That night, I sneaked into Kai's room. I needed to solidify what had happened earlier. Before that, I had to endure hours of subtle interrogation from my parents. Aging several years in a single day isn't exactly normal. I told them I was practicing a technique heavily tied to chi manipulation. I didn't go into much detail, but they were mainly concerned about my health, which, despite my slight thinness, remained robust. Jun, being a skilled healer, had already verified my story.
As I entered the room, I admired the beautiful sight of Kai, who stood silently by the window, her figure even more stunning.
"Do you think it's worth it?" she asked the moment I crossed the threshold. "Before you know it, I'll grow old," she continued sadly. "And your parents probably won't approve of us."
"Don't say such foolish things," I replied, approaching her and wrapping my arms around her from behind, resting my head on her shoulder. "My parents will be happy for my happiness, and they really liked you. Do you trust me?" I asked unexpectedly, turning her face toward mine.
"Yes," she said, just one word, but spoken with complete confidence in me, warming my heart.
"Then trust these words too. I can keep a person's body young through chi blocking. I don't know if there are any exact limits, but it'll definitely last our lifetime," I finished with a smile, watching her shocked expression.
"So, it's you who's healing the tribe's people?!" Kai whispered loudly, amusingly glancing around for eavesdroppers.
"Quieter, quieter, no one's around," I said, holding her tighter. "And yes, it was me, but please keep it a secret."
"Of course, I won't tell anyone," she replied, almost indignantly. "But how do you do it? Wait, don't tell me—let it remain your secret. Situations vary, and even the strongest-willed person can slip. But you're too trusting, Yuki! You can't share such secrets with just anyone!" Kai scolded.
"I trust you," I said, gently kissing her lips. "To me, you're no longer a stranger," I continued, covering her reddening face with light kisses. "I hope I've become something more to you too."
"You're very dear to me," Kai said, playfully dodging my lips. "I never thought I'd fall for a boy much younger than me, but here we are. Now I, my children, and all the Southern Tribe live without the constant fear of death. You've given us a new life, and you've made an adult woman fall for you," she said, kissing me herself.
We only stopped when both of us were breathless. Flushed and panting, Kai looked incredibly alluring. We continued our interrupted intimacy on the bed. Kai writhed from my simple caresses; her body seemed starved for love and tenderness. Mine, however, couldn't boast the same yet—there was arousal, but not the dizzying kind. My body was still recovering from its accelerated growth.
"Just a little longer, just a bit more patience," I reassured myself, gazing longingly at Kai's stunning body. She was barely covered in scraps of fabric—one in the bikini area already damp, the other barely concealing her full breasts.
Stopping wasn't an option, even if I couldn't fully participate yet. I removed the fabric covering her chest, admiring her beautiful breasts with pink nipples already erect. There's something primal about the urge to touch those nipples. Unable to resist, I pounced on her appetizing breasts. While one hand removed her makeshift underwear, the other played with one breast, and my mouth tried to draw pleasure from the other. Removing the final barrier, I saw her already glistening folds.
The next second, my finger plunged into her, working diligently on foreign territory.
"Yuki-i-i-i," Kai moaned, her name trembling as she clenched my finger tightly.
As she recovered from her orgasm, I began covering her body with kisses, moving lower and lower. Just as I reached her pelvis, Kai came back to herself.
"What are you doing?" she asked, embarrassed, trying to cover herself. "And don't look there so intently, please."
"You'll feel it soon," I said, licking my lips. Pushing her hands aside, I began tasting Kai.
"I… ah, more… no… ah, stop… wait…" Kai tried to speak between loud moans, but her hands pressed my face into her core.
Kai only managed one more round; after all, she'd never experienced such intimacy before. We fell asleep almost without changing position. The only thing I did was lift my body higher, resting my head on her soft breasts.

After that night, Kai walked around glowing and overjoyed for a week. No one could figure out why, but I suspect it won't last if I don't find a way to soundproof her room walls. That time, we were lucky—no one passed by that side of the palace. But guards and servants often walk by, so I need to solve this soon.
Soon, my little friend will strengthen, and with my growing chi, my desires will be insatiable.
