Chapter 1 - The Imperial Dawn

The Last Day on Earth

January 20th, 2077. Washington, D.C.

Falcon Jostar leaned back on the rear seat of the Presidential Limousine, "The Beast," watching the rain trickle down the bulletproof windows.

It was his last ride. His last day.

At seventy-five years old, the 58th President of the United States was finally stepping down. No scandals. No disgrace. Just time catching up to him, as it did to all men.

He glanced down at his favorite companion besides the car: a sleek black tablet with a silver stylus. He had spent thousands of hours on it — reading, writing, designing plans for a better future he knew he'd never see.

The motorcade turned toward the Capitol for the final farewell.

Falcon sighed.

"Time... it really is the one thing you can't bargain with," he muttered.

Then — the world shattered.

A blinding white light enveloped the Beast. The engine screamed. The rain froze midair like a paused movie.

A voice, impossibly ancient and thunderous, echoed inside his skull.

"Falcon Jostar. You've been Chosen."

Before he could react, the tablet in his lap lit up — golden runes crawling across its surface — and a screen appeared:

🛠️ "Transfer Initiated."🛠️ "Destination: World 374-A — Elyndora."🛠️ "Role: Emperor."

"Hold on a second—" he barked. But it was too late.

The Beast, Falcon Jostar, and his tablet vanished from Earth.

[Arrival]

With a gut-wrenching thud, the limousine materialized in a wide, empty grassland under a bright blue sky.

The engine sputtered, then died. Birds scattered into the air.

Falcon jerked upright, gripping the door handle.

"Where the hell...?"

Before he could finish, the tablet in his lap vibrated violently.

A hologram erupted from it — a radiant woman composed of flowing code and light, draped in robes of shifting constellations.

She bowed her head low.

"Greetings, Your Majesty. I am Aurora, your Imperial Assistant."

Falcon's mind raced.

His instincts, honed over decades, snapped into action.

He narrowed his eyes and spoke sharply:

"First off — where am I and what the hell are you? And second — why the hell are you calling me 'Your Majesty'?"

Aurora smiled patiently.

"You are now in the world of Elyndora, Sire. A realm of magic and feudal kingdoms. Technology, democracy, and empires are unknown here. You, Your Majesty, have been appointed by the Supreme Will to establish the first and only Empire. And I am you personal assistant that'll help you on your journey."

Falcon leaned back against the leather seat, processing.

"Hmm.. establish an Empire, huh? And what makes you think I'm gonna cooperate after bringing me here without my consent?"

Aurora floated closer, her voice gentle but firm:

"Because it is your destiny, Your Majesty. You alone possess the wisdom, the iron will, and the spirit necessary. You shall build the Jostar Empire — a bastion of freedom, innovation, and order."

Falcon tapped the tablet with his stylus, eyeing the interface suspiciously.

"Is that so? Then what exactly are we working with here? What's this system?"

Aurora lifted her hands.

The air shimmered. A grand menu unfolded before Falcon's eyes — clear, powerful, elegant.

[System Overview]

Two enormous categories blinked before him:

Citizens 🏛️

Military 🛡️

Citizens Menu:

🏗️ Structures: Construct homes, markets, hospitals, universities, etc.

🏞️ Terrain: Manipulate land—create rivers, lakes, hills, valleys, fertile soil, etc.

⚙️ Jobs & Tasks: Assign jobs, craft projects, and issue assignments. Citizens earn you Points by completing tasks.

📜 Mandate of Heaven: Create decrees, laws, and national policies.

Military Menu:

🔫 Weapons & Vehicles: Equip soldiers with arms and vehicles.

🏰 Structures: Build forts, navy ports, airbases, and more.

🎖️ Armament: Uniform and supply management.

✍️ Enlistment: Recruit and promote troops in six branches: Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, and Coast Guard.

A simple notice hovered at the bottom:

🧮 Points Available: 0

Aurora added, her voice clear:

"Points are your Imperial System currency, Your Majesty. They are not used by your citizens — only you may spend them to unlock new structures, features, or technologies."

