As Cody tried to leave, I grasped his T-shirt, refusing to let him go. "Sleep," he instructed, but I shook my head, still clinging to his shirt.
We'd been stuck in a cycle of sleep, wake, eat, and sleep again. I was getting restless, feeling like I was missing out on something. "I don't feel sleepy," I whispered, my eyes locked on Cody's.
We were incredibly close, our faces mere inches apart. If Cody were to lean in just a bit more, our lips would touch. I could feel the warmth of his breath on my skin, sending shivers down my spine.
Cody's voice was low and husky as he asked, "What do you want to do?"
I thought for a moment before responding, "I want you to make me feel warm with your body, or cozy me. If you do that, I might sleep."
Cody let out a soft sigh, as if tired, but then agreed, "Promise me you'll sleep."
I made a small sound of assent, releasing my grip on his shirt. Cody slid into bed beside me, his hot breath washing over me as he lay down close.
Since I was facing sideways, Cody's body was pressed against mine, his chest against my back. I reached out, taking his hand in mine and placing it on my belly. As his hand moved down to my waist, I felt a surge of warmth and comfort.
With Cody's hot body wrapped around mine, I couldn't help but smile. "Now sleep," he whispered, his voice barely audible.
I nodded, feeling my eyelids grow heavy. As I drifted off to sleep, I was aware of Cody's hand on my waist, his body curled around mine, keeping me safe and warm...

As I slowly opened my eyes, I realized I was alone in the room. "Uh?" I muttered, sitting up in bed and calling out, "Cody?" But my voice was met with silence.
I swung my legs over the side of the bed, standing up without any pain or discomfort. It was as if I'd fully recovered. I took a few steps forward, calling out again, "Cody?" But there was no response.
A wave of emotions washed over me, and before I knew it, I was crying like a baby. I wrapped the cloth around me, trying to compose myself as I heard a knock at the door.
"Cody, is that you?" I asked, hoping it was him.
But when the door opened, I was surprised to see a girl standing there. She wore a hoodie and a short skirt, her hair tied up in a ponytail. She looked around the room, taking in the scene before her eyes landed on me.
"Hello," she said, "where is Cody?"
I was taken aback by her question, unsure of how to respond. "Hello... sorry, I didn't introduce myself," she continued. "I'm someone close to him. I came to check on him, but please don't tell him I came here." She pleaded with me, her eyes wide with concern.
I shook my head, still trying to process what was happening. I nodded and she quickly left the room, leaving me feeling confused and overwhelmed.
As soon as she was gone, I started crying again. I didn't understand why I was feeling this way. Was I jealous? I shouldn't care.
Trying to calm myself down, I slowly made my way to the bathroom. I pulled off the clothes Cody had dressed me in and sat down in the warm water tub, letting out a sigh as I submerged myself.
The tears continued to flow as I buried my face in the water, trying to wash away the emotions that were swirling inside me...
Cody called out, "Alva!" as he entered the house, pulling off his tie. But there was no response. He removed his jacket, calling out again, "Alva!" Still, there was silence.
He searched the kitchen, dining room, and living room, but she was nowhere to be found. His heart began racing with fear as he made his way to his room.
Upon entering, he quickly moved to the bathroom and saw someone submerged in the water. "Alva, Alva!" he called out, but there was no response.
He rushed to her side, concern etched on his face. As he lifted her out of the water, he was met with the sight of her naked body, cold and limp from being in the water for too long.
Her skin was pale, and her body was shivering. Cody quickly carried her to the bed, calling out her name again, but she didn't respond.
Desperate to revive her, Cody sucked on her lip, trying to get her to cough up water. He then pressed on her chest four times, his hands on her breasts, trying to stimulate her heart.
As his lips touched hers, he felt a spark of electricity. His hands on her chest, pressing on her breasts, felt intimate, yet necessary.
Finally, Alva woke up, gasping for air. "Are you okay?" Cody asked, quickly hugging her. Her breasts pressed against his chest, sending a shiver down his spine.
As they hugged, Alva seemed fine, but Cody's voice was laced with concern. "I'm fine," she said, cutting off the hug. "Maybe I just fell asleep."
But Cody's expression turned stern. "Don't ever...," he started, his voice trembling with fear.
Alva looked up at him, confused. "This is why you left me alone in this house without telling me?" she asked, her voice rising.
Cody hugged her again, his chest pressing against her breasts. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry," he whispered.
As Alva folded her hands over her breasts, realizing she was naked, she quickly grabbed a cloth to cover herself. Cody smiled, and Alva asked, "Why are you smiling?"
Cody's smile grew wider. "I've seen everything while I was bathing you," he teased.
Alva's face turned bright red as she uttered, "Uh...," her voice trailing off in embarrassment...
Alva's eyes narrowed, her voice barely above a whisper. "How many times have you seen me naked?"
Cody looked up, as if counting, before responding with a sly smile, "Three times."
Alva's eyes widened in surprise, her hand quickly covering her mouth. Cody's smile grew even broader, his eyes crinkling at the corners.
"Did you expect that I would be in the bathroom?" Alva asked, trying to compose herself.
Cody's expression turned concerned. "No, I didn't. Why are your eyes swollen? You were crying, right? Did you miss me so much that you had to cry?"
Alva shook her head, trying to brush it off. "No, I wasn't crying. I just wanted to be in a cool place, but you weren't there to hold me, so I went to the bathtub."
Alva's eyes softened, her voice gentle. "What day is today?"
Cody looked at her curiously. "Why do you ask?"
She then explained, "I told my mom I'd be here for three days, and today's the third day. It's late, and I need to go home."
Cody's face fell, his voice laced with concern. "No, you're not strong enough."
Alva apologized, "I'm sorry... I don't want my mom to worry."
Cody nodded understandingly. "I'll go get your phone so you can call her, okay?"
Alva dialed her mom's number, and as soon as her mom picked up, she yelled, "Where have you been? Why didn't you pick up my calls?" Alva tried to explain, but her mom cut her off, saying, "You should stay wherever you are. But remember to bring a rich guy over."
Alva felt a pang of smiles and hurt. She realized her mom didn't truly care about her well-being. She quickly cut the call, feeling a lump form in her throat.
As Cody approached the bathroom, Alva asked, "Where are you going?"
Cody replied, "To bathe."
"I want to bathe you," Alva said, trying to stand up.
But Cody disagreed, insisting he could bathe himself.
"Please," she begged.
Cody, however, was firm, saying, "No, you're not strong enough."
Alva pleaded with him, "But I want to... Please?" Cody's expression softened, but he remained resolute. "We can bathe tomorrow when you're a little stronger."
Alva felt a wave of disappointment wash over her. She had been looking forward to Cody bathing her, and his decline made her feel sad and rejected. Cody seemed to sense her emotions, but he simply smiled and headed into the bathroom, leaving Alva to her thoughts…