In a calmer moment, I hinted to Kai that I wanted a very large family. She understood perfectly. There were no protests or shouts; she simply asked to keep a place for her in my heart. It turned out she hadn't expected to be the only one. Extraordinary people don't have simple lives, and she believes I'll become a great man. Kai is pure gold.
Meanwhile, I've been thinking about starting my journey around the world, but I don't plan to venture too far from the poles yet. First, I need to elevate at least one of my bending sources to the highest rank, which I can only do in the spirit world. So, my first destination is the Northern Air Temple, located near our tribe. I also plan to visit the Western Air Temple and Kyoshi Island—all within a reasonable distance from the poles, so I'll return by the solstices.
Father and Sokka weren't very enthusiastic about my idea, but they were calm. The women in my life, however, were unanimously against my little journey. It was hard to convince them all, but after a week, I succeeded.
To avoid being detained under some pretext, I left the city that same day. Fifteen minutes later, I was flying over the endless ocean, consulting a map I'd borrowed from my father's shelves. In the show, it seems like the Avatar and his team covered vast distances in a few days, but in the real world, distances are real. Even flying at high speed, I'd need to find small islands to rest and continue with renewed strength.
As I moved away from the pole, the need for warm clothing diminished. Rain replaced snow more often. Monotonous travel grows tiresome quickly. If not for my bending, I'd surely die of boredom. So, I started practicing control over my bending.
I'd never tried manipulating two elements simultaneously. Attempting to produce a stream of fire, I only destabilized the water platform. It was much harder. My body wasn't used to releasing two elements through the same channels at once. They began interfering with each other.
For the rest of the journey, I focused on channeling different energies, and by the end, it paid off. Now I can use two elements simultaneously, though only their basic techniques. Avatars don't seem to have this problem—unfair.
The Northern Air Temple looks… airy, more like a Disney castle. Knowing the monks' lifestyle, it raises the question: "Who built this for them?" As I recall, all Air Temples look spectacular—architecture like this exists nowhere else in the Avatar world.
Landing on a ledge, I saw long-unrepaired walls and grass-covered paths. Everything felt so lonely. Once, airbenders had flown throughout the Temple.
I spent the entire day exploring the Temple grounds, feeling like I was in a museum. The Mechanist isn't here yet, but I think that'll change soon. I should visit in a year or two and lure this genius inventor to our tribe. Such talents aren't found just anywhere.
I found several airball courts where airbenders loved to play. Inside the Temple, an entire section was dedicated to statues of past Avatars. It was fascinating to see the people who had shaped the world with their actions. The early Avatars looked far more warlike than the later ones. It was clear they'd had to defend their views not just with words of balance and harmony but with action. They laid the foundation for the world to see Avatars as chosen ones—feared, respected, and revered.
Their clothing showed humanity's progress. Early Avatars wore rough, unrefined garments, but with each reincarnation, fabrics gained color, and a standard for clothing emerged. Armor appeared even later.
I noticed most female Avatars were very attractive—maybe all of them, though tastes differ. Still, they were definitely above average. Even Yangchen, despite her partial baldness, was quite something. What's this? Raava's preference for attractive people? The influence of the four elements on the Avatar? Or am I just talking nonsense?
Over the next few days, I sorted through surviving scrolls, parchments, and books, seeking any crumbs of knowledge and wisdom. The Fire Nation had burned most of this already scarce resource, erasing not just the airbenders but their history too. If Aang hadn't awakened, the world might have forgotten airbending entirely after a few more centuries.
In some rooms, I found surviving scrolls and records. It was fun reading the amusing names of monks who'd won at Airball. There were population censuses for the Temple, which was strictly male, like the Southern Air Temple. There were only four temples—two male and two female. How did they replenish their numbers? I grew very curious about this.
The next day, I searched for hidden and inconspicuous spots, hoping to find something interesting. But apart from some doors that could only be opened with airbending, I found nothing. The Mechanist apparently opened some without a drop of bending, but his mind works on a different level. Sometimes, even my thoughts can't keep up with me.
My first journey was calm but not as exciting as I'd imagined. Though sometimes, such calm is what the soul desires.
