Trapped in a cave, surrounded by amalgamations comprised of spirits of the dammed , a warrior stands, covered in the blood of his comrades, his armor damaged yet he stands unbowed.
"It's gonna take a hell of a lot more to kill me!", he yells at the spirits.
"You shall join them too, warrior.", the amalgamations of spirits tell him as they close in on him
Suddenly, a burst of light ensues, driving back the amalgamations.
"Brother!", the warrior exclaims. "Roman, what have I told you about getting into dangerous situations?".
"If you're gonna blame anyone, blame the King, he sent us on this mission". "Fair enough", his brother responds. Roman's brother draws his blade from its sheath, as he applies a flame powder to set his blade ablaze.
Roman applies a light powder to coat his blade in light energy. They turn to the opposite direction from one another, so where each of them are facing the amalgamations behind one another. They turn to each other and say, "It's ass-kicking hour! God that was corny!"
The brothers lunge in opposite directions, releasing large slashes of energy, ripping the amalgamations apart. They divide with every hack and slash, two becomes four and four becomes eight, becoming smaller and weaker. Roman and his brother meet each other in the middle of the dammed spirits in order to preform a full circle slash.
Light meets flame as they preform a wind up movement. As it releases, all the spirits get eviscerated in the cave as all is left are the fallen corpses.
"How many warriors came with you?", asks the brother. "Around 5, including me." "Well that sounds like a reasonable amount of warriors to send on a quest such as this.", Roman's brother says sarcastically. "Shut up, Raymond". They both laugh it off and escape the cave.
Suddenly, they hear a voice call out to them say "Oi there lads!" They turn their heads and they see that it's their other comrades. "Oi there Howard, hello Horace", Raymond says.
"We were just here gathering timber and berries for the folk who live in the nearby village", Howard says. "Must have been the same village who made the report that there was something in the nearby cave."
Later, after they drop off the materials, Roman reports to his Lord, King Genor, to talk about what had happened. "What happened to those whom I sent along with thee!?". "Sire, they where slaughtered by those damned spirits. Thankfully, my brother was transported to me before I joined them". The King then delivers a message to his men to tell Raymond to report to him.
"Your Majesty, you summoned me?", Raymond asks. "What are is your status to Roman?". "Younger brother, Sir. We're twins." "Would you mind being apart of my army?" "It would be an honor to serve thee". "Well then, you must prove your loyalty to serve us by you and Roman completing a service for us".