Falcon nodded slowly.

"So... no buying bread with these Points. Only I use them, to expand my capabilities?"

"Correct, Sire," Aurora confirmed. "Citizens earn Points for the Empire through labor and service. You alone allocate them."

Falcon smiled thinly.

"Good. Keeps the power where it belongs."

[System Gifts]

Aurora floated closer.

"In addition, Your Majesty, you have been physically restored to your prime — age 18.Peak biological condition, peak vitality."

Falcon blinked.

"Wait. You're telling me I'm—?"

He caught his reflection in the Beast's mirror-like side panel.

A young man — tall, muscled, fierce-eyed — stared back.

He touched his face, his hair, his jaw.

"Damn..." he breathed." Feels good to be king."

Aurora bowed again.

"You are now fit to lead humanity's future, Your Majesty."

[First Step: Haven Capitol]

The tablet pinged.

Aurora spoke:

"You must establish the first city, Sire. Your Capitol. Name it, and I shall prepare the foundation."

Falcon didn't hesitate.

"Call it Haven Capitol. It'll be the beacon of hope — and the hammer of justice."

Aurora's hologram smiled.

"As you command, Your Majesty."

The Terrain Menu opened.

Falcon selected an area on the holographic map — flattening hills, enriching the soil, clearing forests.

The ground trembled as reality itself bent to his will.

A giant plateau formed — lush, green, vast.

Perfect.

[Sculpting a Future]

Falcon Jostar stepped out of "The Beast," feeling the grass crunch under his boots.

The air was pure — unnaturally pure. No pollution. No city noise. Just endless rolling plains under a sapphire sky.

The tablet hovered at his side, the stylus tucked into his palm.

Aurora floated beside him, hands clasped elegantly.

"Your Majesty," she said, "this location is ideal. Fertile lands, nearby rivers, moderate climate, abundant natural resources. A capital here would thrive."

Falcon grunted in approval.

But his mind was already racing ahead.

He tapped the Terrain menu.

Submenus unfolded like petals:

🛤️ Flatten Land

🌳 Clear Vegetation

🏔️ Raise Elevation

🏞️ Create Waterways

🌱 Enrich Soil

He smirked.

"Feels like I'm about to play the world's most important city-building game," he muttered.

Aurora chuckled softly.

"With the highest stakes imaginable, Sire."

Falcon traced the tablet screen with the stylus, his movements sharp and decisive.

First, he outlined a square plateau nearly five miles across — future Haven Capitol.

He selected Flatten Land — and at his command, the earth itself obeyed.

Hills crumbled. Valleys filled. Trees shivered and fell away in orderly lines.

The ground shifted and groaned like a living beast bowing before him.

Falcon nodded with satisfaction.

"Level ground for the city center. No uneven roads. No bad foundations. Everything clean."

Next, he opened Create Waterways.

He drew two long lines — rivers — on the virtual map. They shimmered, glowing blue.

Moments later, the land trembled again as water erupted from the ground, flowing in clean, graceful channels around the edges of the plateau.

Freshwater rivers — natural moats and trade arteries.

Aurora watched with a serene smile.

"Excellent foresight, Your Majesty. Rivers will ensure transportation, agriculture, and defensive advantage."

Falcon flipped the stylus in his fingers, thinking.

"I'm not just building a city. I'm building a capitol for the ages.It needs to be defensible. Prosperous. Beautiful. A symbol of power."

He selected Enrich Soil, dragging the stylus across the surrounding plains.

Instantly, the land darkened — rich, black earth ready for future farms.

"Haven Capital will feed itself. No dependency."

Aurora nodded.

"Self-sufficiency, the foundation of sovereignty."

Falcon chuckled under his breath.

"Glad to see you're not just a pretty light show."

Aurora's projection dipped into a slight curtsy.

"I am at Your Majesty's eternal service."

