Chapter 24 - Chapter 24 You Scold Tang San’s Father

Hearing Yu Xiaogang's words, Ye Qiu just smiled indifferently.

They were geniuses with innate full soul power, while Yu Xiaogang was just a freeloader. Where did he get such authority?

Ye Qiu didn't care, but Xiao Wu wasn't used to Yu Xiaogang. Full of dissatisfaction, she pointed at his nose and cursed, "Are you blind? They were the ones who asked for a beating first!"

But Yu Xiaogang didn't take her seriously at all. He glanced at her and Ye Qiu indifferently, then looked at his beloved disciple, Tang San.

Yu Xiaogang walked slowly to Tang San's side, patted his shoulder, "Little San, let's go to the second floor for dinner, and then I'll take you to my room for a good chat."

"No, Teacher, I'd better stay with my roommates." Tang San shook his head. He didn't want to be a maverick. Maybe he could in the village, but not out here.

"Alright then, wait for me at the entrance of the dining hall after you finish eating." Yu Xiaogang let go of Tang San's shoulder and turned his head to instruct Ling Feng and the others, "Disperse!"

Then, without saying more, he walked straight to the second floor of the dining hall.

Ling Feng and the others, after saying harsh words, also quickly ran away dejectedly.

"What kind of master is this poker face? He's just a blind man!" Xiao Wu, still somewhat indignant, looked at Yu Xiaogang's back and cursed to herself.

Tang San stood aside, frowning, feeling very uncomfortable. This was the teacher he had knelt and kowtowed to!

"Sister Xiao Wu, keep your voice down. He's the Dean's friend, after all." Wang Sheng quickly told Xiao Wu to speak softly, then turned to look at Tang San, with some doubt in his eyes, and asked, "Speaking of which, Brother San, why do you call him teacher? He doesn't seem to teach classes."

Ye Qiu interjected at the right time, "That's because Little San has become his disciple."

"Really?!"

Wang Sheng and the little brothers beside him were dumbfounded.

"How can it be fake?"

Tang San looked at Wang Sheng strangely, not understanding why he had such a big reaction. His forehead still hurt; it couldn't be any more real.

And Wang Sheng looked at Tang San with a face full of surprise, leaned into his ear, and whispered, "No way, Brother San, let me tell you... This master has a terrible reputation. He's been at the academy for a long time and I haven't seen him do anything. He's just a freeloader, and I heard that he's almost fifty and still only a Great Soul Master. I'm afraid he even put that title of master on himself."

"Enough!"

Hearing these words from Wang Sheng, Tang San finally couldn't help it. A cold light flickered in his eyes, and he vented all the anger, including Xiao Wu's share, which even scared Wang Sheng back a few steps.

He said coldly, "I hope this is the first time, and the last time. It's not your place to evaluate my teacher! Thank you for your kindness, but I think I don't need your treat!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Tang San walked out of the dining hall without looking back.

"Isn't... Is he crazy?!"

Wang Sheng was also a little scared. He was just kindly reminding Tang San. And everything he said was the truth; he wasn't spreading rumors.

"Ye Qiu, what's wrong with that guy?"

Xiao Wu also looked at Tang San strangely. For that deadpan face, he didn't even eat.

"Nothing, his dad was cursed by you guys, he's just a little angry." Ye Qiu reached out and pinched Xiao Wu's tender face, a slight smile appearing on his face.

Xiao Wu, who was still wondering, suddenly blushed, pouting and looking at Ye Qiu unhappily. Her puffed-up cheeks, however, made Ye Qiu even more unrestrained as he pinched them a few more times.

"Hmph!"

Xiao Wu snorted, swatted away Ye Qiu's devil claws, and turned away her blushing little face.

"Alright Wang Sheng, ignore him, Sister Xiao Wu is starving."

...

While Ye Qiu and the others were eating in the dining hall, Tang San had already returned to the dormitory, still dealing with a meal of dry food and water.

Immediately, Tang San returned to the entrance of the dining hall, waiting for Yu Xiaogang's arrival.

People came and went, and many looked at Tang San with puzzled eyes, but Tang San just stood straight, with his eyelids lowered, as if he hadn't seen them.

After waiting for about a quarter of an hour, Yu Xiaogang came out of the dining hall. Looking at Tang San's calm demeanor, Yu Xiaogang was more and more satisfied with this disciple of his with twin martial spirits.

He believed that under his guidance, Tang San would definitely become his golden signboard in the Soul Master world!

He, Yu Xiaogang, could... take his great achievements and fiercely shut the mouths of the world!

"Teacher!"

Tang San quickly stepped forward and bowed respectfully.

"Here, you're growing. Eat more." Yu Xiaogang forced a stiff smile and put the wrapped chicken drumstick he was holding into Tang San's hand.

"Thank you, Teacher." Tang San looked at Yu Xiaogang's somewhat stiff smiling face, but his heart felt warm.

"Let's go, Little San." Yu Xiaogang took Tang San's small hand and walked towards his residence.

At this time, Ye Qiu and the others also happened to come out of the dining hall.

Looking at their backs, Ye Qiu knew they were going to discuss soul hunting.

Xiao Wu beside him pouted and complained, "Ah~ When will I have money! Sister Xiao Wu doesn't want to keep eating rotten cabbage leaves."

"Won't you have money if you become a Soul Master quickly?"

Ye Qiu glanced at her, and at the same time reminded himself to seize the time. He immediately turned to Wang Sheng and said, "You guys go back first, I need to find the academy teachers to discuss soul hunting."

"Understood, Boss!"

Wang Sheng's face showed a smile. As long as Ye Qiu became a Soul Master, their work-study students would be worry-free and no longer have to be anxious.

After speaking, Ye Qiu walked towards the teaching office.

In his impression, when he reported yesterday, that Director Su seemed to be a good candidate.

When Ye Qiu came to his door, things went smoothly. Director Su readily agreed to the soul hunting matter. And he said that children with innate full soul power were precious treasures that the academy couldn't get enough of.

Of course, Ye Qiu believed this.

In the afternoon, Ye Qiu was quietly sitting on the bed cultivating, while Xiao Wu was lying on the bed, occasionally looking at Ye Qiu and Ye Qiu's bag, feeling bored.

Tang San came back very late.

When he came back, there was already a belt around his waist.

Ye Qiu knew this thing, a storage soul tool: Twenty-Four Bridges Bright Moonlight. He thought it must be filled with Luo Sanpao's stinky farts' source, white radishes.

However, compared to Twenty-Four Bridges Bright Moonlight, Ye Qiu actually preferred the next line: Where does the Jade Man teach the flute?

Thinking of this, Ye Qiu couldn't help but glance at the little rabbit who was unhappy because Tang San was going to give her white radishes to eat. Could she?

"Ye Qiu, why are you looking at me like that..."

Xiao Wu raised her head and stared at Ye Qiu angrily, with a hint of curiosity.

"Because you're beautiful."

Ye Qiu smiled slightly at the corner of his mouth, then closed his eyes and continued to cultivate.

"Ah?!"

Xiao Wu was stunned. Looking at Ye Qiu who was cultivating with his eyes closed, a large blush spread across her face...

"Silly rabbit!"
