Chapter 67 - A little bit of R&R

Galen didn't know what Kael'thas did after getting the scroll, but he could guess that the teleportation scroll would cause a great shock to the high elves' upper echelons.

At this moment, Galen had already returned to the shop under his name. Ignoring the guards who were packing up the goods, he went straight to the lounge upstairs.

He skillfully connected to the Heart of Origin and entered the interface of the Kings' Altar. He had already received a notification on the way back that the hero template of the Kings' Altar had been updated, so he couldn't wait to come back and take a look.

A tall figure had appeared in the Kings' Altar, wearing a red robe, red shoulder pads, a black cloak, and golden hair.

Blood Mage

Hero Type: Intelligence Hero, Fire Magic Proficiency

Talent Skills: Flame Strike, Banish, Mana Siphon, Summon Phoenix

Hero Level: 8-10 Tier

Summoning Requirements: 1. Unlock Level 3 Castle

High Elf Spirit x1

Galen felt a bit uncomfortable. Summoning a new hero required a high elf spirit, which wasn't easy. Where could he find one?

Could he go to someone's ancestral grave to find it? Galen did remember that when he played a blood elf alt in his previous life, after leaving the newbie village, there was a place called Sunstrider Isle in the northwest corner of Silvermoon City, near the Farstrider Enclave, where there was a place called Dath'Remar Shrine, the resting place of Dath'Remar, the leader of the highborne exiles, the first Sun King who led his people across the sea and established the kingdom of Quel'Thalas.

Digging up Kael'thas' ancestral grave, not to mention how difficult it would be, Galen couldn't bring himself to do such a thing. He would still have to deal with him often in the future; he couldn't get over that hurdle in his heart. If it were a troll, he might consider it, after all, there was a lot of gold in their tombs.

Although the third hero was in sight, the unlocking conditions gave Galen a headache. A level 3 castle was fine, as it was within his expectations. With the current speed of troop production, if he had another year, he could accumulate 100,000 people.

The spirit was a bit difficult to handle. With Galen's personality, he would rather not have it at all, but if he did, he wanted the best. The mage with the best bloodline among the high elves should be the Sunstrider family, after all, Kael'thas was the prototype of the Blood Mage.

A flash of lightning struck in his mind.

A new idea came to mind. If it really didn't work, he wouldn't summon the Blood Mage. He would find some time to go south and meet the Bronzebeard dwarves of Ironforge, or the Wildhammer dwarves of the Hinterlands, and unlock the Mountain King.

Galen had already thought of the candidate for the spirit.

Kill the Dark Iron dwarf king, Dagran Thaurissan, obtain his soul, and summon the Mountain King.

Speaking of the Dark Iron dwarves, they were once one of the three major clans of the dwarves, living together with the Bronzebeard dwarves and the Wildhammer dwarves in the city of Ironforge in the Dun Morogh mountains in the south.

They all pledged allegiance to the High King. Later, after the High King passed away, the three clans fought over who would be the boss, almost beating each other to death. Later, the Bronzebeard clan won and exiled the other two clans.

The Wildhammer dwarves migrated north and established a new city, Grim Batol, in the mountains south of the Arathi Highlands. The Dark Iron dwarves went south and established Blackrock Depths in the Redridge Mountains.

Originally, it was reasonable for the winner to enjoy the spoils of war and for the loser to give up. Moreover, the two losing clans had also established new kingdoms. You play yours, I play mine, everyone is happy.

But the Dark Iron dwarves had fiery tempers and couldn't stand it. Their leader and his wife were unconvinced. The more they thought about it, the angrier they became. No, they had to win back.

So, the couple split up. The husband went to attack Ironforge, the city of the Bronzebeard dwarves, and the wife went to attack Grim Batol, which was established by the Wildhammer dwarves, and they almost won.

The problem was that they were too confident or stupid. Why did they split their forces? Did they have too many troops?

If you have a lot of troops, you can just rush over in one wave. If that doesn't work, you can just box-select all of them.

Why fight two at once?

The Bronzebeard dwarves had exiled the Wildhammer dwarves, and their relationship had cracks, making it difficult to form an alliance. You should have just attacked Ironforge directly. Would the Wildhammer dwarves just watch the show?

As a result, the side that attacked Ironforge was rubbed on the ground and directly fled back to their old home. The other side was also unsuccessful and completely collapsed, with GG flashing on the screen.

Later, they even summoned the fire elemental lord in the Redridge Mountains, directly blasting the Redridge Mountains, which were no smaller than the Alterac Mountains, in half, turning it into the Burning Steppes, and their own people were enslaved by the fire elemental lord Ragnaros.

This was the dwarven civil war known as the War of the Three Hammers.

