Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: First Soul Skill

The Blue Silver Grass on the ground, after its wild growth, now stood at least three times taller than before. Its crystalline shimmer gradually faded along with the blue glow, yet the life aura it exuded became significantly stronger.

This was the effect of the Blue Silver Emperor's aura. Under its influence, all Blue Silver Grass experienced a qualitative leap.

At this moment, Xiao Yan slowly opened his eyes.

Gazing at the glowing halo around his body and sensing his current strength, Xiao Yan's heart jolted in surprise.

Just from this awakening alone, he felt as if his power had increased quite significantly.

Not just his internal energy, but even his physical body and spiritual force had all received noticeable enhancements.

This kind of improvement was at least equivalent to three to five years of hard cultivation.

"This thing is a soul ring?" Xiao Yan looked up at the Blue Silver King and asked.

The Blue Silver King replied, "The soul ring you've obtained was condensed according to your body's limit. According to human terms, this soul ring is at the level of a fifty-thousand-year soul beast. It doesn't come from an external source, but from your own body. It will evolve as your physical endurance increases."

"Fifty-thousand years? Isn't that more than half the level of a top-tier soul beast?"

With that, Xiao Yan once again activated the Purple Extreme Demon Eyes, analyzing the strength gap between himself and the Blue Silver King. He silently speculated:"When I first arrived, if I had to fight this Blue Silver King, I probably wouldn't even escape alive. But now, if we fought... the odds of victory are maybe thirty percent in my favor."

Then a strange thought crossed his mind—

These so-called fifty-thousand and eighty-thousand-year soul beasts don't seem that tough.

Cultivated for that long and still only this strong?

Even while caught in such thoughts, Xiao Yan didn't ignore the changes around him.

"The Blue Silver Grass on the ground has grown more than three times taller, and even the Blue Silver King looks bulkier."

Xiao Yan said, "Blue Silver King, looks like you all gained quite a bit from my awakening too."

The Blue Silver King smiled, "Indeed. We should thank you. It was your presence that awakened a stronger vitality within us."

Hearing the King say that, Xiao Yan's slight guilt of "receiving benefits without doing anything in return" instantly vanished.

Both sides had clearly gained.

With a thought, Xiao Yan released his martial spirit.

He was curious—what would the Blue Silver Emperor look like?

A tiny blade of grass suddenly sprouted from his palm. Its crystalline leaves were now visibly larger and glowed like sapphire, with golden vein-like patterns running through them.

Whether this was Blue Silver Grass or Blue Silver Emperor, Xiao Yan didn't really care.

His power mostly came from martial arts anyway. Seeing that the once-ordinary blade of grass now had a shiny new skin, he was quite pleased.

As a loyal League of Legends fan, he was delighted—it was like unlocking a new skin.

On closer inspection, Xiao Yan found that this Blue Silver Emperor martial spirit was several times tougher than before—a true transformation.

This trip was well worth it.

"ROAR—!"

Suddenly, a thunderous beast roar came from beyond the forest.

Xiao Yan whipped around, his vision piercing over a kilometer into the distance, spotting a giant black bear charging straight toward him.

"Ah, here comes a blind bear."

The Blue Silver King said, "My King, that's a Dark Underworld Bear, roughly sixty thousand years in cultivation. Among soul beasts, it's fairly powerful. But here, with the support of the Blue Silver Grass, I can kill it easily."

"Sixty thousand years, huh? If I could endure fifty thousand, I should be able to handle this one. Let me try." Xiao Yan said with interest.

The Blue Silver King replied, "As you wish. If it proves too much, I'll step in."

Xiao Yan activated his internal force, and beneath his feet, a black soul ring appeared."Condense Form, Awaken Spirit!"

In an instant, the black soul ring flickered, and countless slender blue-golden vines shot out from the ground, rapidly intertwining.

In just a few breaths, the vines had formed a humanoid figure around 1.6 meters tall.

The vine figure, made entirely from the Blue Silver Emperor, shimmered with gold, silver, and blue, vividly lifelike. From its head dangled three thousand silky tendrils, swaying like real hair.

Then, Xiao Yan's soul ring detached from his body and merged into the vine figure. In that moment, the vine figure's eyes gleamed with a soft violet light, staring back at Xiao Yan with sentience.

"Not bad." Xiao Yan nodded after a careful look.

This soul ring had a skill called Condense Form, Awaken Spirit—using the Blue Silver Emperor's vines to create a humanoid construct. Its strength and appearance were heavily influenced by the soul ring's age.

In the future, as his soul ring aged, it might even become indistinguishable from a real person.

Boom, boom, boom—The ground shook violently as the Dark Underworld Bear drew within a hundred meters.

The bear's fur was pitch black and shiny. Standing on two legs, it reached about four to five meters tall, its entire body packed with muscle. Its blood-red eyes locked onto Xiao Yan, and it licked its tongue greedily.

Its instincts screamed that eating this human would bring immense power.

Xiao Yan used his Purple Extreme Demon Eyes to scan the bear's strength again, but then sighed and shook his head:

"Meh. Doesn't seem that strong."

With a flick of his middle finger, he sent out a blade of invisible sword qi toward the bear.

The Dark Underworld Bear, still clueless about what just happened, suddenly felt a sharp pain as a bloody hole appeared in its body.

This was the Zhong Chong Sword—fierce and bold, second only in power to the Shaoshang Sword.

Blood gushed out, and the Dark Underworld Bear's rage mode activated, roaring as it charged straight at Xiao Yan.

Having tested it once, Xiao Yan lost interest. With a thought, he let the vine humanoid take over.

With a stomp, Xiao Yan launched himself onto a large tree branch, watching calmly from above.

The vine humanoid moved as well. It leapt onto a tree, balancing lightly on a single leaf.

Its hair-like vines swayed in the wind, looking eerily human.

It raised its hand gently—blue-golden leaves appeared mid-air. With a sudden snap of the fingers, the leaves gathered like a long arrow, shooting straight toward the bear.

The Dark Underworld Bear stopped, lifted a massive fist, and slammed it forward with a howling gust of force.

BOOM!Leaves exploded everywhere, and the tree holding the vine humanoid shuddered violently.

The vine humanoid crossed its wrists, emitting a gentle blue light. Blue Silver Grass leaves gathered in both hands, forming two ring-like constructs.

With a soft tap of its foot, it abandoned the shaking tree and dove toward the Dark Underworld Bear.

With a roar, the bear locked onto the humanoid's abdomen. Its thick right arm gleamed with dark energy as it swung, aiming to smash it into pulp.
