Adventure of Alchemist

A carriage of Light baron family and its escort is heading towards the Merlin dukedom, the people in the carriage were Baron Light and his second daughter Iris. Iris was a well known genius in magic and recieved a lot of praises from people, unfortunately she recieve no praise from her family, the reason is simple, she will suffering from an illness cause by her immense mana due to her body not being strong enough to handle the massive amount of mana, resulting in her reduced life, as she will die once she reaches the age of 35. Because of this her father decides to get her married early, so that her powers will be passed down to her next generation, who might have better physiques that can handle the vast mana but also to use her to have family ties with duke family through political marriage. The marriage partner is a boy named Alex Merlin, the shunned child in duke's family infamous for being an ordinary person due to his lack of mana. This hurt the self esteem of Iris Light as she not only can't succeed her father but she was also getting married off to not to a talented individual but a good for nothing who can't wield magic, however, she cannot argue her cold hearted father who only see her as a tool. Iris while looking outside the window wondered, what if she don't suffer from her illness, perhaps she would be treated better perhaps even than her older half sister who is treated as golden child of the family, she also miss her late mother who was the only one who cared for her. Suddenly the carriage and its escort is attacked by a bear monster, the knights drew their sword to fight, unfortunately the bear monster was not ordinary bear monster, it was powerful monster called gale wind claw monster, a powerful monster not only very have high strength and resilence but also possess an ability called gale wind claw, which like normal wind claw fire a torrent of air that can cut anything with a clean slice, but an ordinary wind claw can be blocked by a basic shield spell but gale wind claw requires a powerful shield magic to counter. Iris may be strong, but she wasn't that strong to stop the monster's attack but she still tried. She applied strength buff and defensive magic clad shield on the knights but the bear monster's gale wind claw easily bypassed it, cutting knights into pieces, even the baron lost his arm. The bear monster then turn his attention towards Iris, Iris on other hand, wondered if this is her end. Suddenly, someone slashed the monster's arm. Iris and her father was shocked, they saw a boy appearing to be at same age as Iris used his sword to slash the monster's arm. "Ha! Serves you right, filthy creature, for attacking innocent people, good thing I already prepared cursed beast oil which is effective on cursed beast type monsters, which I have applied to my blade before attacking", the boy said, the beast roared and attacked the boy, but the boy dodged and slashed the monster's leg, the monster lose its balance, taking advantage of this, this boy slashed the monster's other arm making it impossible for monster to attack again, "It's time to end this", the boy said, he beheaded the monster, after which he turn his attention towards the survivors, it seems only five escort knight has survived but were injured, their master seems to lost his right arm, while the girl around his age seems to be unharmed. "Hey are you guys alright?", the boy said, "We are fight except he are wounded", aknight said, "Then drink this healing potion and heal yourself", the boy said after taking out a vial of dark blue liquid, "Is that a medicine that normal people use, sorry, we prefer healing spells for quick recovery", the knight replied, "It's not an medicine but a potion, better than medicine, just drink it, you will understand what I mean", the boy replied, The knight was confused but decides to drink the liquid, the liquid is bitter like a bitter gourd but he endured it, then he notice his wound quickly healing completely surprising him, "What's that liquid! How can a mere liquid heals in the same level as healing spell, since when medicine used by normal people become this potent?!", the knight said, other knights also shocked at what he said, "I have more healing potions, don't worry I have plenty of them in my space pouch", the boy replied, "Space pouch?", Iris who was watching all this asked, "It my special pouch capable of carrying everthing just like storage magic", the boy replied, this surprised Iris, it was common of existance of space time magic spells but she never heard about an object doing the same, not only that, although it is possible to charm an object with spells, the effect seems temporary, but this space pouch seems to have permanent supernatural trait as there is no sign of the boy maintaining the charm on the object, but what surprised her more was that the strange liquid that healed her knight, she wondered, what is the origin of the strange medicine. After healing the knights, the boy turn his attention towards their master, "It's seem you are lost your arm, don't worry, I have regeneration potion which is the improved version of healing potion which not only heal the wounds but also regenerate the missing limbs", the boy said while taking out a vial of light blue liquid, "Thanks", the baron said, "But be warned unlike the mere healing potion which taste like goblin piss", the boy said, hearing this the baron's jaw dropped, "I said taste like goblin piss but this potion alongside the healing potion was made of a special herbs and special type of maggots", the boy said, "That sound worse", the baron seemed shocked while the knights felt like vomiting, Iris hearing this vomited on spot. The baron does not want to drink the liquid but seeing his lost arm he chose too, although he never tasted goblin piss while drinking the potion he wondered, if this is how goblin piss taste like as it was not as it's taste is not as bad as he thought it will be. He then saw his arm regenerated and his wounds vanishing, "Thanks for your help child, I will never forget your help", baron thanked the boy, "It's fine I just wanted to help people in trouble", the boy replied, "What's your name by the way kid?", a knight asked, "Oh, my name is Alex Merlin", the boy said his name, causing everyone escpecially Iris to be shocked, afterall this the person Iris is supposed to be married to.
