Chapter 133 - Chapter 133 — “The Family Visit”

Location: Avalon Beach – Saturday Afternoon

The beachfront was buzzing.

Tables lined the sand. Catered lunch buffets shimmered under white tents. Students lounged in beach chairs while faculty guided arriving guests toward welcome signs.

Today was Family Day.

Parents, siblings, and relatives from all walks of life poured in—smiling, hugging, snapping pictures with their Avalon teens.

But it wasn't until a sleek black SUV, a white coupe, and a luxury golf cart all pulled up in synchronized silence that the beach really stopped.

Heads turned.

Phones tilted upward.

And gasps whispered like wind through the crowd.

Scene: The Vale Family Arrival

Six figures stepped out of the vehicles.

They looked like they'd stepped off the cover of a fashion magazine—or maybe off a spaceship designed by royalty.

Damon Vale — tall, calm, timeless. Sharp jawline, eyes like polished steel, a quiet power in every step.

Nova Vale — hair flowing, smile soft, her sunglasses alone could bankrupt a student loan.

Arielle Vale — elegance incarnate, silk wrap dress, laugh like honeyed glass.

Elina Vale — glowing skin, piercing gaze, she wore casual linen and still made it look couture.

Zeke & Rico — dressed like rich young kings who didn't try, because they didn't have to.

All of them looked under 25.

Students around the beach blinked in confusion.

"Are they students from another school?"

"Are they a modeling agency?"

"How is every single one of them hot?"

Scene: The Reunion

Caelan, Azra, and Liora spotted them first—and ran.

The siblings didn't care about stares. They sprinted across the sand like kids on Christmas morning.

Caelan clapped hands with Zeke and Rico like they were about to start a rap battle.

Azra hugged Nova and Arielle so tightly that her sunglasses fell off.

Liora threw herself into Damon's arms without hesitation.

Caelan (grinning): "Y'all seriously coordinated your entrance?"

Rico: "We don't coordinate. We arrive."

Elina: "And we brought snacks."

Scene: Everyone Else Watches in Awe

The friend group stood at a distance—watching the exchange like a movie playing in real life.

Zaria: "There's no way that's their family."

Jace: "Are they sponsored by skincare brands?"

Selene (wide-eyed): "They all look the same age."

Noah: "They look like Greek myths… but cooler."

Isla (whispering): "We need to be adopted."

Scene: Laughter, Lounging, and Lighthearted Chaos

Back at the beach house, the entire family + friend group lounged under giant umbrellas.

Nova handed out sunglasses from her "personal summer stash."

Arielle made charcuterie boards prettier than half the sunset.

Damon grilled fish with a chef's level of precision.

Zeke and Rico started a beach football game and intentionally lost to make the teens feel like legends.

Azra (to Liora): "They're showing off."

Liora: "Let them. Everyone's watching and no one knows who they are."

Caelan: "Exactly as planned."

Scene: Wholesome Family Banter

Rico (handing a coconut to Jace): "You're the athlete, right? Heard about your dance win."

Jace (grinning): "Uh… thanks? Do I say 'sir?'"

Zeke: "Nah. You say, 'when's the next game?'"

Nova (to Noah): "Thank you for looking out for my daughter."

Noah (blushing): "It's nothing, ma'am."

Liora: "Noah, breathe."

Elina (to Isla): "You're creative. I can tell. What's your favorite medium?"

Isla (softly): "Ink. And light."

Elina (smiling): "Good answer."

Final Scene: Sunset and Smirks

As the sky turned violet-orange, the family stood with their arms around the siblings—backs to the ocean, cameras flashing from every other group on the beach.

No one knew who they were.

No one dared ask.

But the whispers wouldn't stop for weeks.

"They're just… known as the Vale family."

"Nobody knows what they do."

"But somehow, everything about them feels important."
