Chapter 1 - The scalpel or the scissors

"The life of a D-class person is of no importance to us, let the men get rid of him."

"I'm so grateful for his right kidney that he gave to me. I wonder if I'll ever meet such a kind person like him. He was fun for a pastime."

A girl with two ponytails, long blonde hair, red lipstick, clung to a man wearing a clean suit that showed his obvious large pot belly.

The said person they were talking about was lying in the hospital bed with his eyes twitching like they would snap open at any moment.

His eyes might be closed, but the conversation going on in the background was very clear to him.

With a little slight but mighty force, Solomon opened his blurry eyes, his gaze immediately settling on the familiar girl clinging to the older wealthier-looking man.

Solomon blinked twice with little strength.

That was his girlfriend. He should be happy seeing her standing there healthy and strong—his effort to save her had paid off.

But who was that man she was clinging to? Was he her father? He had never seen that man before. Solomon wasn't so sure, and definitely, his girlfriend's father wasn't supposed to be rich-looking.

"Cassy," Solomon called in a breath, his eyes focused on the two people in front of him.

His girlfriend's eyes, that always carried love and care for him whenever she saw him, were now looking at him with fright—like she had seen a ghost.

Her expression made the twisted thought in his head tug more at his chest.

"Cassy, who is he?" Solomon finally muttered, still laying on the hospital bed with no energy to rise. Cassy bit her lips, looking at Solomon with a guilty conscience.

Was that guilt he was seeing in her eyes? But what for?

The truth was coming right in front of him, but Solomon was seeing it as an illusion. His heart chose to live in that illusion—that there was nothing wrong with the scenario he was seeing in front of him.

"Darling, there's no need to be scared. Why do you look scared of him?" the man who Cassy had been clinging to said, cupping Cassy's face, and the veins in Solomon's forehead instantly popped up.

"You dare touch her!" Another man had just touched his girlfriend's face so lovingly, and she stood there and let him touch her.

"Who are you to stop me from touching my sugar baby?" The man showed his yellow old teeth, but Cassy clung to him, ignoring his ugly yellow teeth.

"Solomon, you… I don't like you," Cassy pointed her finger at Solomon, her expression dropping, losing the little guilt that was showing in it. He was making her sugar daddy angry—she didn't need to give him a good face.

"I never liked you, Solomon. Do you think I was ever happy living in the D-class area, that I would be a D-class person forever?"

Cassy gritted her teeth and asked,

Exposing all of her thoughts that she had been hiding in her heart.

"The D-class area is not a safe place for a beauty like me. I only followed you, Solomon, because I thought that you were smart, you had a bright future. We would one day get out of the D-class area together. But I realized that it would take a long time before you will reach that length."

"Because, Solomon, you don't show interest in leaving that area. My mother was killed yesterday, Solomon, because she's a D-class person. I don't want to end like her, so this decision is the best decision that I have ever made—even if it is to dump you for the B-class man."

Cassy's words just reached Solomon's ears, but her reasons—he couldn't understand them.

He was angry for one thing.

His damn kidney!

"If you were going to cheat on me for a B-class person, you should have asked him to give you his damn right kidney!"

"Your kidney—it is now mine. You can't have it back," Cassy smiled, holding the lower side of her stomach.

Solomon clenched his fist under the sheets. His energy was coming back.

"You are so heartless!"

Solomon only spat, giving Cassy a dead glare...

She was a woman. He could do nothing to her... All that needed to be done was done.

"Darling, he looks like he's crazy. Please get rid of him for me," Cassy rubbed her hand over her sugar daddy's chest, looking at Solomon with a smirk.

Solomon's brain snapped as her words reached his ears—cheating on him wasn't enough; now she wanted to end him?

"It shall be done, darling," the man smiled. With a swipe of his finger, five hefty men in uniform black suits wearing black shades walked in.

No word escaped Solomon's lips. He stared at the men approaching his bed.

His gaze on them was so intense, like it could burn them.

Before his eyes—no one knew or saw it—Solomon was seeing a glitch, glitching before him.

He only muttered, "What is that..."

The glitch bulged—zig-zag, zig-zag...

He could imagine the noise in his head.

"What are you?" Solomon muttered in his heart.

[That question is not appearing at the right time.

A quick intro. With 2x talking speed:

Spend any cash in your wallet and get 500% cash back—that's why they call me the SSS-RANK Cashback Billionaire System]

The words of the system came like babble in his mind...

He's about to get murdered—what can this luck and money do for him?

"Sorry, host, I can't help you with analysis of the way of your survival."

One thing the cheating of Cassy taught Solomon just now was to easily read the tone of people and what they have in their hearts—even if it was a machine...

Because what he could read right now from the system… was excitement to see him get killed and take the money it just borrowed him, like a devil watching his desperation.

Time seemed to have slowed as Solomon took time to learn about the entity called "the system" that just talked to him.

As he was back to reality, he was met with the five men already around his bed, with four guns pointing at him...

Where would all the bullets go? A random thought popped in his head, but it was totally unethical of him to think so random in his situation.

Solomon blinked, licked his lips.

A light bulb lit in his head.

"How much did your boss pay you, tell me."

"You must be stupid now," one of the men laughed, looking at Solomon like a fool.

"You're dying and you're asking us such questions?"

"The boss gave us $1,000 to share if we successfully kill you," the middle man said, looking at Solomon with his lip upturned in a mocking smirk.

Solomon raised his brow, acting nonchalant.

"Huh? Just $1,000? I can give you more to spare my life."

Solomon paused and read the expressions of the men before he continued speaking.

"$10,000—I'll give it to you if you spare my life."

Solomon kept studying the men's expressions as he said those words... As expected, their eyes were widened open, looking at him with shock. He, as a D-class person, had never seen so much money in a day—talk more of these guys that were E-class, working as underground hitmen for the higher class.

"Give me your guns and I'll give you the $10,000," Solomon gestured to the men.

The men gave him a look that questioned if he thought they were stupid.

"Ok fine, I'll tell you this: $10,000 has been credited to your account. Even if you kill me, you wouldn't be able to receive the money completely, because the law demands for the other party carrying out the transaction to be alive for at least 28 hours before the receiver has access to the money."

All that Solomon said was just a common rule known in the world—this showed how shady the system works.

"Damn bro, I just saw an alert—he's not lying," one of the hitmen said.

"We can kill him and take the money," another one said.

"Didn't you hear what he said? Do you want $10,000 to go to waste?"

The wiser of the hitmen said.

And the men all kept quiet, slowly retracting their guns from Solomon.

"You guys, kill him... it must be a bluff! I have known Solomon for 5 years—I know his net worth!

The highest he can afford is just $1,000!"

Cassy screamed, pointing at the men. The men just gave her a dirty look, walking past her.

Her sugar daddy fumed more with anger,

Wanting to threaten the men, but a single glare from them kept him quiet. He was just a middle-aged man; he still had a lot of young women to play with.

After the hitmen had exited the place,

Solomon received the system message:

50k$ cashback credited to your wallet

New notice:

Hidden mission complete:

The host has deserves the SSS-RANK Cashback BILLIONAIRE System."

Solomon didn't want to focus on the system; his eyes were just on Cassy and her lover, but his lips still couldn't help but twitch at the system. He already was suspicious that the system had its own secret plan that only demanded him to use deep thoughts and wisdom to decide.

He guessed he was lucky. Solomon breathed a relief breath, and his gaze now focused on the problem at hand.

"Cassy, decide—which tool should I use to get my kidney out of you, the scalpel or the scissors?"
