Chapter 10 - Aglaea's Suspicion Hasn't Stopped

"Yes, I'm here too."

Tribbie assured them from the side.

Seeing Tribbie's assurance, Castorice felt relieved and left with Phainon and Mydei.

Tribbie and Trinnon both looked towards Aglaea. Tribbie hesitated, but couldn't help saying to Aglaea, "Aya, if you keep distrusting others like this, it will backfire on you one day."

"Perhaps, but for the Flamechase Journey, I am willing to pay any price." Aglaea took off her sandals, arched her beautiful foot, and stepped into the bath.

"The herbs in this pool can greatly enhance one's physique. It just causes some minor illusions. Teacher Tribbie, rest assured, Derick won't know. He'll just think he's having a beautiful dream."

As she spoke, she gently treaded on the bottom of the pool and walked to Derick's side.

Tribbie stood by the edge of the pool, unable to enter. She looked at Aglaea, hands on her hips, her expression serious, "Aya, this is the last time. If you distrust Little Derick again next time, I will stand against you."

"I understand." Aglaea nodded, walked to Derick's side, and sat down next to him. She reached out to gently stroke his face, a few golden threads appearing and landing on Derick's wrist. Her voice was gentle, like a lover's whisper, as she slowly asked.

"What... is your name, and where are you from?"

Derick's eyes glazed over, and he softly replied, "My name is Derick, from a village called Crete."

I was prepared for this move. I never believed Aglaea would completely trust me without getting a reasonable answer.

Derick thought to himself while answering.

At this moment, his left eye, like Aglaea's, was indeed seeing illusions. His gaze fell upon the small room from before his transmigration—computer, phone, and the bustling crowd outside the window.

But his right eye saw only pitch blackness.

When entering the bath, he had activated his avatar's vision. The darkness and coldness where the avatar currently was kept Derick from falling into the illusion and maintained his composure.

Aglaea continued questioning, "Have you ever come into contact with any Titan? Or has any mysterious entity appeared near you? Have you obtained any special treasures?"

"No, before the Black Tide came and destroyed our village, I had no special experiences."

Aglaea lowered her head and continued, "Then what are your thoughts on the Flamechase Journey? Are you willing to help Castorice retrieve the Core Flame of the Death Titan, Thanatos?"

"I don't know what the Flamechase Journey is truly about. I don't know if I can help Castorice," Derick said blankly.

At the same time, he silently cursed Aglaea for testing him one last time to see if he was hallucinating. If Derick had said something like he could definitely help the Flamechase Journey, it would seem too eager, not fitting the demeanor of someone lost in a beautiful illusion.

At least Derick didn't believe that, faced with the vision of Castorice in a JK uniform shyly confessing her love with a letter, he could subconsciously declare his devotion to saving the world.

Hearing Derick's reply, Aglaea truly had nothing more to say. No matter how many doubts she had, at this moment, she could only conclude that Derick was an ordinary young boy from the borderlands.

Being able to resist the Ashen Hand was indeed a great help to the Flamechase Journey. Even if he wasn't a Golden One.

She reached out again and placed her hand on Derick's shoulder.

"Aya?" Tribbie saw her action and couldn't help but call out worriedly.

"Rest assured, My Master, I believe Derick now. I'm doing this merely to help him better absorb the medicinal effects of the pool water." Aglaea began kneading Derick's shoulder.

After massaging his shoulders, she moved on to massage his back, thighs... Aglaea kneaded every muscle in his body.

Derick felt his entire body relax considerably.

This was his second intimate contact with a Golden One today. In terms of comfort, Castorice was far inferior to Aglaea, but in terms of mood, Derick felt much more comfortable in Castorice's embrace than Aglaea's.

At the very least, he felt he could sleep soundly on Castorice's lap. Whereas in Aglaea's embrace, no matter how comfortable he felt, he had to keep his guard up, fearing what Aglaea might do.

Truly, very uncomfortable.

Derick silently committed today's events to memory.

After finishing the massage for Derick, Aglaea's palm gently brushed across Derick's cheek. Her lips moved close to his ear, softly murmuring, "Now, the medicinal effects of the pool water are gradually fading. It's time for you to leave the beautiful dream and return to the Flamechase Journey."

Watching Derick's eyes gradually regain focus, Tribbie, standing nearby, felt slightly relieved. She looked at Aglaea and said again, "Aya, try trusting others next time. If you don't trust others, they won't dare to fully trust you either. Even I have some reservations about you now."

"I understand, My Master."

Aglaea lowered her head in agreement, but her expression didn't seem like she truly agreed.

"Lady Aglaea, I feel like I had a beautiful dream," Derick 'woke up' and said to Aglaea.

Because they were soaking in the bath, their clothes clung tightly to their bodies, outlining their curves, creating a different kind of allure.

Aglaea softly said to Derick, "Mm, having a beautiful dream is good. Go now, head to the changing room first and change your clothes. I've already had the tailor prepare clothes for you. Change first."

"Mm."

Derick quickly got up and headed towards the changing room to change.

By the time he had changed his clothes and put on new sandals, he saw that Aglaea had also changed. Castorice, Phainon, and the others had returned as well.

Seeing Derick, Aglaea pointed towards Phainon and Mydei, "Derick, your current ability is very helpful to us. However, your body is currently weak, and your combat skills are insufficient. Therefore, I plan to give your strength some special training. Castorice's method of becoming stronger isn't quite suitable for you, Derick."

"And Mydei and Phainon will help you train your body properly. Especially Mydei, he comes from Castrum Kremnos and has a lot of experience in making warriors stronger."

With Derick's help, retrieving the Death Titan's Core Flame could be advanced considerably. So, during this period, Derick's personal combat ability must be improved.

"When teaching you to become stronger, I will be very strict," Phainon reached out and greeted Derick.

"Mm, thank you for your trouble."

Derick nodded repeatedly.

Mydei also said to Derick from the side, "The training plan I've prepared for you, even the youths of the Kremnos clan, many cannot endure. Rest well today, I hope you can persevere through tomorrow's training."
