Location: Nova Heights Central Park – Noon
It was supposed to be a chill day.
No suits. No meetings. No security briefings. Just the Vale family… and one of the largest, most beautifully advanced public parks in the world—designed by Nova herself.
Rolling green hills, floating garden pods, serene lakes with hoverboats, AI-powered refreshment bots gliding between pathways, and digital butterflies that responded to laughter.
What could possibly go wrong?
Scene: Enter the Family (In Style)
They didn't mean to make a scene.
But when Damon arrived with Nova, Arielle, and Elina—followed by Zeke, Rico, and the younger generation—all stepping out of sleek, floating transports dressed like casual royalty…
The entire park paused.
"Is that…?"
"It's them. That's THEM."
"Don't stare—wait, no, do stare!"
"He looks hotter in person—how?!"
Scene: Pretending to Be Normal
Damon (grinning): "Let's blend in. Be subtle."
Elina: "Damon. You're glowing."
Damon: "…I'm glowing with humility."
Meanwhile, Zeke was already posing with fans for holo-pics. Rico was negotiating for six cotton candies. Caelan and the girls were attempting to buy pretzel chips in peace.
It wasn't working.
Scene: Park Mayhem Begins
A kid tried to "borrow" Caelan's hoverboard… and ended up zooming 100 feet into a fountain.
Nova's interactive garden bots mistook Rico's voice for a command override and turned feral.
Arielle accidentally sat on a bench that turned into a mechanical snake chair for posture correction. She screamed. Damon laughed for 10 straight minutes.
Liora (snorting): "This is why we can't have normal family time."
Azra: "Speak for yourself. I just hacked the drone vendor. Free churros all day."
Damon (proudly): "That's my girl."
Scene: Chaotic Calm
Eventually, they found a shaded spot near the lake—soft grass, floating cushions, shade canopies.
Zeke played a board game with Liora and Rico.
Damon lay down with Nova resting on his chest, Elina reading beside him, and Arielle braiding his hair—badly.
Damon (teasing): "You missed three sections."
Arielle: "It's abstract art, Damon."
Nova: "It's chaos."
Damon: "It's family."
Final Scene: The Park Pauses Again
As the sun began to set, families all around the park watched the Vales—laughing, relaxing, completely unguarded.
Not kings.
Not rulers.
Just people.
And for the first time in a long time… the world remembered what peace looked like.
