He was a master of a dead tongue, his skill a quaint curiosity fetching him meager coin in a society drunk on technological supremacy. Poverty was his shadow, irrelevance his constant companion.
Then, the unthinkable tore through the heavens. The Kryll descended upon Earth, not with expected might, but with a chilling, organic grace. Their alien weaponry pulsed with insidious energy, laughing in the face of human shields. Their collective consciousness moved with terrifying, unpredictable synergy, turning humanity's sophisticated defenses into useless scrap. The invincible towers of progress became tombs, and a primal fear choked the cries of technological superiority.

Just an explanation of the elements used in the novel 


A system that grants mysterious abilities to a swordsman. It offers missions to the swordsman and in returns pays the swordsman. 


It doesn't involve levels just Classes. The user has the ability to rank from class to another higher class.


Aliens who have invaded and colonized Earth. They differ in ranks and class.
