Chapter 1 - Prologue: My Turning Point

Riku Aoyama was a regular 22-year-old with a low end-meets part-time job, a pile of dept, and a fully access without escape to misfortune. Living in a matchstick box apartment in Tokyo, he is an addict in ramen(it's the only thing he can afford), gaming, and daydreams or thinking of escaping his unfair and pathetic life.

That is, until he nearly got hit by a glowing vending machine.

"Am I a drunk or getting crazy? I think I'm just hungry". Then a sigh left in his mouth.

He wasn't drunk. He hadn't smoked anything. But there it was—an actual vending machine glowing in the middle of a sketchy alley behind his apartment.

"Buy a better life," it read in bold neon letters.

Riku, ever the dumbass, pressed the only button that wasn't jammed. The machine vibrated and spat out a black card with the words:

INFINITE WALLET SYSTEM INSTALLED.

Before he could scream scam, a screen blinked into existence in front of him.

Welcome, Riku Aoyama. You now possess the Infinite Wallet System. Current balance: 1000 Points Exchange rate: 1 Point = 1 Yen equivalent in value. You may buy:

"...The hell?"

A new prompt appeared:

First-Time User Bonus! Choose one:

A) Practical Skill Pack (includes Cooking Mastery, Basic Martial Arts, Car Maintenance, and Survival Skills) and 1 Random Legendary Object

B) Upgrade System to Hidden Tier

Greedy and reckless, Riku slammed B.

The screen glitched, then changed:

System Upgraded: Hidden Tier Activated You can now buy or sell anything—including luck, emotions, time, and even fate.

WARNING: High-risk interactions in world bending power may attract attention from higher beings.(Then he passed out).

When he woke up, he had full access to the System. The next few hours were spent buying minor stuff: a comfy mattress, gourmet food, a free shower heater repair, and a hilarious boost in bedroom stamina—"did heaven heard and fulfill my mourn? ," he claimed.

But his life truly changed the moment he purchased "Social Charisma +100" and "Enhanced Perception". At his job in the convenience store, people listened when he spoke. Girls smiled. Even his stingy boss gave him a raise. He also caught a shoplifter with a sleight-of-hand technique he didn't know he had.

That night, the System gave him a quest:

Main Quest: Build Your Empire Objective: Form your first faction of followers (Minimum 3).

Reward: 10,000 Points + Mystery Reward Bonus: First follower must have a high affinity rating with you.

And as fate would have it, the busty delinquent girl who lived in the apartment across from him—Kira Hanazawa—knocked on his door that same night, eyes red, bruised, and asking, "Hey… can I stay here for a while?"

Riku, a bit stunned, could only think one thing.

"This system is dangerous… and I think I love it."
