Fetching things for her, running errands, covering for her in class—what once seemed like small favors had now become obligations.

Yuto no longer hesitated when Reina asked him to do something. If she needed notes, he wrote them. If she wanted someone distracted, he made sure it happened. If she whispered something in his ear, he listened. Without question. Without thought.
And the worst part? He never even realized it.
To him, Reina wasn't manipulating him—she was just someone who needed him. Someone he had to protect.
Kaido and Mei's Concern
Kaido and Mei had been watching closely, and what they saw disturbed them.

Mei took a step back, shocked by the anger in his voice.
"She's not a bad person," Yuto continued, his voice shaking. "She just… she needs me. I want to help her. Why are you guys acting like she's some kind of villain?"
Kaido and Mei exchanged worried glances.
