Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Lucian POV

As I opened the door behind my mate, he fell backward. I quickly grabbed him, pushed him against the wall, and closed the door behind us. We entered his room, and I looked down at him. I could just eat him up.

"So... my little mate, can you explain to me why you tried to avoid me all day?" I said, looking down at him. He looked up at me with his beautiful violet eyes.

I slowly brushed his hair out of his eye and slipped it behind his ear. I looked down at him with a smirk. "Hmm?" I hummed, waiting for his answer.

He looked away, and I didn't get an answer. I grabbed his chin gently and made him look at me. I slowly leaned closer to him. "Can you explain it to me, please?" I said in a gentler voice.

"I didn't..." he said, and I raised one of my eyebrows.

"You didn't?" I asked, and he nodded.

I chuckled. How cute he is. I leaned closer to him, our noses touched. "You know, you are so cute that I could easily eat you up if I wanted to." But I was surprised as I heard a growl from him. I pulled back and looked at him.

"What was that?" I asked, a little surprised. Then he pushed me away.

"Don't think because you are an alpha too you can do anything you want to me," he said, and I smiled at him.

"I think you know that I'm an alpha too," he said.

I let out a low hum and leaned closer. "Yeah, I know that. But you know, I waited for you for more than 5 years, and now that I have you... I can't control myself and my wolf to not just mark you and push you onto the bed and—" I couldn't even finish before he put his hand on my mouth.

"Don't finish that," he said. I couldn't help but smile against his hand. It was warm and soft, and it sent sparks through my body.

I pulled back slightly and looked down at him. "Are you sure? I think I could make you feel pleasure..." I said with a smirk on my lips.

I noticed his cheeks getting a little red, and I smirked, impressed with my work. "But you know, little mate, it's sad that you are trying to push me away. It makes me sad..." I said with puppy eyes.

"Are you sure you want to see your mate sad?" I said and leaned closer. "Are you sure?" I whispered into his ear and grabbed his hand. "Did I make you angry?" I asked with a playful tone.

I pushed him towards his bed, and he slipped and fell onto the bed. I chuckled and looked at him like a predator at his prey.

"You know, you are just making it easier for me," I said as I slowly got on the bed and on top of him. His eyes slowly widened, making me chuckle again. "Is there something wrong? Or maybe it's just that someone is shy?" I teased and leaned down.

I put one of my legs between his two, and I could feel him tense up. I smirked and moved even closer. He quickly put his hands on my chest.

"Stop it," he said innocently. I was surprised how innocent he was. I hummed. "Why...? You don't like it when I'm close to you or touching you?" I asked.

I ran a hand down his arm. I could feel him shivering and his cheek turning red again, but he shook his head. "Don't do it," he said.

I sighed at this. It was sad that my mate didn't want my touch. "You shouldn't scare him! You should do this slowly!" Fenrir said. "Let me take over!" he said, and after a minute of thought, I let him.

I didn't have any control over my body anymore, and my eyes must have turned red.

"Are you okay, little mate?" Our mate's eyes widened as he noticed the change. He must have noticed that I'm no longer controlling this body.

"I apologize for him... but it's really hard to control ourselves when we waited this long for you," our mate nodded, and I could feel him relaxing a little. "Is it okay if we just hug you?" Fenrir asked in a gentle voice. Our mate thought for a minute before nodding slowly.

Fenrir smiled, lay down next to him, and pulled him towards us. Even though I didn't control this body now, I could still feel the sparks that were sent by the touch.

I could feel the peace and warmth of the moment, and I wouldn't want to lose this. "His name is Axel," Fenrir said through our link.

"Wha—How did you know that?" I asked in our link.

"If you were smart enough, you would have noticed that his name was written on his door," he said, and I was surprised I didn't notice that.

"What is your name?" Axel asked a little hesitantly from Fenrir.

"My name is Fenrir," he said. "And you, little one?" Fenrir asked, and Axel's eyes slowly turned the color of gold.

"I'm Echo, and don't call me little," Echo let out a low growl, and Fenrir looked at him before laughing. "You are funny," Fenrir said as he pulled Echo closer to us, and I think Echo didn't like that.

"And you are annoying!" Echo said as he sat up. Fenrir hummed and looked at Echo. "And you are cute like a puppy," Fenrir said with a smirk, trying to annoy Echo more.

"You—" but before Echo could even say anything, he was pushed down. Fenrir moved closer and put his head next to Echo's neck to breathe in his scent. After that, Echo didn't really try to put up a fight with Fenrir.

The air around them seemed to hum with anticipation, every breath charged with unspoken words. Fenrir's voice carried a sense of urgency as he whispered once more, "Now be quiet and try to enjoy this moment."

Echo stopped struggling, and I felt his body relax in my embrace. The warmth and peace of the moment washed over him, and I sensed his unease melting away. In the stillness, we both found a sense of tranquility, cocooned in the comfort of each other's presence.
