In a damp, dimly lit room, the only source of illumination was a solitary candle flickering beside a man engrossed in his laptop.
The soft clatter of keys echoed through the silence. With a final keystroke, he leaned back, exhaling deeply.
"I've finished it," he whispered, a mix of relief and melancholy in his voice. "I finished My tenth novel."
He stood, stretching his stiff limbs, and reached for his coat. As he donned it,He intorduced himself,as if addressing an unseen audience.
"I am Leon, known to the world by my pen name 'Storm.'
For twenty-five years, I've poured my soul into crafting ten novels. Each character I've created holds a special place in my heart. Though my work has garnered worldwide acclaim, it's time for me to retire. I've earned enough to live comfortably, and I have no regrets."
Just as he was about to close his laptop, a notification popped up.
"A message? Who could be contacting me at this hour?" he mused. "I have no family, no friends. Only my publisher ever messages me."
Curious, he opened the email. It read:
Hi Author,
I am one of your greatest fans. Your novels have brought me immense joy and inspiration. Motivated by your work, I've written a novel of my own. I would be honored if you would read it.
Leon frowned. "A fan?How did they find my email?"
He considered ignoring it but then thought, I'm retiring anyway. Perhaps I can offer some constructive feedback.
He clicked the link provided and began reading the novel titled Hero of the Helius Academy.
"What an odd title," he muttered, but he continued reading.
Two years passed.
Leon sat in the same room, engrossed in the novel.
Then he finnaly finished reading the Last chapter.
He said "This story is incredible!," he marveled. "I intended to provide feedback, but I've been captivated for two years. A hundred thousand chapters, and I'm still not bored!,"
He paused, a thought nagging at him.
"But why did that person send this to me?"
As if in response, another message appeared.
It was from the same stranger.
Leon opened the message out of curiosity.
It had:
Hi Author,
Have you read my novel? What did you think?
Leon typed back,
The novel was awesome. But why did you send it to me?
The reply came swiftly.
Leon Maxwell, I knew you would appreciate it.
Leon's eyes widened in shock.
"How does he know my real name?!, I've always used my pen name, 'Storm.' Even my publisher doesn't know my true identity!"
Another message appeared.
Author, you must be shocked. But don't worry; I'll explain everything soon. First, let me ask you: do you want to know the truth?
Leon hesitated, then typed,
Yes.
The stranger sended another message.
Then don't stay in that damp, dark room. Come out. Go to the Central Park of your city.
Leon was skeptical.
"Central Park? What's going on?"
But curiosity got the better of him.
"It's not like I have anything to lose. I've been cooped up here for years. Maybe it's time to step outside."
He grabbed his laptop and ventured out. The sunlight was blinding.
"How long has it been since I saw the sun?" he wondered.
After a short walk, he arrived at Central Park and sat on a bench. He opened his laptop and typed, I've reached Central Park. Where are you?
A new message appeared.
Good. Now, let me ask you another question: If you were given a chance to live in a fantasy world with superpowers, would you accept it?
Leon was puzzled.
"A fantasy world? Is this some kind of joke?"
Another message followed.
Answer my question, and I'll answer yours.
Leon reflected on his life.
"I'm an orphan with no friends. I dropped out of school due to financial constraints. My life has been mundane. Writing was my only escape."
He typed, Yes. I would choose to live in a fantasy world over this one.
The response was immediate.
Leon, I am GOD.
Leon chuckled nervously.
"Is this some elaborate prank?"
Another message appeared.
I WILL GIVE YOU A CHANCE. DO YOU WANT TO LIVE IN MY NOVEL? YES/NO
Leon hesitated.
"This is absurd.T But...This is just a prank!,what do I have to lose?I should just play along."
He clicked 'YES.'
A final message appeared.
You have selected YES. Now, rain will come, Your laptop will melt, and you will be struck by lightning,Reborn in a fantasy world.
Leon looked up. The sky was clear.
He burst out laughing "Hahaha,Rain? It's sunny,hahaha.what's more,my laptop will melt?,hahaha!."
But while he was laughing,a tiny drop of water fell on him.
Leon then looked up the sky.
clouds gathered, and tiny droplets of water began to fall from the sky,
And soon rain began to pour.
Leon was stunned. He said "Impossible!,how did rain come?."
But then his laptop began to melt.
Leon was again shocked and confused.he said "what? How can a laptop melt!."
Then he thought "Don't tell me!,is this the work of that stranger?,does that mean he is really a god?."
Then he remebered the last message he got.
"Th..Then will i get struck by lightning!?"
Then he began to run from there,in a hurry.
Then suddenly A bolt of lightning struck him, and everything went black.
Leon said "th..this can't be..."
And he closes his eyes.
Then Leon hears a Voice,",PROTECT THIS WORLD"
Leon opened his eyes to an unfamiliar ceiling. He tried to move but realized his limbs were tiny.
"Where am I?"
He turned his head to see a couple-A black haired handsome man, with striking Red eyes, and an Beautiful Blonde woman.
"Our baby is so cute," the woman said.
Leon thought "Baby?"
Leon tried to speak, but only babbling sounds came out.
Then the women said "our baby is so cute that i want to kiss him."
Then she kissed Leon.
Leon said "Din't she said she wanted to kiss her baby?,why did she kiss me?
Then a sudden sense of realization hit Leon.
He thought "I..I am a baby?!!"
A blue screen appeared before his eyes.
CONGRATULATIONS ON BEING CHOSEN BY GOD!

Leon was stunned.
"I'm inside that novel?!"
