System's POV
I scanned Keshav again. And again.Every molecule, every quantum fluctuation of his soul, I recorded with the precision of a paranoid AI surgeon. There was no room for error today. After all, my very existence was tied to his future.
No risk was too small when my own future was on the line.
During my inspection, I focused on the Anchor ability. It was deeply fused with Keshav's soul, just as I expected.Good. Solid foundation.
However, as a safety measure, I decided to anchor myself to the previous body owner's soul as well — even though it was devoid of consciousness.Spending 1 Energy Point, I securely latched onto it.
Better to have a backup than end up floating like cosmic trash.
I double-checked my internal protocols. As for transferring abilities to other beings in the future...the cost wasn't trivial.
First of all i need to spend 1 EP to anchor them and for any other additional ability:-
First ability: 10 Energy Points.Second ability: 100 Energy Points.Third: 1000 EP, and so on.
Each new attachment would cost ten times more than the last.
Keshav, however, was different.
He already had full access to all of my abilities from the moment we bonded. He was my first host — and my only current investment.
I sighed internally — or whatever the closest equivalent for a self-aware consciousness without lungs was.
Then, I turned my attention back to the external environment.
Keshav's POV
Hearing my name, I stepped forward and walked steadily toward the Chaos Dive capsule.
The device looked like something out of a high-budget sci-fi movie — a sleek metallic pod, smooth like liquid chrome, humming faintly with restrained power.
I laid down inside, and the cover slid closed with a soft hiss.
The next moment, I felt my soul being yanked out of my body.
Disoriented, I found myself floating in an endless black void.No ground. No sky. No up. No down.
Only darkness...and a barrier of translucent silver light encasing me.
This barrier, I remembered from the previous body owner's memories, was part of the Chaos Dive protocol — designed to protect the soul from being torn apart immediately by the surrounding Chaos Energy.
Outside the barrier, the universe churned in madness.Black streams of energy, moving with alien, unnatural motions —the infamous Chaos Energy.
I barely had time to absorb this terrifying sight when I felt a sudden influx of warmth.
Origin Energy.
It flooded toward me, injected directly into my soul by the device back in the auditorium.
My soul began to glow.Bright... but then faltered, the light dimming slightly.
According to my memories, this wasn't normal.Usually, the injection was enough to reach a brilliant, stable glow.
Before fear could take root, another wave of Origin Energy surged into me.This time, the glow stabilized — reaching the proper threshold.
Then, the barrier around me dissolved, melting into the darkness.
Without the shield, Chaos Energy immediately rushed toward me like a starving beast.
System's POV
I watched everything unfold with hyperfocus.
When Keshav entered the Chaos Dive capsule, his soul was correctly transferred into the Chaos Dimension.
Unexpectedly, the previous body owner's soulless remnant was also pulled along.
Their souls materialized separately in the vast ocean of chaos, each protected temporarily by a barrier generated by the device — not by me.
When the injection of Origin Energy began, the energy — meant for one — had to be split between two souls.
The result: neither received enough to properly initiate world creation.
Unacceptable.
I immediately spent 1 Energy Point to synthesize an extra burst of Origin Energy and supplemented the injection.
The result?
Both souls now glowed at the correct intensity.
Problem solved.
But it raised questions.
I could not determine the distance between Keshav and the other soul fragment.Nor could I predict what kind of "world" a soulless, unconscious remnant would create — if it could even create anything at all.
Normally, the process of world formation was tightly linked to a soul's conscious will.
A soul without willpower might create... something twisted.Or worse, something beyond comprehension.
To be honest, I was more curious about that outcome than even Keshav's.
Either way, it would be fascinating to observe.
For now, Keshav was about to take the critical next step:the chaotic interaction between his soul, Origin Energy, and the raw Chaos Energy around him.
The true moment of world birth.
And in a civilization of future gods, unknown variables... could either spark legends or disasters.
Either way, it was going to be very interesting.
