Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: I'm A Stark

His feet up upon is kitchen table a young man by the name of Greg watched the post credit-scene of Avengers: Endgame.

Small tears streaming down his face.

Just as he did when he first saw it during its opening weekend in theaters a few years ago.

Like he had with all Marvel films, ever since high school when he first went to see the Avengers in theaters.

Which was the film that sucked Greg into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Now Greg had always been a weeb.

His hobbies including videogames, manga & anime, and even the mainstream comics from Marvel, as well as DC.

During his childhood he had grown up watching television shows such as Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, Marvel's: Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Iron Man: Armored Adventures, X-Men Evolution, etc...

But it wasn't until he got older that he really became a self-taught expert in all those subjects.

Including the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Which Greg now knew like the back of his hand.

He even watched all the mini-series in Disney+.

Despite many of them not being that good.

Save for those like Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Moon Knight.

At least in his opinion.

Moving on.

As the post-credit scene ended Greg picked up his remote and used it to exit from the Disney+ app. He then turned off his television before stifling a yawn.

After he did Greg picked up his phone and read the time on its screen.

3:15 AM.

"Damn, to think it was that late already." He muttered to himself.

Using his free hand to stifle another yawn.

After he did Greg stood up and went to use the bathroom before going to get in his bed. After which he immediately began trying to get some sleep, since he had to be at work in a couple of hours.

Which is why he honestly would've been asleep earlier.

But Greg had been busy fulfilling a little personal tradition.

Re-watching MCU films so he could compare them to the new one he was going to see.

The Thunderbolts.

Which Greg heard was going to be quite good.

Though he had to see it for himself.

But for him this film would just be the appetizer for the Fantastic Four coming out in July.

Which really had Greg excited. Given all he had seen from the trailers and other leaked images surrounding the film.

He also hoped it lived up to the hype. Especially since the legendary Marvel god Stan Lee considered the Fantastic Four his greatest creation.

"Fiege, you and your people better not mess this up." Greg muttered.

Because in all honesty ever since the end of the Infinity Saga for the MCU most all the films in the series in recent years had been severely lacking.

"Really Marvel, don't mess this up." Greg said once more.

Just before he completely entered dreamland.

Stifling a morning yawn Greg slowly but surely opened his eyes.

He then got up from his bed and handled morning business before starting to get ready for work. Despite still being extremely tired.

Leaving his house, after he finished everything up, Greg got in his car and began heading to work. Until eventually he arrived, and got right to it.

Going through the motions until his first break of the day arrived.

When it did Greg found his usual empty spot, in the loading bay, since he worked in a mega store, pulled out his phone, and then pulled up the Ultimate Comics from Marvel on his phone.

Which Greg had just began reading last week.

Given those comics are what a large portion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is based on. Despite how dark some of them get.

Yet despite this Greg couldn't put them down.

Finishing up an Ultimate Spider-Man comic Greg stretched his arms up and into the air. He then checked the time on his phone and realized he only had five minutes left on his break. "Whelp, break times over." He muttered.

Greg then slipped his phone back into his pocket and began heading to clock back in.

*Beep! Beep!*

But as he was walking across the bay to do so he noticed the back of one of the trucks accelerating straight towards him.

And before he had time to truly react Greg found himself struck by the back of the truck.

Losing his life in the process.

Unaware of what was to come.

[May, 1970]

Entering into their New York Home famed inventor, industrialist, and founder of Stark Industries, Howard Stark Jr., and his wife Maria Stark, pushed in two strollers.

For they had just returned home from several days at the hospital, where Maria had given birth to hers and Howards children.

Two boys.

Identical twins in fact.

The eldest one having been named Gregory Steven Stark.

While the second born was named Anthony Edward Stark.

Who sported black hair and blue eyes.

Unlike his elder twin Gregory, who came in the world twenty minutes earlier, who sported their mothers blonde hair, though he also had blue eyes.

Looking at her children Maria couldn't help but smile brightly. "Howard these are our boys."

"I know Maria. I know." Howard replied.

A happy smile on his own face.

Seeing this Tony grinned happily at his parents.

Meanwhile Gregory simply had a confused expression on his face.

Because what no one in his new family knew was that inside of Gregory existed the soul of an adult man, who was from a different reality.

'Holy shit! I'm in Marvel!' Gregory thought. 'Wait, holy shit! I'm in Marvel as a member of the Stark family!'

These thoughts leaving him both utterly terrified and utterly excited at the exact same time.
