Riku plays with Momo by making her fly, not literally, and she seems to enjoy it a lot as she keeps giggling.
-Riku(thinking): {Hey! Maybe it isn't as bad being a father as I thought.}
Momo does a karate move and hits Riku's other eye.
-Riku(thinking): {though, I'll need to adapt to this…}
Flashback, Riku, 8 years old.
Riku and his family were expecting company from his cousin's family.
-Riku's mom: "I heard my dear younger sister finally had a kid after so long, I was waiting to become the cool auntie."
-Riku's dad: "How lucky you are, I am an only child, I am never gonna have nephews."
Riku's dad cried in defeat while his mom smug at him.
-Riku's older brother: "Ohh look, they arrived!"
They look outside, and it was them, and they open the door.
-Riku's mom: "It's been so long, younger sister! How was your married life?"
-Riku's aunt: "Hello elder sister, it's a pleasure you ask that question…it's so hard!"
-Riku's dad: "You gotta adapt as fast as possible, I'll tell you, our 3 sons weren't an exception."
-Riku: "Hello, auntie."
-Riku's older brother: "Did you bring any candies?!"
-Riku's aunt: "Oh, look who is here, it's my nephews! Of course, I brought candies, just for you two."
She gives the candies to them.
-Riku's mom: "Come on now, don't stay here!"
-Riku's aunt: "Just waiting for my husband, he is the shy one."
The husband finally arrived with their things.
-Aunt's husband: "Sorry for the late, my love, Nice to meet you all."
-Riku's mom: "Oh my, so you must be my brother-in-law."
-Aunt's husband: "Y-yes, it's me."
They finally entered inside as the adults were chatting and the kids were playing.
-Riku: "Yo, Onii-chan, will you have kids in the future?"
-Riku's older bro: "Huh? What's with the question?"
-Riku: "Just answer it, or are you afraid?"
-Riku's older bro: "Hmph, Me scared? Don't make me laugh, I can have kids easily in the future, even if they'd be crying all night like you did to mom and dad when you were just a baby."
-Riku: "I'm telling you that you were a baby too at some points."
-Riku's older bro: "You're right, what about you, will you have kids in the future?"
-Riku(thinking): "Hmm…I think I'll pass."
-Riku's older bro: "Are you saying you won't?"
-Riku: "Yep, the work looks hard and annoying, I am not gonna lose my time trying to make a baby stop."
-Riku's older bro: "Oh, c'mon, be a bit realistic, kids may be annoying, but they can bring you joy when you'll mostly need it, and they can even help you at home with chores and other things."
-Riku: "You're saying it like kids are just made to be used as tools."
-Riku's older bro: "I didn't mean it like that, though we do help the parents a lot with all chores."
-Riku: "…still, I don't need kids to help me, I can do everything on my own, and kids can be expensive when we talk about money, so if I am by all myself, money isn't gonna be a problem."
-Riku's older bro: "You do what you want, lil bro, but I am pretty sure at some point in your life, you'll change your mind."
-Riku: "Like it would ever happen…"
Years later, Riku, 18 years old.
-Riku: "Crap am gonna be late!"
Riku was rushing to the hospital after his brother called him, apparently, his wife had just given birth.
-Riku: "I am coming!" Riku arrives in the hospital room.
-Riku's older bro: "Oh, you are finally here!"
He was holding his new baby, and his wife was resting in the bed.
-Riku's older bro: "Say hey to your little niece."
Riku approached his brother, who was holding the baby. He looked at her face, she was so cute, and his brother handed her over to Riku so he could hold her too.
-Riku: "So she is my niece??"
-Riku's older bro: "Yep, isn't she cute?"
-Riku: "Yeah, she is…" Riku had a moment of thought.
-Riku(thinking): {This face has to be protected.}
Riku started to hold her a bit too tightly.
-Riku's older bro: "Hey! Be careful, though."
-Riku: "ahh crap, my bad!" Riku hands her back to her dad.
-Riku's older bro: "Still think you won't have kids?"
-Riku(caught off guard): "AHH uhh of course I won't, but…I can be a cool unc, that's better than nothing."
-Riku's older bro: "Haha, sure you will."
Back to the present.
-Riku(thinking): {I still didn't wanted children tho! but I can adapt…}
