Chapter 12 - Episode 12: The Blood Ledger

**Episode 12: The Blood Ledger**

The underground café in Gulshan was nearly empty. Dim lights, whispered jazz, and a back room guarded by a curtain, not a door. The kind of place where secrets had more value than coffee.

Ayaan sat across from **Zohan**, the tech genius who had once saved his life — now fully roped into this unfolding war. Elina sat nearby, eyes sharp, watching everyone who entered.

On the screen in front of them: a complex web of shell companies, off-shore accounts, and fake NGOs.

Zohan tapped a glowing node.

"This one's the nerve center. A company called **Sable Core Holdings**. Registered in the Cayman Islands. Supposedly a shipping firm."

"And it funds Reza?" Ayaan asked.

"Not directly. That would be too simple. But look — this node connects to a fund called '*Meryx Trust*' based in Malaysia. And that… funnels money into a string of Bangladeshi tech startups — one of which is located right here in the city."

He zoomed in.

**"Black Dune Technologies."**

Ayaan's eyes narrowed.

"That name was in the files I found in Reza's surveillance den."

Zohan nodded. "It's a front. All it does is hire data analysts and network engineers. But none of them know who they really work for."

Elina leaned in. "We hit Black Dune. Quietly. Find their internal routing logs, financial flows. If we can prove it's laundering money into paramilitary operations…"

"…we can expose Reza to the world," Ayaan finished. "And cut off his war chest."

Zohan hesitated.

"There's one problem. Black Dune is protected. Their server's housed inside a private military-grade node farm — triple-layered encryption, live counter-hacking agents, and off-grid backups."

Elina stood, already strapping her knife to her leg.

"Then we don't hack it."

Ayaan looked up at her.

"We infiltrate it."