[The Recruitment Problem]

After an hour of working the terrain, Falcon finally sat down on the hood of the Beast, wiping imaginary sweat from his brow.

"Alright," he said, "we've got land. Next problem: people."

He looked at Aurora seriously.

"You said this world is filled with kingdoms. Kings, queens, peasants. No empires. No concept of emperors. How am I supposed to get anyone to follow me?"

Aurora's expression grew thoughtful.

"Sire, you have several options."

She conjured three shimmering holographic paths:

1. Direct Summons:

Use the Mandate of Heaven to create a decree that offers land, freedom, protection, and opportunity. Broadcast it into the surrounding lands via magical resonance.

2. Founding Heroes:

Send out scouting missions. Find exceptional individuals — adventurers, scholars, farmers, warriors — and offer them founding positions of prestige in the Jostar Empire.

3. Refugee Attraction:

News of a powerful new land — untouched, fertile, safe — will naturally draw in the oppressed, the desperate, and the ambitious from the nearby kingdoms.

Falcon tapped the stylus against his chin.

"No population, no economy. No army, no defense. No citizens, no legitimacy."

He nodded slowly.

"We'll need all three strategies. But first... we need to make the place real enough for someone to want to come."

Aurora tilted her head.

"What do you command, Your Majesty?"

Falcon grinned.

"First priority: Build a core — a plaza, a few homes, a well. Then create the first decree — an invitation to the brave and free."

He paused.

"And the first rule of Haven Capitol — no kings, no queens. Only one Emperor."

Aurora bowed deeply.

"As you decree, Sire."

[Small Details]

Before he began construction, Falcon zoomed in on the Terrain menu again.

He planned roads — wide, straight avenues stretching from the center outward like a spiderweb.

He plotted sites for future parks, libraries, universities, armories.

He carved small lakes for beauty and relaxation.

He designated areas for farms outside the initial walls.

All in his head. All while the sun slowly set over Elyndora.

Falcon sat on the Beast's hood, tablet glowing in his lap, eyes shining with fierce new purpose.

"This world doesn't know it yet," he murmured," but the Jostar Empire is coming. muhehehehe.. BUHAHAHAHAHAA!"

[The Dream of Stone and Marble]

The stars began to glitter overhead, but Falcon Jostar remained awake — sitting against The Beast's armored side, the tablet glowing steady in his lap.

Aurora floated nearby, her blue holographic light gentle in the twilight.

Falcon stared at the blank virtual canvas of the future city.

"No wood shacks," he said firmly. "No mud huts. We're building a capitol worthy of the gods."

Aurora smiled softly.

"What style do you envision, Your Majesty?"

Falcon grinned.

"Rome. Ancient Earth. Stone. Marble. Grand avenues. Arches that touch the sky. Buildings that say power and glory without a single word."

Aurora raised her hand, projecting shimmering images beside him — examples drawn from Falcon's memories:

The Forum Romanum, the political heart of ancient Rome.

The Domus, grand houses with inner courtyards and peristyles.

The Baths of Caracalla, massive public gathering places.

Triumphal Arches, carved with scenes of conquest.

Falcon pointed with the stylus.

"Start simple. A central plaza — paved in marble. A triumphal arch at the entrance. And our first public buildings around it."

He opened the Structures Menu under Citizens.

New options had appeared:

🏛️ Plaza

🏠 Domus (Stone House)

💧 Well

🛡️ Watchtower

🍞 Granary

Falcon selected Plaza first.

He outlined a vast, open square in the center of the plateau — perfectly level, bordered by space for statues and gardens.

The moment he confirmed, the tablet pulsed.

Reality shifted.

The ground groaned. Massive marble tiles erupted from the earth, locking into place in geometric patterns.

A wide triumphal arch materialized at the south end, ornately carved, its top crowned with an eagle holding a lightning bolt — the Jostar symbol.

Aurora clapped politely.

"A splendid start, Your Majesty. This will awe even the most stubborn of hearts."

