle World were like Gods to the Fallen Ones. In truth, the Middle World was nothing in the Cosmos however the Fallen Ones who knew nothing about the World outside their Small Fallen Dimension revered Beings from the Middle World.
THEBLOOD.
Some called it Magic.
Some called it Mana.
Others called it Energy.
But for the Fallen World, it was Blood.
In their belief, the First Warrior who ever Ascended to the Middle World was brutally killed by the Denizens of The Middle World. His blood flowed through the Rift and into the entirety of the Fallen Worlds. His blood although diluted gave 'unimaginable power' to the Fallen Beings. It was this power that eventually helped even more Fallen Ones ascend and eventually form a treaty with the Middle World to have a ceasefire with them.
The Void
The cosmos had almost infinite worlds however there was still space left between them. These area of pure nothingness and corruption was called the Void.
Home to untold horrors.
Some said they were her failed experiments.
Others called them monsters who had been punished by her.
Regardless of what they were, one thing was clear. They were Dangerous, just a small horde of them could level an entire Fallen World. Some described them as beings with rotting flesh and horrifying physicality while others described them as incorporeal beings.
But these beings were not the true Danger of The Void. The true Danger lay in the Void itself. Any being who entered the Void, would immediately face its true hurdle. Corruption. It was a decomposition of a being's existence itself. There were no recorded survivors of the Void's Corruption except the -DATA NOT FOUND-.
