Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

What a great day to go fishing, the sun isn't exactly that bright that would burn me alive. A calm day indeed and I hope I could get a big fish today. As I hope it does happen... I guess the only way to find out whether I could get a big fish is by changing my bait.

So without further hesitation, I went ahead and open my tackle box but something caught my attention the moment I do so. I notice that there was this tiny white gem inside of my tackle box, I never seen that before as it I never put that thing inside.

Yet I feel like I have seen this white gem somewhere before, but I can't recall exactly where. I decided to inspect it closely and all of a sudden...

A white flash began to blinded my vision. All that I could heard was a female voice that was bit more forceful, arrogant, but keep the airiness around.

"Listen. Hear me and obey. A foul darkness has seeped into my temple. A darkness that you will destroy. I shall guide you unto the world and let you become my champion with my blessings."

After that demanding voice was over, the white vision that blinded my vision disappear as well.

I could finally see again, it was a weird experience indeed but I'm sure that I am just hallucinating as- my thoughts of hallucinating was interrupted the moment I notice where I am.

Somehow I ended up in a ship, as I could hear the splashing wave and the interior of the place is definitely a ship. Yet not a modern ship, an old ship as it made of wood... mostly of wood.

My mind was fill with question but regardless of what it is, I need to keep calm and look around the place so I could make a sound judgement of what is happening here.

With that, I began to look around the place. There aren't anyone here beside some skeletons... which make me think that it must be an old ship. But while I was looking around, I notice something has changes with me. The moment I look at some broken mirror inside of the ship.

My entire appearance as an 45-years old man has gone. And somehow I become somewhat younger, in around early 20's or so.

Which make me even more confuse and believe that I'm dreaming right now. Because there's no way that this is happening to me. I must hit something while I'm fishing and somehow ended up dreaming while being in a hospital. At least that what I wanted to believe.

But the pain and everything felt real when I pinch myself and when I kick my foot on the ship wall. Ending my conclusion that I was in a dream.

If only I could find someone to ask... surely I would have known something.

So the plan changes to get out from this place but before that, I might open that chest that I saw before. Who knows it might have something worth it.

And weirdly there's nothing there beside the tiny white gem that I saw earlier. Yet this time, it was somewhat bigger... Should I touch it? I feel like this was the thing that get me into this mess before.

I was hesitant but decided to give it a go since there's nothing to lose anyway as I'm already in this unknown place.

"You have touched my beacon and have crossed the world boundary with my blessings. Destroy the darkness that seeped into my temple. And you will become my champion."

Then that was when I finally remember everything. What was this all about and the white gem thing.

It was so long that I forgot, 20 years ago... To think that this was happening. I was still confuse on how does it happen. But I can finally figured out what this place are.

This is Skyrim and what I found is Meridia Beacon, something that all skyrim player hated back when the game was still popular. But how can I expect to remember all of this as it's been 20 years already since I last played Skyrim.

"So how is this possible? Why choose me? I'm not even from Skyrim or part of this world." I said that to the beacon hoping that it would relay the message back to Meridia.

And surprisingly it works!

"Who I choose doesn't matter, what's important was for you destroy the darkness inside of my temple."

Yet the answer isn't really something that I expected. But that's my fault here, I should at least predicted that snarky comment of her. She's Meridia after all, the arrogant daedric prince who wants to make people obey her commands.

"You have incurred my wrath as what you thoughts could be heard as long as you touch my beacon. But you will be forgiven the moment you destroy the darkness inside my temple. And I'm a Daedric Princess! not prince!"

I was taken aback after hearing what she said. Not about the wrath but the daedric prince stuff, I never thought that kinda stuff get her. I guess she's not all that high and mighty-

"Foolish human! I could still hear your thoughts!"

"Well sorry then, just one more question. I understand how this works but there's no way I can do this. I'm a human with no fighting experience whatsoever. You do realise I also know how strong the darkness in your temple is right?... with no gear and all. All I can do is get killed." I said that to Meridia.

"Certainly, you are weak, but fret not human. You have my blessings and I have granted you something that could help you fight the darkness."

"Could you just be direct? I don't understand what blessings... if it's about the weapon. I don't have it since I need to retrieve it from your temple and defeat the darkness. So tell me? Was it other blessings and please explain!"

"You have been granted blessings and it was not the weapon currently. A system, something that allows you to become my champion."

The moment I hear that, I become somewhat excited.