The Dark Iron dwarves' mysterious operation!

The current Emperor Thaurissan is the son of these two leaders. His most famous deed was abducting the contemporary Bronzebeard dwarf princess and making her devoted to him, giving birth to a son.

The Bronzebeard king was unhappy. His son-in-law was a mortal enemy, which was unacceptable. So, the father-in-law sent someone to kill his own son-in-law, wanting to take back his daughter. As a result, the daughter broke with her father because her father killed her husband, and she inherited her husband's throne and continued to rule the Dark Iron dwarves.

My poor Uncle Magni is going to experience such a tragedy.

Stromgarde and Ironforge have many years of friendly trade relations. Galen decided to help him and send Magni's future son-in-law to the west early, giving your daughter a happy and fulfilling life.

And I, Galen, will get a new Mountain King and bring the Dark Iron dwarves under control.

It's a win win situation, perfect.

Galen, who does good deeds without leaving a name, decided to go with this plan. Compared to the difficulty of summoning the Blood Mage, the Mountain King seems easier to operate, and the benefits seem to be greater.

Also, after ruling the Dark Iron dwarves, the origin of the Mountain King doesn't even need to be made up.

Mountain King Durin will lead the Dark Iron Kingdom tribe to join the Stromgarde prince's command.

The script is written, just waiting for the actors to take their positions.

In the following days, Galen lived a very leisurely life. He had his guards move all the goods from the original shop to the Trollbane family's shop for sale.

He made a new signboard, and the shop was transformed.

"Galen's Boutique Alchemy" was officially opened. Galen customized a batch of cards as flyers and had his guards distribute them in the streets and alleys of Dalaran.

As a member of the Kirin Tor Six, Kael'thas came to congratulate him with great fanfare, giving Galen a lot of face and letting the people of Dalaran know that this shop had a great background.

Galen packaged the Scroll of Life, Potion of Clarity, Potion of Life, Mana Potion, and Ivory Tower separately, and sent a set to Kael'thas, not only as a reciprocal gesture, but also to let Kael'thas try the effect, give a small GG, and hope that the high elves living in Dalaran would patronize more.

At this stage, the various weapons and equipment of human shops, including potion supplies, are relatively low-end. The magic enchantment in Dalaran is also relatively simple and crude, which is simply worlds apart from the magic equipment produced by high elves.

Only after being stimulated by several wars can human skills progress in a ladder-like manner. Therefore, war is the best catalyst for technological progress.

After the war, the mages of Dalaran obtained Gul'dan's notes and learned a lot of forbidden knowledge from them. At the same time, in the later period of the Second War, the high elves were invaded by orcs and were forced to fully invest in the war and rejoin the Alliance, which also contributed a lot of arcane knowledge to humans.

But now, in terms of alchemy, the blood-returning and mana-returning products produced by the Arcane Vault directly crush all the products on the market. It only takes a while to make a name for itself, and there is no need to worry about sales, only that the production capacity of the Arcane Vault cannot keep up.

After the shop's affairs were settled, Galen's days were leisurely. He would chat with Derek every day and tease Jaina. When he was bored, he would stroll around the streets and alleys of Dalaran. After all, Dalaran was about to enter the countdown to destruction, so he treated it as a nostalgic trip.

One day, just as Galen was about to go to Derek, and bring some desserts to little Jaina, he received a report from his guard that a mage requested to meet with the owner of the shop, and it was said that he had a great background.

This aroused Galen's interest. Was he attracted by the blood-returning and mana-returning potion, or did he want to cooperate or cut off his financial resources and smash the place?

Galen came to the reception room on the first floor from the lounge on the second floor, and saw a mage in his thirties sitting there.

This was a handsome man, with neat golden long hair, and exquisite arcane runes embroidered on his purple magic robe. At this moment, he was holding a thick magic book and reading it. On his handsome face, his brows were slightly wrinkled, as if he was thinking about something, and his whole body exuded a deep and calm charm.

"Your Highness, this person has at least the magic wave of the eighth-order peak, and the wave fluctuates. It seems that he can break through to the ninth-order in the near future."

After Gandalf saw this middle-aged mage, he immediately gave Galen a telepathic message through the connection of the Origin Heart.

No need to tell me, I can see it too. With this handsome face that has no friends, and the temperament exuding from his whole body, it is obvious that he is not something ordinary.

"Hello mage, I am Galen, the owner of the shop. I heard that you have something to do with me?" Galen stepped forward and asked the mage.

The handsome middle-aged mage stopped reading, put away the book, and returned a salute to Galen: "Galen? The prince of Stromgarde? I am a mage from Dalaran, my name is Kel'Thuzad."

