Chapter 1 - 01 — Love Conquers All~!

'Looking good, as always..'

Yuuto thought as he looked at himself with the use of a mirror.

No, admiring would be a much better term.

He had to admit, he looked good.

Real good.

His hair was two-toned, and being of medium length with most of it being dark while the part closer to the nape resembling the color of snow.

His eyes were like the fog on any occasion, blinding you, obstructing your directions as you continued to trek on, only for it to be all for naught as you are still embraced by it.

His brows were straight, like swords;skin, similar to those of what a certain Nation would call beautiful women: Jade beauties.

In short, he could definitely be considered as a pretty boy.

Whether you were a woman or perhaps... man, you would be captivated to look at him.

At first, when he realized he had transmigrated into another world, completely different from his after not so grand death, he was severely shocked.

To add to that, it was a world of fiction, where gods called Archons and the power to manipulate the elements through their blessings which were called Visions for your own desires became reality.

Yes, the world of Genshin Impact.

Suffice to say, he was stupefied for quite some time as the world he now lived in was something he once played—if even only for a short time.

Unfortunately, or perhaps a blessing in disguise, he never got too in into the game, having tried it once, immediately dropped it as he had better things to do in life.

Becoming a functional member of society seemed more pleasing to him.

The buzz about how revolutionary of a game it was never really stroke a chord to him.

While yes, the characters were aesthetically pleasing, the visuals, story and the combat looked good too, what did that mean to him when they wouldn't give him security for his future?

Especially when it was a gacha game, lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect character to capture you within its jaws of having to spend who knows amount of money for them. Oh- on their weapon too, to see their best performance and most fitting combat accessory on them too.

It seemed the consequences of his actions now came back to bite him. He only had limited knowledge of the game, thus, limited knowledge on the events and people to look out for.

This was quite a predicament for him as he resided in the Land of Eternity—Inazuma, where its Archon, the Shogun ruled with a tyrannical manner. An iron fist.

And although he was born as an heir of nobility, it was a clan which was on the decline, known for their calligraphy and writing.

However, perhaps just as any transmigrated or reincarnated person, he had a cheat.

Learning at an unprecedented level.

What might take years for others?

Bah! Give him a day to a few minutes or so.

Anyhow, Yuuto had been able to stabalize the declining wealth of the clan through a contract with the Yae Publishing House.

His current and only work was loved not just by the locals of the Nation, but even throughout Teyvat, introducing a concept that the current novels of Inazuma had not explored yet.

For example, a world with something called a system in which everyone was given abilities against catastrophes and calamities which brought out monsters from beyond such a world.

While there were already strong characters within the story, the main character at the start couldn't be considered the same.

He would start at the lowest of the lowest.

A full blown side character.

But then, he would receive his cheat at the time he would need it the most.

Allowing him to climb through the ranks quickly.

Then...

Aura!

Aura farm!

Who cares if the story is subpar?

Aura? Hype?

Those two alone are enough to carry even garbage!

Just one word—one action from the main character against foes and enemies alike would leave everyone else stunned.

Defeat?

Destruction?

Despair?

Nonsense.

Truly, this, is what makes a work everlasting.

Aura.

As said, this was enough to make his work, to be the most well received title by the Yae Publishing House to this date.

It wouldn't take too long for his stabalizing clan to once again reach its prosperity as nobility.

Perhaps even become more than it once was.

Success was at the door, knocking, ready to barge in.

Yet, for Yuuto...

'I want to do more than just this...'

He thought with a sigh, tying the back of his hair to be a small ponytail, a band on his mouth as he did so.

Even in his previous world, truthfully, he was bound to succeed if he did not die as early as he should have.

And now, here where he could not only introduce original ideas from a world that could be considered more advanced but even technology from his world?

He thought—no, believed he would become the dream that he aspired, and so much more.

One look at how much he earns from his still growing mora source was more than enough.

But magic—manipulating an element, going on adventures, seeing sights and views that one from his world could have only ever seen through the use of imagination or through replicated imagery and pixels on a screen?

It felt like a waste to do so.

His life—future, this time, had already been secured.

So, why not make the most of such a fleeting moment?

And perhaps...

Even fall in love when the time comes.

Though, that seemed still far into Yuuto's future, he couldn't help but entertain such thoughts.

He had the looks, the status, the capabilities.

Bah! If he tried,

'Even the Shogun might fall in love with me.'

Yuuto, for a moment paused his hair styling, looking around if anybody heard what he had thought.

He was sure if people did, he would at best, be considered as a narcissist, perhaps drunk.

To worst, executed by the very same person he had just thought about for even daring such a thought.

What was that term again?

Ah- right.

Toad lusting over swan meat!

Although, he did not think he would ever be considered a toad...

Anyways, if he just had the perfect opportunity, he was sure he could do so.

The only question:

How?

As he amusingly thought so, the band held by his mouth, fell, his jaw dropping.