[Building the First Domus]

Falcon leaned forward.

"Next — housing. Real homes for real people."

He selected Domus (Stone House) from the menu.

The UI prompted him:

"Design Layout Use Template | Customize"

Falcon grinned.

"Customize."

Aurora opened a blank building layout grid before him.

He tapped the stylus, laying out the first Domus:

Front Entrance: Arched doorway with bronze double doors.

Atrium: Open ceiling with rainwater pool (impluvium) at the center.

Bedrooms: Small, cozy chambers branching off the atrium.

Tablinum: An office or family room facing the garden.

Peristyle Garden: Private courtyard with a small marble fountain.

Kitchen & Storage Rooms tucked in the back.

He finished the sketch, and with a quick flick, placed four identical Domus designs around the Plaza, facing inward.

Construction Time: Immediate.Material Cost: Free (Initial Divine Grant).

At his command, marble blocks, red clay tiles, and polished stone snapped into existence with satisfying crunches and rumbles.

Soon, the Plaza was flanked by four majestic stone homes — sturdy, beautiful, eternal.

Falcon stood, admiring the view.

"Now that," he said proudly," is a neighborhood."

Aurora hovered beside him, eyes bright.

"Shall we build the well next, Your Majesty?"

"Do it," Falcon said. "Center of the Plaza. Symbolic. Water brings life."

Aurora nodded.

He selected Well from the menu and placed it dead center.

Stone columns and marble bricks rose from the ground, assembling into a beautiful circular well with an eagle motif carved along its rim.

Fresh water bubbled up, clear and sparkling.

Falcon crossed his arms.

"Now this feels real."

Aurora's voice took a slightly more serious tone.

"Your Majesty, now that the core exists, you may activate the first Decree."

"Right," Falcon said. "The Invitation."

[Mandate of Heaven: First Decree]

He opened the Mandate of Heaven menu. A gold scroll unfurled on the screen.

Create New Decree?

He tapped Yes.

He wrote carefully:

The First Decree of the Jostar Empire:

To All Who Seek Freedom, Opportunity, and Honor: A new land has risen under the protection of the Emperor. Haven Capitol welcomes all who yearn for a better life. Here, you will find safety, prosperity, and dignity. Serve well, live free, and rise with us. Join the Jostar Empire — a future beyond kings and queens.

Signed,Emperor Falcon Jostar

He pressed Publish.

Aurora clasped her hands together.

"The Decree will spread in waves of magical resonance, reaching nearby villages, wanderers, even oppressed populations within two days' travel."

"Good," Falcon said. "But we don't wait. We prepare."

He opened the Jobs & Tasks menu.

Current Jobs:

Builder

Farmer

Guard

Artisan

"Assign Builder as a job for the first volunteers," Falcon commanded." And prepare the Farmer job for the second wave."

Aurora nodded.

The menus shimmered, awaiting the first citizens.

Falcon looked over his growing capital — marble gleaming under the stars, rivers glinting nearby.

For now, it was still empty.

But not for long.

"Tomorrow," he said, "the Jostar Empire begins."

[The First Broadcast]

As Falcon sealed the First Decree on his tablet, Aurora raised her hand toward the sky.

A low hum filled the air.

High above Haven Capital, a golden holographic symbol materialized: A mighty eagle clutching a lightning bolt — the emblem of the Jostar Empire — radiant and proud.

Then, from the symbol, waves of holographic banners rippled outward in every direction, stretching across hills, forests, and valleys.

Each banner shimmered with the Emperor's words, accompanied by a hovering golden button that simply said:

"Join the Jostar Empire."

Anyone who saw the hologram would hear Falcon's voice, strong and clear, as if standing right before them.

"This is Falcon Jostar, Emperor of Haven. To all who seek a future without fear, a life without tyranny —You are welcome here. A new era has begun. Join us, and rise beyond kings and queens."

The words carried warmth, authority, and hope — a beacon in a brutal, medieval world.

Aurora nodded approvingly as the golden waves traveled beyond the horizon.

