'...%¥#...%*...'
Saiki Kusuo stood there, at a loss for words. After several seconds, he finally snapped out of it, though his steps were unsteady as he left the movie theater.
'What a day this has been…'
'If I'd used my telepathy earlier, I would've known the theater wasn't open today… and avoided this whole mess.'
'No, no, stay calm. It's just a missed movie. I already have the ring, so I can go tomorrow… Just relax.'
Saiki thought this as he headed toward his dorm, putting the ring away.
Just then, he heard a painfully familiar voice.
"Shizuku lives around here, right? Yeah, yeah, I remember the freshmen are in this building!"
"If it weren't for that damn glasses guy, I could've touched Shizuku's camera! I'd feel her warmth, see her private photos, and even get her phone number! Then I could find her anytime!"
"Damn it! That glasses guy ruined my chance! But Shizuku's bound to come out, right? I'll just wait here and see her!"
'Well, well, look who's here,' Saiki muttered, his brow twitching slightly. The voice belonged to the clerk from earlier, who'd tracked down Sakura Airi's dorm building and was now staking it out to meet her.
A full-blown stalker.
'I was planning to teach this guy a lesson anyway, but he's practically delivered himself to me. Perfect. Not that I'm using this as an excuse to vent my frustration or anything!'
Saiki activated his invisibility, concealing his presence as he quietly followed the man. Dark thoughts swirled in his mind.
And now, Saiki was ready to act.
'There are a few security cameras nearby.'
Using psychokinesis, Saiki made the cameras shift their focus elsewhere, as if they'd come alive.
The area was now camera-free.
'Your turn.'
Saiki raised his hand, and the clerk was suddenly lifted into the air, as if an invisible giant had grabbed him.
"What's happening?! What's happening?!"
Before the clerk could react, Saiki twisted his hand slightly, sending the man spinning like a yo-yo. Saiki controlled the speed and force, ensuring he didn't end up like a certain character from a certain story—turned into butter.
"What's going on—?"
The clerk had no time to scream, but his mind was screaming.
After a minute, the spinning stopped. The clerk was dazed, unable to stand, and vomited on the ground.
His brain couldn't process what was happening.
Not done yet,' Saiki smirked.
First, he hacked the clerk's phone, deleted his accounts, and exposed all his creepy online posts.
Then Saiki snapped his fingers. The clerk's clothes tore, leaving him nearly naked and kneeling on the ground.
"What the hell just happened?! There's a ghost! A ghost! A ghost!!!"
The supernatural events had terrified the clerk. He had no idea what was happening and even thought he was hallucinating.
"Hey, what are you doing?!"
At that moment, several school security guards arrived. They immediately spotted the clerk, rushed over, and restrained him.
Judging by their skills, these guards were no ordinary men. After all, this was a government-funded elite school. The clerk had no chance to resist.
"We just got an anonymous tip about a pervert near the dorms. So it's you! You've got some nerve!"
The guards scolded him harshly.
Saiki watched from a distance—he'd been the one to tip off security.
The clerk was now almost naked, the epitome of a pervert. Well, he was a pervert.
"I-I didn't do anything!"
The clerk tried to defend himself, desperately searching for an excuse.
"I-I was just stalking a high school girl!"
As soon as he said it, he froze. He couldn't believe he'd admitted it—thanks to Saiki's interference.
"So you're admitting it? You're out of control! This is a serious crime!"
"N-no! I-I just experienced a supernatural phenomenon! There's a ghost! I was lifted into the air…"
"He seems mentally unstable. HQ, we need backup…"
More guards arrived, and the incident was contained.
With no camera footage, no one would believe the clerk's wild claims.
Supernatural phenomena? Ghosts? Who'd believe that?
Watching the pervert being taken away, Saiki nodded slightly.
'Feels good. If I'd left him alone, he'd have caused trouble at school. Better to deal with him now.'
Either way, the clerk's school days were over. He'd face legal consequences or be sent to a mental hospital—either way, a menace removed.
Saiki looked up at the darkening sky.
"It's getting late. Might as well handle that idiot's problem too—Ishizaki Daichi from Class D, right?"
Saiki quickly headed toward Class D's dorm building.