Who? Galen became very interested.

The future adjutant of the Scourge, the founder of the Cult of the Damned, spread the plague in Lordaeron, and then deliberately killed by Prince Arthas who came to investigate, his soul possessed the prince, saying teasing words every day, and enticing Prince Arthas to fall into darkness step by step.

Why did he come to me?

" What's the matter Mage Kel'Thuzad?"

"It's like this, I heard that a new potion shop has opened in the city, and the effect of the potion is good. I bought some back and tested it, and the treatment effect and magic recovery are very good."

The mage paused for a while, seemingly really admiring the excellent effect of the potion.

"I tried to analyze the ingredients of the potion, but found that these alchemy potions seemed to be integrated and could not be analyzed at all. This made me very curious, so I wanted to visit the creator and get to know who the expert is."

"Haha, thank you for your support, master. The alchemist who made the potion is in Stromgarde, not in Dalaran. I just transported the potion over to try to sell it. I didn't expect the effect to be so good."

I didn't expect that buying a potion would attract Kel'Thuzad, but it's not surprising.

The Kirin Tor Council controls a large amount of magical knowledge. As Archmage Antonidas's disciple, Kel'Thuzad has the authority to access this knowledge, and he is also making every effort to absorb any knowledge he can get his hands on, even the darkest and most forbidden areas of arcane magic: necromancy.

Necromancy, in Galen's understanding, is undead magic, resurrecting dead creatures and living in another form.

Kel'Thuzad was exceptionally talented since he was a child. He was accepted as a disciple by the ruler of Dalaran, and reached the peak of the mage at a young age. Moreover, he has been pursuing magical knowledge throughout his life. Because of the forbidden power, he betrayed Dalaran and even later became a lich who claimed that he could live forever if the soul box was immortal.

Don't you think this life experience is a bit familiar? It's very similar to a popular anime character.

The current Kel'Thuzad is different from his mentor. Antonidas specializes in the ice field and magic protection, Kel'Thuzad is an all-rounder, and he is interested in all fields, so it is not surprising that he is interested in the alchemy potions of the Arcane Vault.

"Mage Kel'Thuzad, if you have the opportunity to come to Stromgarde, my territory is in the east. I will introduce the alchemist under my command to you and exchange ideas."

Kel'Thuzad was a little surprised when he heard Galen's words. Is he willing to exchange such core things with himself? He could tell that Galen's words were very sincere, not just casual talk or perfunctory.

"Then thank you, little friend. I am at a critical period, and I am only one step away from breaking through. It is not convenient to leave Dalaran recently."

Kel'Thuzad is the disciple of the Speaker of the Dalaran City-State Council. His future achievements will be at least a member of the Kirin Tor Six. In terms of status, he is no worse than a prince, so his calling Galen a little friend is a very obvious intention to make friends.

"Is the master's situation ice-based? It just so happens that my mentor is also a ninth level ice mage, you can exchange ideas!"

Then Galen gave up the main seat, and Gandalf began to exchange ideas with Kel'Thuzad.

Gandalf's soul belongs to an alien. He was captured by the Altar of Kings and reshaped his body before coming to Azeroth. In theory, the knowledge in his mind belongs to the arcane system of other worlds. Fortunately, the two are still in the same universe, and some power systems can be converted to each other, but Stromgarde really lacks mages, making it impossible for Gandalf to verify.

The two communicated until noon, Kel'Thuzad's magic pocket watch repeatedly reminded him of the time, and finally he had to leave early, without having lunch with Galen and the others.

This was just a small episode in Galen's holiday. He met the right-hand man of the future Lich King, the adjutant of the Scourge, and the founder of the Cult of the Damned. Now he is still a relatively maverick mage. A few years later, after being promoted to the ninth level, he was recommended by Antonidas to enter the Kirin Tor Six.

As for Kel'Thuzad, Galen did not have the idea of killing or recruiting him in advance. First of all, the appearance of the Lich King is inevitable. Even if it is not Ner'zhul, it may be someone else. Keeping Kel'Thuzad will give him a rough goal and monitor his actions in the future.

The most important thing is that so far, no Bronze Dragon has come to him to check the water meter. Perhaps it is because the Origin Heart shields the perception of the Bronze Dragon Legion, but he is not sure.

So he thinks he should not touch Kel'Thuzad. After all, Kel'Thuzad in the future is one of the biggest villains in the Scourge event. Killing him will greatly change the timeline, and he will not be able to foresee things.

As for recruiting, this kind of person who pursues power may be defected by the Lich King who has forbidden knowledge at any time. Thinking about having a traitor in the team is worrying.

My strength is not strong enough, and the heroes under my command have not reached the legendary level.