"The Decree has been successfully broadcast, Your Majesty. Based on local population densities, I estimate first responses within three hours. The full wave will reach over five thousand individuals within two days."

Falcon crossed his arms.

"Not bad for a day's work," he muttered." Now... let's make sure they don't show up to a construction site with no food."

[Laying Foundations for Civilization]

Falcon sat back down, opening his Jobs & Tasks and Structures menus again.

"Aurora, give me a checklist. What do we need for the first settlers?"

Aurora summoned a glowing list, her tone crisp and professional.

"First Settler Preparation Protocol:

Shelter: Minimum housing capacity for 10 families.

Water: Reliable, clean supply.

Food: Basic stockpile.

Jobs: Immediate employment opportunities.

Security: Initial defensive measures.

Governance: Clear leadership and laws.

Morale: Symbols of unity and pride."

Falcon nodded.

"Alright. Shelter's handled — those Domus houses. Water — the well. Food... that's the weak spot."

He opened the Structures menu and found Granary and Fields.

With careful sweeps of his stylus, Falcon assigned plots of land to the east of the Plaza for future farmland — neat rectangles like a Roman centuria grid.

For the Granary, he chose a position close to the Plaza but not blocking views.

Stone foundations burst from the earth, assembling a sturdy granary with thick walls, elevated floors to keep out moisture, and clay jar storage for grains.

Aurora added:

"You may pre-generate a basic food stockpile using your Divine Grant, Your Majesty."

"Do it," Falcon said immediately.

Barrels of salted meat, baskets of fruits, sacks of grain, and amphorae of fresh water appeared neatly stacked inside the granary.

[Planning Jobs and First Defenses]

"Next," Falcon said, flipping through the Jobs & Tasks menu, "I want Builders, Farmers, and Guards ready to work."

He created task assignments:

Builder Tasks: Finish extra houses. Improve roads.

Farmer Tasks: Clear fields. Prepare soil. Plant first crops.

Guard Tasks: Patrol Plaza. Watch for threats.

Then he turned to Aurora.

"What about defenses? I'm not naïve. If we look rich and weak, we're dead."

Aurora floated slightly higher, her wings of holographic light unfurling.

"You have access to Watchtower and Stone Wall structures, Your Majesty. Recommend prioritizing a Watchtower first for early warning."

"Good call."

Falcon selected Watchtower from the Structures menu.

He placed it carefully at the southern entrance of the Plaza, overlooking the arch and the main road.

Stone and timber twisted up into the sky, forming a tall square tower with a small bell at the top.

Inside, a simple spiral staircase led to a lookout platform.

"Now we'll see trouble coming before it knocks on the door," Falcon said with satisfaction.

[Governance and Morale]

Aurora projected a second list.

"Governance Protocol Activated. Suggest establishing a simple Code of Conduct for settlers upon arrival."

"Good idea," Falcon said." But nothing too complicated yet. We'll add complexity as the Empire grows."

He opened the Mandate of Heaven again and created a second, smaller Decree:

Code of Conduct — First Law of Haven

1. Respect the laws of the Empire.

2. Honor your fellow settlers.

3. No violence without cause.

4. Theft will not be tolerated.

5. Loyalty to the Emperor brings honor and reward.

He published it instantly.

Anyone who clicked "Join the Jostar Empire" would automatically receive the Code of Conduct.

Aurora bowed slightly in approval.

"You lead with wisdom, Your Majesty."

Falcon chuckled.

"Wisdom, eh? Let's see how long it lasts when the first idiot tries to steal something."

[Waiting for the First]

The holographic sun slowly began to rise behind the mountains, casting golden light across the marble Plaza.

The golden eagle emblem still shimmered above Haven Capital, a beacon calling to all.

Falcon stood at the top of the triumphal arch, arms crossed, surveying the land.

"They're coming," he said quietly.

Aurora floated beside him.

"They are, Your Majesty. And this world will never be the same."
